Sorry! World Board Game is a nostalgia trip done right. It takes the core 'bump and slide' mechanic that made the original Hasbro game a household name and expands it into a global journey. The transition to digital is seamless; the animations of the pawns sliding across the board are charming, and the sound of a successful 'Sorry!' bump is just as satisfying as it was in person.

The themed boards (Tokyo, London, Paris) aren't just cosmetic. They introduce subtle variations in the card deck that change the strategy. In the Tokyo board, for instance, there are 'Super Slide' cards that can catapult you halfway across the map. The multiplayer works flawlessly, with an automated turn system that keeps the game moving at a much faster pace than the physical version. It’s the perfect family game for a mobile era—competitive, easy to learn, and full of those 'I can't believe you just did that' moments.

Fun game/Bit unbalanced

The sorry board game is a fun game indeed to pass time, but it’s also a bit scammy at the same time. Like.. you can tell when you’re going to lose a game. When the game constantly gives you plus 1 and 2 and minus 4 back to back, and it gives the other play a plus 12 and an 11/swap, and a plus 4/sorry back to back… you already know you’ve lost the game. And everytime… what do you know? … that’s right… you lose the game every single time.. and I mean Every. Single. Time. …when that happens. I’ve worked so hard to get 250k at least 5 times now, and each time .. I get in the game.. I’m about to win, and then suddenly .. I only get plus 1 and plus 2 all around the board, whilst the opponent gets the best “luck” of their lives. Plus 4/sorry, plus 11/swap, then when they’re right outside their base… they magically just happen to get a 5 on their next roll every single time.. winning the game, or a plus 3 somehow which wins them the game. Now… WTH are the odds of that? What’s the probability of that? I’d wager it’s very low, which leads me to believe either they’re cheating when they’re about to lose, or the game is just a scam.

Rigged!!!

I can’t stand the extent that this game rigged!!! I know this probably isn’t the popular opinion but if you play long enough and pay attention you will realize I am right. First off, you will notice a pattern in the cards. The one I notice the most is the two number one cards that are always back to back. They are not “shuffled” and random each game. Second, 9 out of 10 times, cards are given so the game evens out almost identically on each side of the board near the end resulting in a close game. This doesn’t make it fun when you know it’s going to happen almost every time. If you get a lot of cards in the beginning sending your opponents pawns to the house then towards the end they will suddenly get -4 cards that put their pawns right at the door of their home and you will get cards that only move you one or two spaces until they are caught up and the game is even again. It’s too predictable and happens too much for it to be coincidence. I also wish there was a way to turn off the chat and emojis because at the end of the day it’s just a game and there are some really ugly people out there. Some people are just really sore losers and other people find it necessary to send an emoji to be ugly every time they get a good card. I also am not here to chat with random strangers. Just take the win or loss and move on.

I really like it

I really like the game. It’s my latest go to game. The good things about the game is how quickly you can play with someone. You don’t feel like you have to pay to win or progress further which is a relief. You can but, you don’t have to. They constantly keep the game updated and add new features and many surprises. My biggest frustration right now is the amount of times this game has bricked my phone for about 10-15 seconds. I can’t swipe out of the game, I can’t turn my phone off, I can’t do anything except stare at the frozen game screen. I have lost so many coins and games because of it. It happens every single game I play, at least 4 to 5 times a game depending on how quickly I can get the game to unfreeze. That didn’t start until about 1 month ago. I would really like to see all the popups decrease and not be so in your face the second you open the game or finish a game. It would’ve nice to have a classic version of the game if we choose. Bring us back to the day of original Sorry, trouble and candy land! I do sincerely enjoy this game and recommend it! Just please find a way to fix the freezing issue as soon as possible.

Soft 3

Okay so here’s the thing, I was so excited to learn that my (our) beloved classic Sorry! Game had now been made into an app for even more fun, but now on the go! I will say it’s very thought out, though it does give off that this game was SEVERELY bitten off of Monopoly Go, could be a coincidence.. or not. Anywho it is very addictive and I love that you can play with friends and family once either adding them or connecting to facebook however, I give only a three because you can not convince me this game is not simply rage bait.. I have been playing for two days now and when I say out of about 50 rounds I’ve played to only have won MAYBE five is beyond ridiculous.. I understand it’s a game and generated at that, but why does the system make it so hard to get the cards we actually need.. not to mention all the try hards that are playing.. another review left a very similar review even using the example of say we need only one more space to win, we keep getting cards like 12+ while the opponent ironically draws the number we need.. anywho I do enjoy the game I just wish it was a little more fair played. I would also like to add to upgrade your town should not be that many hammers at such an early stage in the game..

Could Us Some Revising

I started out loving the game. Because it is honestly addicting and it is one of my favorite childhood games. However, I give it a rating of two stars for several reasons. One, the game I feel is rigged and stuck on this loop of how many games we can or can’t win in a row. It’s as if I’ve started losing more than winning. Not that I don’t like losing or anything, but the probability is way low when it comes to winning. Two, it’s like it’s become so predictable you almost know what card they are going to give you or your opponent. Or if you are making winning moves while your opponent isn’t making strategic moves to win, they’ll start giving you cards to have you move backwards, or if you’re close to home, they’ll constantly give cards where you can’t make any moves. That’s when you know, more than likely, you’re about to lose. Not every time, but majority of the time. And lastly, they scam you out of your winnings. Because how is it that if I play a game worth 50k coins, and I win the game, I only win 80k coins. Meaning I only profited 30k instead of 50k? Where are the remainder of the coins going if we don’t receive them back when we lose? I feel you all should just keep it random. The game is way too predictable and has several flaws that need to be adjusted. I would hate to delete it because eventually, it will get boring really fast.

Loss when other person times out is awful design
Sat Oct 18 2025 dubblechzburger

Have been having a lot of fun with this app but what knocked it down to 3 stars is this awful design or bug in how it handles a player timing out on their turn. The person I was playing had a slight “lead” and suddenly took forever to take a turn. The initial timer went and then the red last warning timer started. During this the person emoted “Let’s Go!” Several times. I thought they were confused about whose turn it was and telling me to play. The timer ended. The game ended. I got credited with the loss. I was griefed and had to sit for nearly 2 minutes waiting and I lost presumably because they had the slight lead. If this is intended or is a bug that doesn’t get fixed it’s going to lead to an awful QOL strategy where you just rush to take an initial lead and then troll your opponent by not playing and getting the free W.

Kinda fun

The game is fun. I feel like this is gonna make me sound a bit of a sore loser but I promise I am not. I truly feel like the system in his game is finally broken. There’s no way every single time I win one game I lose quite a few in a row. What makes the game worse is that it seems as if a player gets more cards to knock me back to base versus then what I get on top of that I feel like the chances of some cars coming up, which is slightly realistic, but still unrealistic to the point it’s like I’m two spots away from home. The player can go across the board and get all of their pieces home before I even get the peace home itself. I also feel like there should be a button to skip when you can make no valid moves.

For the most part good

For the most part I like the game. Gameplay is fun mini games are cool. My biggest issues are these: 1: you can’t tap through animations. Like when it shows you your rewards or such. With ADHD I HATE having to wait till the animations are done. Just let me tap through them so I can get to the next thing. Please! lol 2: In between every game, the ads pop up. I understand them popping up when you open the game for the first time each time you play. But in between every game gets really annoying and I’m honestly ready to delete the game because of this. Makes the actual gameplay annoying. I know I can start the mini game. There is a button for it. But I don’t want to right now. Reminding me after every round I play is annoying. And makes me close the game. Otherwise I like the game.
