Very fun game but broken progression wall!!!!

I really enjoy the core gameplay and style of this game, but I’ve hit a major issue that’s made it almost unplayable: I can’t progress because the game won’t give me the final 4 metal pieces needed to unlock the base. I’ve played for hours, completed every mission, finished the campaign, watched dozens of ads, and tried every game mode available, but no matter what I do, the game just keeps giving me wood, bricks, and money. It’s been days, and the metal simply won’t drop. What makes this more frustrating is that this issue has been mentioned in other reviews dating back months, and it still hasn’t been addressed. It feels like a soft paywall, but even the shop doesn’t offer a way to get the missing metal. I really want to keep playing , it’s a great concept and very addicting but it’s hard to enjoy a game that literally blocks you from progressing without any real solution. Please fix this for your players.

Lots of fun…but then you can’t advance

This is a really fun game, I enjoy(ed) it very much. Until, like everyone else, I realize I had been duped and there is no such thing as a “level 4.” With the exception of the fact that the amount of money you earn does not go up with the cost it takes to acquire new weapons and upgrade them, which is super annoying. Most games do this to an extent, but this developed intentionally makes it more difficult to earn more money relative to the cost of “new weapons,” and some of the upgrades are total trash. For example: nobody in their right mind in any real scenario would take a weak 9mm pup gun over an H&K MG5. In this game, you give up a powerful H&K for a weak smg with a small clip on very difficult level, making it much harder to win levels. Otherwise the graphics are good, and the sound of some of the weapons (like the MG5) is awesome. The air raids are super fun too, and are actually my favorite part of the game, but now I have to uninstall it because, well, there is no more game left. Getting a refund for the money I spent through Apple. Suggest you do the same. Update: added levels but not weapons. Playing new levels no good without updated weapons. Come on you guys this is lame.

Could have been 5 stars

So I finally had to just give up and come here to give an honest review of this game… while it is a great game that I found a lot of fun to play but it has a major problem… I battled my way through the first chapter, finally got the dog companion and moved on to the next chapter… I battled out in campaign and salvage for a couple of weeks… now for the problem that resulted in a 1 star review: I worked hard to get all the necessary materials to build the base… it came down to the final 4 items needed to earn the base and for some reason the game will not award me those items. The steel beams or whatever they are. I already completed campaign and have done a ton of the helicopter stuff but you don’t get items for those so I have spent the last week straight playing salvage again and again every single night and the game will not give me those items and it won’t let me advance to the next chapter. Not sure if it’s trying to force me to purchase the vip stuff or what but I won’t be doing that and I guess I have no choice but to delete the app and move on to another game by another developer because if they do stuff like this with one game, they will do it with all of them. Fix it… otherwise what’s the point?

Great until it isn’t.

I have enjoyed the first 30 levels and really hate that you have to keep upgrading weapons to continue. You need cash to do that and unless you want to pay for cash or grind out a level you can’t pass because of too weak a weapon, or watch endless ads, you can’t progress. You also spend all your money on weapons that become obsolete and have no way to trade in those old weapons so money wasted. After developer’s response: Yes it makes sense to require stronger weapons as the challenges increase in difficulty, but you don’t allow the replaying of past levels so often you just get stuck with a weapon which is not powerful enough and no way to earn money to upgrade to another more powerful one without buying cash or watching 50 ads. Sorry I am done with this app.

They don’t care about users and they lie about fixing issue

The same thing as most, stuck needing those 4 pieces to continue game. I have written developers several times going back months about the issue, the replies telling me they were aware about the problem and would be fixing it with an update. Well, just downloaded the 3rd update since I was told to wait for an update and still issue is not fixed. So apparently the developers don’t care about the players and game enough to actually fix a problem that everyone seems to have. OR they don’t know how to fix it, and instead LIE to users telling them it will be fixed with the next update. Very unfortunate because the game was actually fun until of course you can continue anymore because of a problem that a player can’t do anything about. I guess waiting all this time for an update that will fix the problem and listening to lies from developers is over. Delete it is, and looking out to not download other games from them as to not have same issue.

F this Scam

Deleted and re-downloaded this game multiple times to end up in the same “glitch” everyone else does. I need 4 more steel beams to get the base. On my last attempt with this game, I was doing the math myself the whole time, watching adds every time steel was a reward to double the amount I would get. On my last mission getting steel beams, I already had 76, and needed a total of 94. The reward was giving 10, doubled it by watching an add, and some how came out with having only 90 steel beams and nothing else I can do to get more. This game is a waste and a scam. With as many reviews there is reporting the “glitch” plus the number of emails I’m sure “support” has gotten about this issue, but also seeing the latest update was 4 months really says that the game is unfinished, creators/editors don’t care about the content itself, and that this is just a scam to hope people will spend money on their lazy stupidity. Hope this game gets fixed or completely removed from App Store

Game won’t advance

Like others have experienced, the game gets you to a certain level but then won’t let you advance. It seems to be a bug. It just cycles through the same stages and won’t give you the necessary tools to build the base camp. There’s no way to buy them and I haven’t found a support email. I’d also love the ability to buy weapons rather than collect game bucks to purchase but the weapons don’t become available until you reach a certain level but the game won’t let you advance beyond a lower level so you never get new weapons. The weapon you have eventually becomes not powerful enough so you can’t play anymore beyond a certain point. It’s a great game but I’m disappointed that it won’t let you advance beyond a certain level. I have to cancel my subscription as a result. Bummer 😩

Game broken and abandoned. Do not any spend money.

Edit: UPDATE and ANSWER, the reason no one can build their Base and are stuck at 90/94 bars is because the developers designed it that way. They have not finished creating any content after the Base, so they can’t let you build the base. We have to wait for them to creat new content for the game before you can finish your base. They do not know how long this will take. Original: As you can see from most every recent review, the game is literally unplayable because of the resource glitch. No matter what you do, even paying money, you can NEVER finish your base. You will be stuck at 90/94 bars, and the game ends at that point, you cannot move on or play. Players have posted about this for 5 months, yet the developer has done nothing. They even updated the game today, Nov 15, and the glitch that makes the game unplayable is still there. Unbelievable.
