Talking ABC... is a rare gem in the crowded field of educational apps. Most apps use flat vectors or basic 3D, but the clay-motion animation here is stunningly tactile. It feels like a boutique piece of art that your child can touch and interact with. The way the clay squishes and morphs into animals like the Albatross or the Bear is mesmerizing and highly memorable for toddlers.
The educational value is solid too. It doesn't just teach the 'letter' in a vacuum; it connects the shape, the phonics, and the creature in a way that sticks. The 'Talking' mode, where the clay animals mimic the child's voice, is a huge hit and encourages vocalization. It’s polished, ad-free, and genuinely delightful for both the child and the parent watching.
Unique clay-motion animation
6 interactive games
Funny, talking characters
Engaging alphabet song
Tap on a letter in the alphabet wheel. Watch as it morphs into a clay animal. Tap the animal again to hear it say its name and make its sound. It's a wonderful way to learn through visual transformation.
Test your knowledge with built-in games like 'Find the Animal' or 'Spell the Word'. The app uses its unique clay assets to challenge kids to identify characters by their name or the sound they make.
Yes, Talking ABC... features several language options, including English, French, and German.
No offense mame , but I’d prefer you use a yak for the letter Y then a yeti . It just may confuse younger kids . The unicorn is okay cuz I’ve seen a lot of animal alphabets use that for U . But I’d wonder if you could update this app and keep the unicorn but change the yeti to a yak . That’s what I have to say .
This is my sons favorite app. After the new update for iOS this will no longer work after you move to another app and come back. It has to be closed then opened. Unfortunately my son is disabled and doesn’t understand this. I’ve reached out to the developer but haven’t heard back. I assume they are no longer supporting this app. I thought I’d use this to try to get some attention. It was great and 5 stars. Now it’s a 1. I’ll update my review if it gets fixed
Very cool clay animation. Keeps the kids interested. And in the main area from clicking the play button the kids can talk when it pauses after the letter. It will record their voice then the animal will say what they said in their voice. The kids love it.
All i want to say with you guy is this app is absolutely perfect. It's very impressed me with design and sound. My kid loves it, he can play it day by day. With creative animations he can learn about letter very easily. I hope in the next update, the team will release more feature.
This engaging academic game is amazing! I have 2 classes of 30 kindergarners that love and beg to play this game. It is amazing and keeps them engaged for 30 minutes. It grows language for them while encouraging them to learn letter recognition, letter writing, and sounds! Juts a fabulous wonderful app, worth purchasing!
I actually looked through this game before giving it to my kid, so he can play and I can say that I'm absolutely amazed by the design of this game. It is really well designed for kids to learn without a lot of hassle!
Graphics are amazing and engaging. The repeat back feature makes my son laugh. Same feature as Talking Tomcat, but in a much more educational app. My 2 year old and 5 year old both love it.
I cannot change languages so could you add that in settings?
