The Godfeather is a hilariously unhinged and surprisingly deep roguelike that transforms the mundane nuisance of suburban pigeons into a high-stakes mafia drama. You play as a 'pigeon associate' working for the underworld, tasked with reclaiming the neighborhood one district at a time. The core gameplay involves a bird's-eye-view of various suburban environments, where you must use precision 'pooping' and dive-bombing to take out enemies—mostly neighborhood cats, drones, and humans who have wronged the flock.
As an expert in roguelike loops, I found the progression to be expertly tuned. Every run provides you with breadcrumbs (the game's currency) that you can spend on permanent upgrades to your pigeon’s flight speed, pooping frequency, and health. The procedural generation ensures that the yards and streets you fly over always feel fresh, and the mafia-themed narrative is genuinely funny, with bird-related puns galore. It’s a stylish, quirky, and incredibly satisfying arcade experience that turns being a public nuisance into a strategic art form.

I love the idea of this game, but I can’t tell how well it was executed because it runs poorly on my iPhone 8. It lags in places, and it makes my phone heat up rapidly. There’s also a progression-ruining glitch—the game won’t save a particular type of permanent currency you can earn during runs.
Good game, I love the aspect of flying around and the story is good but I would love to see more levels implemented into the main story, I finished the main story in about 3 hours or so, making the game longer would be great
Game needs an update. Too many bugs. Would love my money back
