Fun, love it but glitches

Update: Customer Service got back to me and made things right and got me my coins back, I get frustrated that they always say to check and make sure you have a strong Internet connection because I do and others have had the same issue with the game glitching. It isn’t a connection issue it is a developer issue and I just wish they would just stop saying it could be the connection when it clearly is an issue. I’m still going to give them 5 stars because it is still fun and they do credit you back because they can see how many coins the game glitched out on which I appreciate. I love this game so much, I play it daily. Most of the time it is awesome despite the insane amount of pop up ads, I have had the game close out every so often (once or twice a week give or take) right as I’m starting a new round so I end up losing coins, sometimes it is 250 sometimes 2500, and when I paid money for some of those coins it gets frustrating. I have contacted customer service and have yet for them to reach back out to me and it is very frustrating, so the glitching I took away a star and the customer service I took away another.

Bots, Bots, Boooooooots!!!

All you are playing against is the computer...which is cool at times...but this game is totally designed to take your hard earned real cash...no matter how much you play you’ll never work your way up with coins to get into the big tables....you have to drop of real money...and once you do...you immediately go on a super losing streak or your partner which is a bit as well does some dumb Sugar Honey Ice Tea...word to the wise...do not under any circumstances spend real dollars on this game...it is a total waste of funds...they absolutely know your hand in and out...and I don’t even want to talk about the nil bids that they somehow get which usually ends the game in just one hand on the higher tables...they outlook of the game is cool but they are cheating you...and it’s the same responses from the other bots every time..go 6 and you get the good luck..ask what are you doing and your partner cries...no other emotions that would usual come from a human player....sometimes if I have a guaranteed L I will just go 13 and the person behind automatically bids will bid a nil and my partner bids a blind nil...so it just shows how it’s programmed...then I won’t even play the hand just walk away and let the timer go down on every card played...nobody on the table says a word or emote..they just sit there...and don’t move...the cool part about screen record is I can send in the evidence of what the games do and the algorithm

Loved it at First but

At first I loved playing! I like that you can stay with a partner for another match so when you had a solid partner the game was even better. I always had decent amount of money and could bet varying amounts. ALL FREE so the pop ups when opening the game were tolerable and relevant. But in the past few weeks since Super Bowl there has been heavy push to watch more commercials which you HAVE TO WATCH IF YOU RUN OUT OF TOKENS TO BET and still want to play for free, which seems to be the case every time I play anymore. But it has made me not want to even play the the game anymore and I’ve seriously considered deleting app altogether. All of a sudden I have worst hands over and over again which at this point is statistical impossibility. It’s as if they have stacked odds so much against a player it has taken enjoyment out of game. I tried to tough it out watch the commercials but after my win percentage fell probably 50% I stopped playing. I wish the developers would create a positive association with the ads with little reinforcement instead of waiting till ones in complete deprivation state. I would have given it 2.5 stars today but the beginning was so fun I couldn’t rate it so low. Hopefully they fix this issue.

Do NOT SPEND MONEY

I rarely leave reviews , but this has got to be the worse game ever. I promise if you spend any money on here you will feel like you’re being scammed. I’ve made several purchases on here over the last week or two. Holidays wanted to bide some time etc. The first purchase it’s like you can’t lose , getting 7-9 books a hand it’s unrealistic. But after that; the game will start glitching, at first I thought it was an honest glitch . I purchased a coin package and when you go to play the game it freezes, and by the time you get back in the computer had made the bid for you and well for instance the last time before this review it bid 3 automatically for me , needless to say I got zero books and I would have bid zero because I had a queen of hearts with about 5 hearts in my hand that’s the highest card I had, with two spades . Anyway I made a report and they gave me 20k coins mind you I hit night like 1.1 million coins . This glitch seems to happen idk until you’re out of coins. The second purchase of over $10 same thing , made another report thinking maybe I’m doing something wrong so I don’t buy any coins for a while, tonight I made another purchase and it just do the same thing over and over and over . This game is legit programmed not to be random, you’re not playing a game of chance based on the deal, it’s a scam 100%. Don’t believe me go make a few purchases .

