Seriously having the time of my life

I don’t write reviews, this is legitimately my very first one, but I just want to say that I am having so much fun with this game. The graphic design is engaging in every particular, and I adore the different character designs so much. Every single one is beautiful and fun to watch and to play, and the overarching story is incredibly engaging. I also want to shout out the music because it is soooo good. I love the sort of sci-fi vibe and it’s so much fun to fight battles to. In addition, everything is laid out very neatly and is easy to access and understand. The sound design is effective and really cool without being overstated. I don’t usually like games of this nature because it doesn’t feel like the fights have actual stakes, or are too slow-paced, but the action in this game feels like it has real stakes and they move very well. I discovered that this game is getting shut down in April and I’m very disappointed about it because of how much genuine fun I’ve been having already. I really wish that this game could stay around.

Falls short

Been playing since day one and put a lot of money toward the game to test wether it would be good in the long run this is my honest review, very money grab game pay to win trying to keep up with all the characters with very little way to pull them unless you purchase keys, Ai for pvp bifrost brawl is awful I notice a trend with the enemies Ai making smarter decisions forcing you to lose (I have many examples of this were my team has the upper hand in terms of characters,artifacts, synergy and levels but my Ai makes poor decisions forcing my other wise better team to lose) if this game didn’t have the “Marvel” title with beloved characters it wouldn’t have survived as long as it already has. You need to control high placements in all events throughout the game to earn the rewards needed to stay relevant and earn rewards to make your characters even decent but you won’t be able to do that unless you spend lots of money since that shortly becomes the only way to open packs, moreover the chances of getting the character from the pack still isn’t worth the money I will get the featured character 1time for every 80pulls! And at times I will get it 0 times out of 80 pulls and that will roughly run you around $50+ to do, its a joke there hiding this terrible game behind a beloved marvel sign so not fall for it

OK but needs tuning

I love the Marvel milieu and have been playing this game regularly for many days, but with markedly decreasing enjoyment. The game seems to have a hard time deciding if it is a true auto-battler and the design of the battles/scenarios makes that painfully clear, with some fights seeming to require micromanagement that is potentially frustrating because of the randomness of what skills are available to use at any given point (yes, that's part of the point of their mechanics but in practice it isn't very entertaining). Also, excessive use of battles with lots of waves/adds can feel either tedious or overwhelming or both, in which case you are definitely asking yourself, "Is this fun?". Some dedicated balancing and tuning would definitely add a star or even two to my rating. As it is I will probably focus my time on the similar but more even-handed and tactically enjoyable Worlds Collide.

Few issues, AMAZING game

This game is awesome it really is. It just needs a few things to push it further. Great keys need to be more available for free to play players. Not saying we need 100 every month but enough to where if you play regularly and participate you can get a banner pull done ever 2 months or so. Artifacts should have a slightly higher drop rate for higher rarities. And the most crucial change that needs to be made, 3 STAR HIGHLIGHTS. At this point it is insanely hard almost impossible to get get 3 star highlights for specific characters without paying out of pocket. Free to play players should have at least a chance to get all these highlights besides paying 15 dollars for them or pulling them from a banner. This game is so close to being 5 stars it just lacks in appreciating its players.

Some good ideas with poor execution

I tried. It’s not that good tho. The worst part right now is there’s not enough XP to go around. The current Event which allows you to reset characters is a poor and tedious substitute. I spend more time resetting and leveling characters between matches than actually playing the game. Also the team bonuses are so lame. We’re talking like 1% ATK bonus or 0.5% DEF bonus. Might as well just give me sleeping pills. Weak roster of Marvel characters too. The worst menus as well, it took me a day to realize where the summon hero menu is located. Why is it hidden lol?!? Too much menu surfing in general. I appreciate the attempt at making the combat more strategic than something like AFK Journey but it’s not as enjoyable. I’d rather just have control over one ultimate skill. In short, skip this and try something else (AFK J).

Enjoyed the game.

I gotta admit that, when I first started playing, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it, but I’ve actually had a lot of fun. My favorite feature is the Crimson Campaign. I’m honestly sad to see the game ending in April and was wondering if you would consider shifting it to an offline mode? Basically, the game would still be playable, but with online services and support disabled. Square Enix did something similar with their game, Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road. The Union X portion of the game was made into a cutscene movie, but the Dark Road portion is still playable, so maybe something like that, if possible, but with the entire game still playable? Anyway, thanks for a fun game, and all the hard work you guys put into it. Good luck with your future projects!

Amazing

Definitely the best superhero game on the App Store. It’s got a unique style that I love. All the hero costumes and armor armor are different. It’s not like other games where everything has the classic look. Marvel MM is super special and cool. The story is also super interesting. It relates to the comics and gives them a twist. But the game doesn’t go without its problems. I don’t like how you have to pay a whole $20 for a premium pass thing. But it’s not that big of a deal because you could play without it. Other than that, the game is amazing. I really hope the developer sees this and tries to fix that little problem. I definitely recommend this game though

Not what I expected

At first glance I was yes finally a good mobile marvel game but that was not the case. I hate the energy bar thing making using skills hard to do and combos. Also it’s random of the skills for heroes you get like I can have two skills for one hero and only one for the other and the last hero has none. Also only three heroes. I also hate how I have to finish the fight in a certain amount of ti after first story chapter it feels impossible to get all three stars trying to finish in under 30 or 45 seconds when having to get energy to use skill to do bigger damage and classes are weird. Moon knight is a fighter class but most of his skills is healing as well his ult and another healer starting guy his ult is a big g uptburst instead of healing. I would say this game is a big disappointment
