Fun, needs improvement

Not like the advertisement but still worth. Why are ads allowed to do that? so crazy. Lots of events and things to claim, a few things need to be corrected though. When I first started playing a few days ago, I noticed if you rally and everybody collected, the rally would set out in ten seconds. It no longer does that, that should be reverted or have an option to set an option for it. Or set an option to wait for someone who is literally 1 second away or do not allow them to start marching toward you. Also when you have a shield on your base, it has no time left on it or any that’s obvious because I can’t see it anywhere. I didn’t want to write this as a review, but I couldn’t find where to suggest anything. There’s also still no female character but I think they give you a different type of home base if you’re female.

Great game

Started out as a great, really fun game. Loved the cute little collectable monsters. But by the literally the second day of downloading this, it becomes nearly impossible to continue the game any farther without spending much of your time, and money. You start off paying for stuff with wood, rocks, and metal. Easy enough since your monsters (palmon) help mine them for you. But then they stopped using that to increase the land altogether in favor of gold coins. Which, are also collecting from the shop but not nearly enough to buy more land. So you end up having to use gems to pay for gold. Which you get some for free, but only so much. And when you’re out of gems you have to use real money to buy them. By the second day, building/upgrading anything becomes nearly impossible because the time to takes to do so has also increased exponentially, forcing you to eventually use ingame things to make time go faster, which you also need to pay for with actual money. Essentially? This game does what every free game gradually does over time. Say it’s free, but gradually make it nearly impossible or at least very frustrating to play or progress any further without spending actual money on them. This one just did it much faster than normal. Such a shame, it has lots of potential. Free games are such a scam.

I’m pretty close to deleting it

It certainly had me addicted in the start. It was easy to grow and want to be obsessed with every single next move you could make. As you go through the game and level up, you need a lot more to be able to reach next levels and I don’t really wanna have to collect resources every three days to level up once where I used to be able to collect resources and level up at least once a day. The game premise is that you’re completing tasks and earning resources that you can use towards leveling up in different way by completing tasks that grow your world. i’m sure this is not a new concept. However if it takes me three days to level up one part of my world, I will just straight up delete the app. It’s not worth it. I’m so sorry. Maybe make it easier to continue for people to play daily? hopefully they make it more recurring, user-friendly, and not so money hungry. I could certainly level up more now, but I would have to pay like $30 frequently to make it worth it.

Solid but fair bit of predatory monetization
Mon Jan 20 2025 lostnamez

The game play is cool. Collect pals use to get resources and it’s mixed with a few other mobile games. Honestly one of the cooler ones I’ve played. It’s a lot like one of those city builder games where you upgrade buildings, gain resources and send your squads out. But with pals and more interactive island. My issue is monetization. They have normal get resources packs for sell which is fine, but they sell integral aspects of the game too. Like sending out multiple squads cost real money for more slots, buying a second builder costs money (which is okay it’s cheap and it’s common on similar games), more research slots? Costs money. I don’t like that sort of monetization. Not willing to drop 50 dollars to unlock all slots to be most effective so I don’t know if I’ll keep playing.

Don’t get invested

I’ve played since pretty early on and they do nothing but spit in existing players faces. They made evolution material almost impossible to obtain without spending real money. They raised the max squad size so now you have to spend so many resources to get a full team ready. They spam out Pals like it’s going out of business when there are pretty much reusing assets already. Everything you build up like the tower challenges the progress gets ripped away from you and now the rewards are SIGNIFICANTLY worse than before. Don’t play this game it becomes a chore after a couple days. It’s nothing like advertised and is just another base building game. FYI to upgrade my current “town hall” it takes 30 in real life days and I’m not even top 100 on my server. And don’t get me started on severs because on attack days people from older servers who are much stronger join your world and destroy you. Don’t play this game and if you do definitely don’t spend any money on it.

Standard game, not like the Ads.
Thu Sep 04 2025 MDude88

It’s a typical gotcha game with less option right now. Every week is the same event. When you first create your account, there is fun element that almost resemble the ads, but it disappear real quick. I wish there is more PVE element with the guild or server but there isn’t. And depending on your server, it can ruin your play because the time doesn’t sync to your favor meaning all the pvp event will happen when you’re at work. The Devs response type is very quick which is great when responding to an issue, but they don’t fix the issue. Like right now, everyone is complaining about a seasonal skill that should boost your building/research wait time, it doesn’t work. The Devs sure that it works but it doesn’t and they aren’t going to do anything about it since we are mid season already.

Another menu clicker
Mon Jan 26 2026 Ripley HR Giger

The game starts off strong until you get the flying mount. Then it just becomes another menu clicker where you click on different “collection” prompts. You don’t actually adventures in the world and do anything like the very first steps in the game once you get the flying mount. You have the option to land and walk around but there is zero point to it since the game isn’t playable that way if you want to make any progress whatsoever. Speaking of which, prepare to pony up a lot of money just to raise a single high tier character up a couple of stars. Around 100 USD for two stars and it goes up from there. Earning what you need as F2P through gameplay alone is borderline impossible unless you only play this game and nothing else. So, it’s a bit of bait n switch. Starts off with you running around playing the game and ends up with you just clicking icons and playing the menu with no actual gameplay to be found. They almost got it right… why even include the cool gameplay at the start? Oh, to trick the player and have them invest something into the game and then turn it into just the same ol menu clicker game we’ve seen a million times. Very disappointing; I was hopeful that a dev changed the status quo, how naive of me.

Unoriginal and empty pay to play
Tue Nov 04 2025 Willb4d1

This game is nothing more than a mindless cycle of clicking to start countdown timers — timers you either wait hours to finish or pay real money to skip, just so you can start even more timers. There’s absolutely no story, no originality, and no new mechanics. Everything here is recycled from countless other games, just with slightly different art and a setting that borrows heavily from another popular series. The entire design revolves around paywalls and waiting. With how much money this game is making off its fanbase, I can’t understand why the developers behind Palmon haven’t released a proper, full-fledged title yet. Hopefully, that one won’t be as hollow as this. At the end of the day, this isn’t “pay-to-win” — it’s pay-to-play. There’s no skill. The gameplay boils down to “click where we tell you, then wait or pay to click again.” It’s shallow, repetitive, and downright dumb.
