General bug fixes and improvements
INMOST is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played on mobile. It's a haunting, interconnected tale that uses its 8-bit aesthetic to create a sense of dread and melancholy that high-budget games often fail to capture. You play as three different characters—a knight, a man, and a young girl—each with a distinct gameplay style that reflects their part in the narrative.
The knight’s sections are combat-heavy and visceral, while the girl’s segments focus on stealth and environmental puzzles within a lonely house. The way these stories weave together is brilliant, and the pixel art is genuinely breathtaking, especially the lighting effects in the darker corridors. It’s a somber, emotional journey that feels like a labor of love. It’s not just a game; it’s a cinematic experience that will stay with you long after the credits roll.
Stunningly detailed pixel-art world with cinematic lighting
Three playable characters with unique mechanics and story arcs
Hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and immersive sound design
Interwoven narrative exploring deep emotional themes
Learn the rhythm of each character. The Knight requires quick reflexes in combat, whereas the Man’s sections are about slow, methodical exploration. Pay close attention to the environment to find 'Pain,' the hidden currency.
The game will automatically switch perspectives as you reach certain narrative milestones. Don't worry about missing story beats; the game ensures you see the full picture by jumping between the three timelines.
It has horror elements and a dark atmosphere, but it focuses more on story and puzzle-solving than jump scares.
I downloaded this game out of curiosity and boredom since my iPad stopped working so now I only got my iPhone to play and honestly I have no regrets whatsoever on deciding to download it because I’ve been having a lot of fun playing it just solving puzzles and understanding h the story to its fullest extent in everything, as someone who likes to draw every character I saw I thought of drawing because why not? I liked the message and understand it, I do admit I was a little confused at the beginning but as the story progressed I could understand more but I feel like ai still need more pain shards to be able to go back to the storyteller and see what always he has to say, funny how I’ve been trying to jump on every corner to see if I ca find more shards. I see how much hard work was put into the game and that’s the best part the scenery and the art was stunning the gameplay was over smooth and easy to learn. For a mobile download this is the best, I hope more games come out in the future like this. I’ll definitely spread the word about this game to get more people to play it and enjoy it as well. Keep up the good work. 🫶
this game was probably one of the best games I’ve actually played that allowed me to relax. Most games, almost like this one, don’t let me relax. I’ll be playing this game over and over again for 1 hour or more and I’ll still be relaxed, but for other games like this I can’t relax at all. My back hurts from my position, my eyes hurt from the light, and my brains sore from all the thinking. This game should get an award for how great and brilliant it is. The only down side is having to pay, to play the rest of the game….but besides that AWESOME! THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT!
I’ve been searching for a game just like this for a very long time g time now. It’s challenging, the music is sad at times but the game is compelling and a bit odd…yet I like that dark side. I would really like to be advised of other games of this caliber. It’s extremely creative! No ads. Just heartbreaking music, a great storyline and amazing. Even down to the music where you hear the scratching of the record certainly adds to the game. I find myself taking screenshots of certain levels as to not forget the levels I’ve been on. Can you tell me the song that’s played on the piano?
This game’s story made me cry! It appealed to my emotions and had me in tears as I played for hours each time I opened the app. I love the gaming style where it had story parts but not too endless that it becomes annoying. There was some fighting but that wasn’t the only part of the challenge of the app. You had to discover throughout the game different parts and tools to use in different areas in order to access more locations and objectives. Very cute game that broke my heart. Definitely one of my top 5 on the App Store.
This is a heavy story, but a beautiful one. It is not for young kids, but it is worth it for anyone who is able to handle mature themes (not that kind) that center around pain, loss, and love. The “not-quite-end” was a little jarring, and I wish there was a bit more personal involvement in the final cut scene, but I feel like I’m criticizing art. Like it or don’t, it still echoes life. Here’s my advice: play it through to the end, and remember: you aren’t perfect, but you *are* something special.
How does this game have only a handful of reviews? It’s easily the best iOS gaming experience I’ve ever had and is a phenomenal game in general. It’s gorgeous. The controls are a little finicky but never overly annoying. It’s all about exploration and puzzle solving with no odious penalties for dying. The underlying gameplay is kinetic and the amped up action sequences are incredibly well down. An overall amazing accomplishment by the people who put it together.
I enjoyed the game alot; although there were some frustrating parts. I got through the moment; paid the $5 and played the rest. I hated seeing the child being bullied by her own demos and the fate; but overall I enjoyed the rest. Well worth the money and likely will pay again if there's another great game made by these developers that matches the quality put into it as this one.
Omg?? I don’t review at all but since this beautifully tragic game only has a couple- such a wonderfully written story, I’m incredibly heartbroken and surprisingly good playthrough as well. EVERYONE pay attention from the beginning- I didn’t and sort of skipped through the speaking but if you want it to make sense in the end, pay attention! It’s worth it :)
