New curriculum courses are here — with matching workbooks (digital or physical)! Plus, enjoy new Galaxy Egg challenges, smoother performance, and lots of other improvements.
Tappity is essentially the 'Netflix of Science' for the elementary school crowd, and it executes that vision perfectly. By centering the experience around Haley, a real-life science expert, the app bridges the gap between passive video watching and active learning. The content isn't just a series of facts; it’s an interactive journey where kids are asked to participate in the storytelling—whether that’s virtually dissecting a frog or building a rocket ship.
What sets Tappity apart is the sheer volume of quality content. With over 500 lessons aligned with NGSS standards, it's a legitimate tool for homeschoolers or parents looking to supplement school curriculum. The live game shows add a brilliant layer of community and competition, encouraging kids to retain what they've learned to climb the leaderboard. The interface is intuitive enough for a four-year-old but deep enough to keep a ten-year-old engaged, all within a safe, ad-free environment that works offline.
500+ interactive science lessons and activities for ages 4-10.
Real-life science experts like Haley lead every lesson.
Teacher-approved curriculum aligned with NGSS standards.
Weekly Live Game Shows and science challenges.
Virtual experiments that follow the scientific method.
Science Journal for kids to track their learning milestones.
100% ad-free and supports offline play for travel.
When you first open Tappity, you meet Haley, your child's personal science expert. Children can choose from various 'Worlds' like Space or the Human Body. Each lesson starts with a free story to introduce the topic. As children progress, they engage in 'hands-on' digital interactions—like dragging parts to build a rocket or tapping to reveal internal organs—while Haley explains the concepts in real-time.
The gameplay is built around participation. After learning a concept, children take part in high-quality original game shows where they answer trivia questions to earn points and level up. They also conduct 'real' science experiments virtually, making choices at every step of the scientific method—from forming a hypothesis to seeing the final result—all without the mess of a physical lab.
Tappity is designed for children ages 4 to 10, specifically covering grades K-5.
Tappity supports offline access, making it perfect for car rides or flights once the content has been downloaded.

I purchased live weekly lessons three time a week for a year. A few weeks later they ended live lessons and posted dead ones instead with no schedule. I wrote a letter of discontent and there was no remedy. My kid was completely uninterested. Then they rebooted with live lessons a few months later and since that reboot we haven’t been able to log in. I have emailed over and over without resolve. Yes l have the most current version…yes l have a supported device. Then. 3/4th of the way through my paid year, still unable to get logged in, my daughter pressed me again. This round they had messenger app support and a phone number. No pick up on phone and still not email, but hey!! Messenger reply in minutes with complete resolution and they added an extra year for pain and suffering. I am happy. Weeks of mot school due to holidays and l can assign this app while l work from home. COVID…hard stuff as a single mom. This app hold her attention when live and interactive. We rent happy about the music playing in all the new releases. It’s too hard for her to focus and learn…looking for button to shut it off.
My 4 year old daughter has completely fallen in love with science thanks in large part to Tappity and the host Haley. Haley does such a wonderful job talking to the child audience rather than talking down to them. She’s a great role model for getting young girls excited about STEM. There’s also weekly live experiments with Haley and they’re always adding new content. The trivia is something we play every evening after dinner. The amount of content you get for the subscription price is astounding. Highly recommended. The only one problem we have... we don’t have enough time in the day for all the experiments our daughter wants to do after being inspired by what she learned with Haley! This app is highly recommended if you’re trying to ignite your child’s curiosity and get them excited about STEM.
If your looking for a learning app this app is perfect I downloaded this app and when first started the app I could not stop playing it I think this app is the best perfect app ever when you first star the app you don’t even need to sign in it’s free you don’t need to buy any thing you can play the app learn and you don’t need to sign in it’s free super fun really get this app if you want to learn and have fun when I first starded I was thinking this was a game but it’s really not you learn but you also get to have super much fun kids will think that this is a game but really it’s not if you want to learn download this app it’s great and fun and plus at least you can really learn something hope you will like it if you do get in joy if you did get it
I am so happy that I have found this app for my kids! A friended recommended it to me as an “interactive game about science” so I let my almost four year olds give it a try. IT’S SO MUCH MORE THAN I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR! It’s super educational but it’s done a really brilliant way to keep the kids engaged. They love interacting with the app, and they think they’re playing a game but the app is teaching them so much (lots of info even Mom and Dad don’t know)! So now when Mommy needs to keep the boys distracted, I no longer have to feel guilty just letting them watch cartoons on Netflix. I just open up the Tappity app, they are immediately engaged with educational content, and I can do what I need to do guilt free ;)
I just Love this app because well it’s so interesting and well it’s just fun and it has so much of these interesting things that I enjoy playing but sometimes this can be a little hard and I need a membership to do free stuff but even though, I start over, it is so fun I give it a five stars it is the best game I ever have ever played in my whole life because well this is the first educational game I ever downloaded so I just you know love it. I think this is the first educational game I ever downloaded on my phone since I got it on my birthday it was the best game ever since so I am writing this review and it’s just great.) actually I don’t like it, I Love it
Got this app and thought it was nice but kept getting stuck. Contacted customer support took a while for them to respond but once they did they went above and beyond! I mean way more than i would’ve expected to determine the cause and fix the issue. Few days later a new issue, again they did more than i even feel was necessary. The app itself i like but the dedication from the CSR is why i will be using this app from now on. My son loves the videos and is enjoying learning.
Our kids love the app. The videos are fun and engaging and cover a HUGE variety of science topics from mechanical engineering to the digestive science to the solar system. The app also invites children to participate and do projects along with the hosts. The app is great at keeping us, the parents, up to date on progress of our kids. I have looked around for a goof science app that would be engaging for my 5 year old and this one threads the needle well between fun, engaging, and interesting for our kids.
