Hi Neighbor! Just refreshing the app and making updates for store compatibility.
As a parent, finding apps that aren't just 'digital candy' is a struggle. Daniel Tiger's Storybooks is a breath of fresh air. It stays true to the gentle, educational spirit of the show. My child loves the interactive elements, and I love that the lessons—like 'something special for Dad'—actually translate into real-world behavior.
The inclusion of Spanish is a fantastic bonus for bilingual households. The interface is simple enough that my toddler can navigate it without getting frustrated, and the lack of ads or intrusive pop-ups makes it a safe space. It's a high-quality educational tool disguised as a fun digital book.
6 Interactive Storybooks.
Bilingual support: English and Spanish.
Two reading modes: Narration on or off.
Familiar songs from the hit series.
Safe, ad-free environment for children.
The app is designed for independent play. Kids can tap the 'Play' button on the main screen to choose a book. Inside, tapping the characters often triggers the iconic songs from the show, which help reinforce the lesson of the story.
The gameplay is centered on 'Read to Me' and 'Read and Play' modes. In 'Read and Play', the narration pauses to allow children to engage with the screen, fostering comprehension and motor skills while they help Daniel complete tasks within the story.
Yes, it is specifically designed for preschoolers aged 2-5 to help develop social skills.
I really like this app for my daughter who has cerebral palsy. She uses a switch to turn the pages and it works wonderfully for that. But there are only 7ish books total. I was hoping we’d get many more than that or new ones would rotate in. So far, only the same books are available. Unfortunate.
Love the app, but I’m unable to access 6 of the books. Am I missing something? I’ve clicked around the app and am unable to find how to open them. Please assist! Thanks
My 3 year old loves this app and I works great. It’s simple and meaningful. Not too much hype or overstimulation. We need more apps like this PBS!
The resolution is bad.
I love Daniel Tiger’s storybooks , but after buying the app there are only 4 books. Where are the other ones ?
After purchasing this app I can only unlock 2 stories and there is no where to ask for help. Very disappointed in PBS.
Guys really? No sound again?
This app WAS great. Now only access to 2 books. What a joke!!!!
