Slime 3K: Rise against Despot puts you in the gooey shoes of a bio-engineered Slime on a rampage. Unlike other survivor games, you customize your ability pool by building a deck. Collect DNA to evolve, unlock insane weapons like Tesla coils and meat grinders, and take down the Despot's puny human army.

Our Expert Score

88/100

Slime 3K: Rise against Despot is a masterclass in the 'Survivor' subgenre, injecting much-needed tactical depth via its deck-building system. As a fan of the Despot series, I was thrilled to see the same biting humor and grotesque pixel art translated so well into a bullet-heaven format. The ability to curate your skill pool before a run starts transforms the typical RNG frustration into a strategic puzzle of building the ultimate gooey engine of destruction.

Progression feels earned and meaningful. The sheer variety of weapons—from spinning blades to high-tech lasers—ensures that no two 'evolutions' feel identical. While the difficulty spikes can be brutal, the DNA upgrade system provides a satisfying sense of power creep. If you're tired of clones and want a survival game with a brain and a very dark heart, Slime 3K is an absolute mandatory play.

Using a iPhone 16 max and can barely read the text on screen. Game seems ok but can’t tell you as I don’t really know what’s going on when trying to upgrade as it’s all to small

Fun game, but crashes. A lot.
