Started out great

The game started out great and was becoming my favorite game ever. I was happy to finally find a game without a "Candy crush" game to continue on, but this game is awesome and doesn't make you do any of that. There are two issues with this game: the keys and the glitches. I'm making a lot of money, but everything mostly costs keys which are very hard to come by. As for the glitches, the main one i faced was on level 8 trying to access Grandma's Glade. It kept getting stuck/frozen after I was collecting the berries and I wasn't able to proceed. I tried closing and reopening the app, deleting and redownloading, restarting my phone, etc. and every time it would bring me right back to the beginning of getting into Grandma's Glade. And it always costed keys to speed up the berries, because we were forced to, but I didn't realize that even though it kept getting stuck and restarting, it still took all my keys. I wasn't able to see how many keys or money I had because every time I opened the app, it went right into that guy going into Grandma's Glade. It wasn't until all my keys were gone that it finally let me through. Other than those two issues I've faced so far, I do love the game. But those issues need to be addressed and fixed because I do see I am not the only one facing those problems.

Tired...

I’ve been playing this game off and on for 4 years. Restarted from scratch once just because I wanted to. It’s obviously a great game, and I love my coop. I just have a few suggestions: 1. The boat race tasks are so redundant. I’m tired of helping hands, Marie’s order board and Nick tasks. Sometimes the race starts with a variety of tasks, and then shortly thereafter reverts back to the same stuff. My current race has 3 helping hands tasks to do, a Marie’s order board task and 3 Nick tasks. That’s it. Awful. PLEASE - for the love of god - give us more variety. 2. I’ve stopped playing any event with a temporary farmhand. They require an insane number of quartz and tin, and I’m no longer willing to do it, event after event. 3. The huge quantities needed for items on the Marie’s order board are ridiculous and so not fun. If you’re an advanced player you should instead have other order board related challenges making a variety of items instead of having to make an insane number of 1 item. Instead I find myself taking a break from the game for a few weeks so I can reset the order board to more manageable quantities. Please make some changes!

I’ve loved this game for many, many years. I started my save file in 2015

But my love only goes so far, it doesn’t excuse the terrible glitches, the times the game just decides not to work. I’ve had to “save” my save file from disappearing forever and that was only bc it was still working on a different phone that I could access my player ID. I have to keep it in my notes just in case this game screws up itself again. I love this game and clearly so do many people, it’s a great concept if only they made their game as great as the concept. I’m not bashing the art style or any of that. Just the issues in the software. Not to meantion I’ve played this game for so long but I’ve ever bought keys till recently. I always just watched the three free keys videos. I’m finally old enough and have my own money and card attached to my iTunes. So I bought some keys a couple weeks ago. Then I noticed my three free key videos were gone. And they haven’t come back. My mom who also plays. I got her into it recently, she bought some keys to speed up her leveling so she could help me on the boat race and her three free key videos are also gone and haven’t come back. That’s crap I think. I was hoping it was a glitch bc no one else has ever mentioned this but they just updated it and I still don’t have the videos. Do I not get the videos just bc I bought a couple keys? Great concept, terrible software.

Glitchy

I really do love this game. I’ve had it for I would guess at least 6 years but I’m only on level 24 since I go through phases of playing. Sometimes I delete it and then I re download it 6 months later and play again. Just a few days ago I started playing again. I’ve been playing a lot these past couple of days and today have been noticing some glitches on the game. When I trained my prize pig once the training was finished I went to collect my rewards and the game simply won’t let me click on it and my bee hive for some reason? I tried moving the pig to a different spot and noticed it’s allowing me to place it on top of craft stations, other animal pens, and farmland. The board where you can put goods up for sale will not load no matter what I do. I tried turning off my WiFi, restarting my phone, I even deleted the app and re downloaded it and it still won’t load. And my last thing is when I finish crafting an item for a quest when I click to collect the item the quest is not registering that I crafted the item. Causing me to have to re craft so many things over and over and it still not working. Makes me so sad because I was just about to level up and finish so many quests. With all these issues it’s almost impossible to play the game at all. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Already rated

