Minor update.
As a parent, finding apps that are both genuinely educational and safe for kids can be a struggle, but 'Elmo Loves ABCs' is the gold standard. Sesame Workshop has clearly put a lot of thought into the interface—it's intuitive enough for a three-year-old to navigate without constant adult supervision. The inclusion of real Sesame Street clips is a huge win; they provide that familiar, high-quality content that kids already love.
The tracing mechanic is forgiving yet effective, helping develop fine motor skills alongside letter recognition. I also love the 'Parent Tracker' feature which gives me a glimpse into which letters my child is mastering and which ones they might need more help with. It’s an expensive app compared to some others, but the sheer volume of content and the lack of intrusive ads make it worth every penny. It’s a wholesome, engaging, and highly effective teaching tool.
Interactive letter tracing and recognition
Over 80 classic Sesame Street video clips
75 Sesame Street themed coloring pages
Progress tracker for parents
Personalization options with your own media
Select a letter from the main screen to start. Children can trace the letter following the prompts to unlock a surprise video or coloring page. Tap the 'star' button for additional letter-specific activities like hide-and-seek.
Use the coloring section to let your child express themselves while reinforcing letter recognition. The app also allows parents to add their own photos and videos to personalize the learning experience.
The built-in ABCs tracker.
Sesame Street was and still is a very big part of me and while I’m well above the age recommendation I wanted to buy it anyway I enjoy the many features of this game especially the video portion as you get to see videos from the classic sesame street days. I love that as it evokes a lovely feeling of nostalgia. Particularly. for me the “Cookie starts with C” song does this best and I love the addition of that song into the game and appreciate it very much. I also think that from an educational standpoint children will learn their ABC’s while doing so in a fun and interactive way. Great job with this game. I
I love this app! All of my kids have loved using it since 2012. My one year old son laughs and smiles at Elmo, and enjoys the videos the most. The cards are a fun idea too! My oldest helps my son draw the letters, and on his own he colors the pictures and does the “hide and seek” feature (drawing on the screen to reveal the letter pictures) 5/5! Definitely recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ok so Elmo loves abcs was a cool game but I can’t make a card pls fix that glitch please this time for real! Thanks!
My 2 year old really enjoys all of the options in this app, including drawing, videos and games, and I love that she gets to learn while she’s playing, but I’m disappointed that I cannot get the make your own card feature to work. Every time I try, it freezes and I have to restart the app.
The app was great until now the new app icon is popping up on the screen nonstop trying to get us to upgrade again. My son can’t even play the app now because of the icon and there is no way to make it go away unless you upgrade or buy other games. Terrible. I want a refund
My grandson is constantly pressing the tab for the adults and he gets frustrated when the math problem shows up. He’s going to be. 2 soon and just wants to play his game not always have to ask Nana for help.
Hello! Could I please get help redeeming the full version, purchased this app on my phone and would like to get it on my kid’s tablet the option to redeem does not let you click it. PLEASE HELP!
The audio for the paid version doesnt work on my iPad or iPhone. All other app audio works fine. And the free version audio works fine.
