Bug fixes and improvements
Hi, this is a great game ….essentially, it’s a free demo and then once you’ve gotten hooked on it, they give the option to pay for the full game which about $7….I probably would have payed about $10 or maybe $5 for the second part, and another $5 for the last. This model actually goes back to from the old DOOM PC game where you got the first disc for free and then paid additionally for the following 2 levels….I’d much rather have this than being nickel and dimmed on power ups and other things that are required to actually play the game. Biggest gripe, no save between devices…I picked up my phone to continue my iPads progress and the save didn’t carry over.
Ok, first of all, this game is well worth your time and money. It’s 7 dollars for a reason. The gameplay is really good, and it’s super cool. Also, I am not a bot. If you do jot know how to play the game because there is not a tutorial, then that’s fine. It’s fun to figure things out on your own. I haven’t had this much fun since limbo or inside. If you haven’t played them, check them out. This is just a message to the developers: make more games like this! You get money, and people have joy from it! It’s win win on both sides! The only negative thing I would say is that sometimes it does lag, but its a powerful game. This game is not really meant for mobile, but I’m happy it’s on here. And for anyone saying “he’s glazing the game”. I’m not. It’s a super solid game that people should play. All the negative reviews are just people saying the game won’t load, which is not the games fault. Just developers: this is one of my favorite games on the App Store, and I bet others feel the same. Just make more pixely, hunting, and reverse horror games like this. They are really fun. So thanks. (I AM NOT A BOT). And lastly developers, like I’ve said before, make more games like this. Zombie and apocalypse games have become super popular. Make a game with this style and graphics, but somehow related to zombies or something like that
Okay, first, I love this game, it’s literally so fun and it has so much plot, I could actually sit and play this for hours. The thing is, a while after I got it I’ve been having a bug/glitch with saving my game. I’ll go in to save last checkpoint and I’ll click it and say overwrite last checkpoint, and it doesn’t work. It shows the completely wrong date and time, and when I think it’s worked and I continue playing the game and die, it resets me to my very last point, not where I saved. It didn’t do this in the beginning so I’m a little sad. Hope whatever it is is fixed soon (more like asap but whatever)!!!
It’s rare to play a mobile port of a game and find it’s as good as the console version. It’s even rarer to play a mobile port that is BETTER than the console version. Carrion delivers on the latter in spectacular fashion. The odd movement style of the creature translates satisfyingly well to the touch screen controls and adds a layer of fluidity that just works. Combined with fantastic sound design, detailed level layouts, and a simple premise: Escape. Pound for pound, this gory puzzler is more than worth your time and money. It’s a genuinely good time and one of the most satisfying gaming experiences I’ve ever had on mobile. I really can’t recommend it enough.
I am not joking when I say that this is the goat it has everything you need in a game, action, violence, suspense, horror, and if you’re like me, it has blood in it. This has to be the best games I’ve ever played in my entire life.(apart from console games.) I really wish this would get a lot more popularity, but I suggest you should try it out. It’s probably the best game ever. You can also do a lot of things in the demo too a bunch of various parts you can go to and get stronger and be better at the game for when you actually buy the game. I’m just gonna say this one final time it is the best game on the App Store
Game itself is great, played it all the way through on computer, but when I activate the abilities on this version it appears the joystick position for movement defaults to the finger being used on the ability button? If you were to put a dead zone around the ability button it would work fine but as is I activate the invisibility and it stops me from moving in the way I’m trying to. Can’t get past the very first invisibility puzzle because either I activate the invisibility before or while moving and it stops me from moving right or I fling myself and then I can’t activate the invisibility in time to not trigger the laser, and I have to go do it all over again.
I really like the game. I paid for the full game and it was good. But I have one request. A map. It could be like a upgrade like the energy upgrades or it could be unlocked if you beat the full game but it’s hard to traverse around the map because I keep going in loops and loops trying to find the way to the next area because I finished the full game and I’m trying to 100% it and it’s annoying to go in a loop trying to find a way to the next area. Anyways overall the game is great but I think the map is something it needs.
I had originally rated this game 2 stars, but I’ve moved it down to one because this game is borderline unplayable. I don’t have access to a controller and it seems this game was not made for people like me in mind. There’s 2 control functions, moving the monster and eating people/removing obstacles. I CAN ONLY MOVE THE MONSTER. I could not make it past the second or third demo level because of how frustratingly broken this game is. The game doesn’t glitch, its graphics are great, it runs incredibly smooth, but it’s also unplayable. So as much as I hate to rate one star on what could be a cool game, I can’t give it more than one star because I can see its potential. After 30ish minutes of game play, I’m ready to forget about this game. Overall, a frustrating waste of time and money, especially with how good it could be.