Watch out!

I’ve been on this site about a year, I love playing spades. Overall it’s a good spade site, but Beware. They partner you with anyone, so if your a great player, you will probably be partnered with a rookie, with no idea how to play. You never know if your playing with real people or bots. Now for the rip-off part. It’s happened to me twice. First time site said I needed to log into Facebook, so did...again. When I did I lost all my coins (points) lost my rating, lost my achievements. Sent a email to site, they informed me they could restore my coins, but could Not restore my rating or achievements. So I had to work at getting back my rating & achievements, I did. Now a month ago, same thing happen, except this time they didn’t steal my rating, but took my achievements & my coins (points), I had roughly 1 million 800 thousand. Now some of those I payed cash for, some I won. So sent I sent emails, first they said they couldn’t understand my problem. So I explained it again. Then they said they couldn’t find me in the system, after 4th email they found me, But said I didn’t have that many coins (points). I asked to restore what they thought I had then. Haven’t heard from them at all since. So I’m still playing, I started over with the 500 or so points they left me with. I’ve built it up to about 80,000 points so far. But I will give this Crooked Site another Dime. After having been Ripped off twice.

Spades review

I’ve been playing spades for over 20 years online, and I’m as experienced as you get and this site, I don’t know how many players actually play at this site and how many are bots. Play here is so methodical, that either your playing with bots or people that are taught to play a certain way. Here’s a couple of things that happen, that make my point obvious. First off, in the first couple of thousand games that I’ve played, I’ve never seen anyone but myself, not Trump the queen of a suit. You can lead the ace of a suit and the king, and then the queen gets trumped by your partner even though it’s winner unless trumped. Also almost every lead is a short suit lead, so if the person that lead leads diamonds, then 99% of the time they are cutting that suit, after one ore two leads in that suit. It’s not very uncommon for a short suit lead, especially among new players, but not almost every hand. Another thing that is robotical is when a player leads off with a king, 95% of the time they have 2 of that suit, so you know to throw off if your cutting that suit, if they’re playing behind you. If your a skilled spades player it won’t take you long to figure this off. I believe most of the players at your table are bots, unless they have people playing like bots on purpose.

Fallen from grace.

There was a point I was obsessed with this game. Played it daily and was easily the best spades game on any platform. But over time they have made major decision that make the game more stressful than fun. When I first started you had the option of playing games with multiple different final total scores 100, 150 etc. Then they changed to each games goes to 100. Now only 70. Most spades game end that way. There are 13 books/tricks 7 gets you the win. This means most session will have only one rotation allowing very little room for comebacks from an over bid or round bags piling up. The game has basically been reduced to 7 or nil bid. Long time lovers of the game also know the game didn’t always have the coin multiplier feature. The gene was worth what it was worth. Now you can have a partner make a terrible bid and you lose 8,000 coins on what was a 1,000 bet. Now you have no coins and you are forced to either buy them, sit through an ad, or wait for hours to play again. It seems the company has mad decision that make you play less but pay more. Don’t even get me started on the travel book feature who idea was that! Greed has ruined another one of my favorite things.

Money Grab Game

Honestly, I think this game is a money scam. If you buy coins to play you get fair games and fair deals. But if you watch advertisements for free coins the game deals you bad hands or the computers you play Bid Nil so that you lose the free coins quickly. I played 4-5 games back to back and EACH time at least one of the opponents Bid Nil. That doesn’t happen back to back like that with purchased coins and fair games. It makes the game so less interesting when the opponents are purposefully blowing the game to win the bonus 100 points. Plus it gives the computers that are playing the advantage no matter how many books you and your partner score because that Bid Nil bonus 100 points will make the opponents win almost everytime. I thought this was an app where I could play with real people but it’s so obvious that computers/AI/robots are in the mix. After I studied some of the plays, I recognized that no real person would know to play certain cards during the game unless it’s a computer that knows what cards each players have. They expect you to have an addiction after they intentionally make you blow your free coins in hope that you will purchase more coins to play. This is not an app for people who just want to play a free decent game of spades. It’s a money grab. Deleting this app.