Ok so update 2020 I started playing again love the new stuff but my plots have been reversed twice and the amount of keys to remove the things I have already removed originally and yesterday I’m not doing it again I spent 180 keys yesterday bc I can’t put things back where they go and now i calculated over 200 keys bc 3 plots are blocked and zynga is not available really??? I undersatnd but have all your workers work from home bc this is not ok. Still one star Updated 2017 zynga needs to stop with the contests every month and come up with something more permanent like new recipes new machines and new animals more land and more things to do. It is very old to do things over and over other games are better and I have finished everything and you can’t even upgrade barn anymore to hold more items so I am permanently stuck I wish this app would stop asking me to rate it I've been playing for five years and rated a long time ago...... I would like to see less contest and better prizes these "temporary" farmhands are worthless to continuous players not really worth the effort.... make it so I can make my barn bigger at 940 I can only have 5 of each thing make it so I can have at least 10 so I can stock up for contests same with silo why stop at 940 why not make it even 1000 at least uve updated amount of money we can have now do it with barn and silo.... also that house next to pier make it so that I can do it for other crops I haven't had yet like wheat and pears

Sabotage

There are several elements, especially in special or new events, that are throughly disgusting. I am/was working on island exploration. On at least 2 occasions i won the prize— hours of unlimited fastseeds - the reward came so late in the night i could not use them....even old folks have bedtimes. Yesterday i almost had the order board completed and the captain took a 3 hour unannounced exploration which locked my board. (i still had more than a day to work on the board). 3 hours later the captain returned and the visit on the island was on the remaining time from the orginal quest but all my filled orders were erased with very little time to complete a completely new order board. Add to that the compexity of limited storage for sea and water elements. And the limited availability of minerals to feed the plants, i will no longer attempt to do island explorations, This part of the game goes with other events (like the competitions where’s the top players win special events farm hands). Which i gave up on because you could not win against players that purchase extra keys and such. The game had me hooked because of the continual addition of new elements. The sabotage embedded in these elements leaves me only the old farm parts that are now minotonous for me.

First time playing

I really wanted a cool farm game to play and this was the top searched and liked game. Boom I downloaded it and it was going smooth at first. So you have a barn where you store all your food and of course this barn has a limit of how much food could be stored at once which is fine of course. What’s ANNOYING is how LITTLE food you have to hold . It’s so hard to get experience points after like level 7 ! You get those experiences by completing tasks or selling food in your barn, but you can only sell the food in the barn if you have so many of the item. So if you have too many of something else but not enough to sell it just becomes hard to get experience because you have to sell your barn food ina different way that DOESNT get you XP just coins . Coins are easy to get but to upstage and advance levels it seems like a lot. I was excited to get to level 11 so I can play coop but I feel like I’m in this never ending loop of trying to make things and I always get the “barn is full” message ! It gets so frustrating so to update the barn you need a tool that you can only get after like level 15 😂 or you can use keys which of course cost money if you don’t have any. And the barn only increases space for 10 more items too. It is a shame I’m not sure if this game is it for the long run . Very annoying space limitations

Best Game and Nostalgic

I remember when I was about 7-8 years old, Id play this game on my aunts ipad because she absolutely adored this game! I would always spend her coins on decorations which made her upset haha but it was so fun for me to play when I was little even though I didnt understand the concept of it very well at the time. Now that I'm much older, Ive downloaded it to begin my own farm game. Its been so nostalgic and calming. The past few days Ive been having crazy stomach aches (probably something I ate) but Ive been playing this game while I rest and its been amazing. Truly a distraction of my pain haha and something to help me look back in my childhood when times were simpler. This is more of a personal review rather than a review about the game itself but thats only because I have no issues with the game whatsoever. I like the idea of connecting with farmers around the world and joining co-ops. I love how every time I enter the game, I can actively play it while waiting for crops or other things to be made or I can just exit the game and come back to it finished. I love this game so much. Thank you for still existing after 10 years.
