Minor technical update.
Loved it so much. This game was pure fun and enjoyment, with many moments of laughter and delight. The artwork is amazing and so very appealing. It’s not like their other games or like the more usual escape game type of puzzles, but there’s sooooo much that you can do and try and explore and the results are often pure joy. Hats off the to dev for thinking thru every possible outcome with a myriad of variables! To all the people who say it’s too short: did you find all the 45 possible achievements in 10 minutes? Probably not. If you think this is just a game to beat and escape from, you’re off base. This is a world to live in for a while and discover all the things you can do, and all the fun you can have. It’s a beautiful creation, Aminita!

Thank you for spending time making these and for sharing your silly creativity, and your ridiculously delightful sound design(!!!) which is always a shot STRAIGHT to my heart <3 Keep it up, we’ll be here for it! xoxo This one’s a bite sized game I wished I could, in one go, explore every interaction of—and really, when does your phone keep a smile plastered on your face for a good hour or two? For those of you who enjoyed this and just wished it was longer/had more interaction puzzles, I highly, highly recommend samorost 3 which still stands as the most beautiful and delightful game I’ve seen/heard <3
I was in 3rd grade in 1978, and I remember the teacher bringing our class to the library and seating us on the floor. They turned on a VHS tape of The Hobbit by Rankin & Bass. This is the first time I have had that feeling since that movie. This game was flawlessly executed, it has outstanding artwork, the voice work was hilarious and charming, the music was great, and the mechanics were perfect. The idea of everything being cards was genius. You felt immersed, and the game didn’t do what so many do for the iPhone - make the controls and text so tiny, you can’t play. It was perfect because there was no need for text. Great job Devs!!!
I love Amanita’s stuff, and this is basically a mini ten minute adventure. Worth the $2 purchase for the full version just as a thank you tip for a cute playable experience. Speaking as a point and click creator, don’t expect a lot of puzzle logic, most of it is “try random things until you see what works”, but puzzles have enough alternate solutions that you’ll stumble on one of them before it becomes annoying. I had to leave the game for a walkthrough a couple of times with the devil and granny’s stories. I couldn’t see playing through again after the first victory, just deleted it. Overall visually beautiful, charming atmosphere, and a fun few minutes.
I’m a big Machinarium fan, that’s was our family game. Almost every single family member played or at least participated that’s was like 2015. All the games made by Amanita Design are so good and special. I really love Pilgrims, it’s small, but very funny and interesting story. I really like the concept of choices, you can complete the game in different ways, and reach some result. I would recommend it for the enjoyers of such games.
I already have all of the achievements and already have played the whole game when it was in Apple Arcade so all of my data was still saved when I played this one and it told me that I had to buy half of the game even though my data was saved and have all achievements.
Hi, I love your game. I first played it when I was younger and now I want to play it again on my phone. I have achievements I could not get if I did not buy the game, but it is not restoring my purchases. Pls help!// thank you devs for answering you are right, I used to have Apple Arcade. Maby I can convince my mom to get the app for me lol!
I just got all the achievements, and the game was great and was definitely worth the money I spent on it. The achievements were pretty funny, and it felt gratifying to get them. The only thing that could make the game better was if it were longer.
