Thanks….Metal Slug.

The game is very good, the only problem is that to really enjoy the game it would have to have (control support) to enjoy the gameplay more, since we all played this great game through Arcade joysticks in the 90's and later on console controls, It's just that in the form of a touch screen it is something strange and we would like to feel the nostalgia and the total experience through physical controls. I know that these new generations may be more accustomed to the touch screen but don't forget the millennials since we are the ones who supported and magnified this game in the 90's and currently we continue to promote it especially because we have more capital to enjoy memories from our childhood✌🏼

New update ruined my hard work

Just want to say first off I’m free to play and I’m a huge fan of the classic Metal Slug games. I’ve been playing this game for months, almost a year, and all the time I spent building up my guns just went straight in the trash thanks to the new update. Overall it’s still a very decent game to play especially if you like the classic ones. But all the time I spent collecting certain cores and building certain stats all went out the window. I stopped playing this game for a while because it got a bit boring but I started coming back not long ago. Today I login to the game and saw that the new update offered to upgrade my guns! Boy that was great surprise right? Well up until the game replaced all my gun cores/stats with what it thought was better. Now I don’t do as much damage, it still does an F ton of damage but it would do waay more if it had kept the stats that I collected and built up from the cores I spent time and resources obtaining. If I had known it would do that I never would’ve upgraded my guns. I’m free to play, so when I say I spent a lot of time doing all that, believe you me it was a ton of time. Maybe I’ll play again someday but right now I’m deleting this game.

Shady business doesn’t give you what you paid for.

I really liked the game. In fact, I liked it so much I dropped about $2k on the game. I spent the money on the guaranteed weapon event. Now, I fully understand that when you perform 300 weapon digs, you can get a guaranteed weapon. This is a different event. However, on the special weapon event, it states that when you do 90 weapon digs, you get the guaranteed weapon that you selected. It worked a few times, but about 7 other times it gave me something entirely different. I have the dig record to prove that I didn’t get it and despite letting customer service know, they just avoided to help me and told me I had to do 300 digs to get the weapon I wanted, which I repeat is a different event. They have decided to ignore the ticket and haven’t responded. I was ready to drop another $500, but with this experience, I will definitely not be spending any money anymore. This goes to show that they don’t even like the players that spend money on their game and they aren’t willing to correct their mistakes. This is the most genuine representation of shady business practices. GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR!!! I have proof of the redirection and lack of willingness to correct the situation.

Help and Support are really Bad

I have been playing since it was launched here in North America Server. At first i say, that this is an enjoyable game and I didn’t mind spending money, but for the past 2 months, i have a bunch of issues that I raised on their support. At first they will have a generic reply, then they will reply to you and ask for proof for receipt and purchase order. But after that, they will keep you hanging and if you dont send them a follow up in 2-days they will just going to close the ticket without giving solutions and addressing the issue. I spent around $8k usd till last week, but last week after spending around $60 the Ruby that i bought are not going to my game account. Again like my previous inquiry to them, i have submitted the required documents and proof and still not getting the things that i paid for. Looks like this is CONTRA 2.0. Another failing Gotcha game after few months from its launching data coming from the same developers.

Nostalgia, PvP, and hopeful

Disclaimer: I have spent on this game and top player in my server. This is a great game. Not the best, and has room for improvement. It played off the nostalgia in grabbing attention of old arcade game used to have to use quarters and now it’s at our finger tips. Once you come to the end of the content there is an update with more content and new story, new chars, new weapons, etc. Monthly Passes are definitely worth it as it will help you keep up with content progression. Will you be at the top? No, but it will help you enjoy what content is out. Weekly PvP is for the whales like in any other game. If you’re lucky you can match with players in similar power level, those are the most fun. Fair Play modes, yes fair, where power does not have as big of an advantage. And it’s unlimited game play, no energy needed. unlimited. Developers do need to consider giving more rewards during events, more pick axes so that F2P can get more stars on their weapons or obtain legendary ones. This will make the game more exciting for the community, and excite the spenders when the competition can put up a fight without being completely one sided. Hoping that the Developers add new mechanics to the game now that it is global and never before seen events for holidays. Thanks for reading, give it a shot.

Great game! Few suggestions though.

I’ll start off by saying that I love metal slug. It’s one of my favorite games of all time. (Right behind Risk of Rain 2 on my list). My first suggestion was when I got to the point where I was able to go around the town and check everything out. It was super neat, but the game kinda threw all of this new stuff at me all at the same time, and it took me a bit to understand where everything was and all that. My second suggestion is about the level cap to do quests in the main story. Instead of making people grind for levels, just let them go ahead and do the story! I hate having to do all this random stuff and quests just to get to the next level! (I’m on lvl 36-37 or something right now at the time of writing this review). Also, way to many cutscenes. Way to many. Also want to say that Marco Rossi with RTX on is neat by my standards but feels a bit out of place. The voice acting too. For all the characters. (Except Tarma, who sounds like what I think he would sound like. Did a solid there, Devs.) Finally, add a way to get rubies WITHOUT paying. I don’t care how hard the quest is, just have rubies as the reward. That’s all I have to say. HEAVY MACHINE GUN!!! (And what happened to the guy who said “Rocket launcher!”) Bring them back!

Don't invest your money in this game

I totally disagree that they want to scam people, the game in general is perfect, but I do not recommend people to buy inside the game, on rare occasions they have scammed me when I buy inside the game, the way I spend my money and they don't give me what I buy or charge me twice, not at that time but when you buy again they charge you again for what you bought previously, this time in their update I am convinced that they removed the technical support icon because they did not want to deal with people like me anymore we ask them to return the money they took from us, or to give us what we bought, it is not fair

So much food health to play to be taken out in minutes

I been playing for almost two weeks and this game really makes it hard to come back to on and on with how much food you lose with every time I gotta grind and grind and grind when I’m already at a point where I haven’t bought anything and have overpowered weapons and higher leveled characters believe me I love the game and metal slug too but it just doesn’t feel like a metal slug anymore when you have to wait like 12 or something hours to play again the storyline the fun exciting customization and the fun little games they have on the side that just also wastes your food like 20 then your also wasting 10 more on the storyline thats 30 each time not to mention you can raid the mini-games for more stuff thats just a waste in my opinion i would give it a 5 stars if you changed the mini-games algorithm.
