I have loved doing cryptograms for over 50 years , from the Philadelphia Inquirer, to The Philly Daily News, but none has been more rewarding then the “ The Simple Cryptogram“ . Working the game has really helped my memory a lot!! Great game!!!♥️😊

Frustrated

I enjoy solving these puzzles, however, whenever ever I use one heart to revive, it erases all of my progress on the puzzle. And that is not what the icon shows when you press on it. It’s frustrating. I thought this was a one time happening, but now it has happened more than once. If you cannot use a heart to revive without losing the puzzle, what is the purpose of having hearts? UPDATE: I still enjoy solving these puzzles, however, a one minute ad for a wrong guess on a letter is really excessive! I will not yet delete but if it continues, I will be deleting it. I really hope the developer reads these reviews and reacts to them..

After using this app for a while, it automatically started bringing up web pages that was not initiated by me. I would close my browser before they loaded. Then while using, it started opening a web page that stated it was scanning this device. I closed my browser, restarted my device, then deleted the app. That’s really sad because I was enjoying this app every day. I have never experienced this situation before where the security of my device was at risk. I will never use again.

I found it entertaining and stimulating, however, I keep getting pop ups saying the game is out-dated and down load another game. The game seems different from this one and my progress was not kept. Then when I went back to this game, it continued with where I was as if there was no pop up saying the game is out-dated.

So I will start off this by stating one I’m giving it one star cause I know more people are likely to look at one star reviews, and they are look at anything else too. I didn’t enjoy the game. I enjoy the entire aspect of cryptograms however, the thing I don’t enjoy is playing 10 rounds being completely fine no ads and then all of a sudden the very next day I login I go to play some more and after every single round I’m bombarded by ads.

Bug or virus

It’s a great app to exercise your brain. However, there is a very annoying bug or virus that pops up trying to trick you into opening TikTok which will cause you to get strikes/mistakes. Be careful not to accidentally give permission. Programmers, please fix this annoying problem for a well deserved 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall I like this game. It is challenging enough to keep me engaged. However, some games involving specific regional cultures, terms, and names that make it difficult for players to proceed. More, some of the advertisements just wouldn’t end. not sure if such behavior is intentional or by mistake.

I love this game! Challenging and informative. I only wish it hadn’t crashed and froze. Now I have to start all over. Well I still love and enjoy it and hopefully it won’t freeze again.
