Really enjoyable

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say this is the best timed crossword puzzle known to humankind. Oh, you’ll think, I am soooo clever for solving these puzzles! These puzzles are so fun and easy! I am an invincible champion! And then on the next one you will find your heart racing as the countdown clock ticks down to nothing and your win streak goes up in flames. Simple. Delightful. Would give additional stars if that were possible.

Too often misspellings or incorrect facts

Update: I’m uninstalling this app because it’s no longer fun. The fact that the timer is fixed and that I’ve encountered too many misleading or strange clues and misspellings. It’s Terre Haute, folks. It’s not “Terra” Haute as I encountered today. Don’t suggest changing the timer setting. There is none. I checked. Finally, it often freezes between puzzles. … … Original: On the whole, the puzzles are quite entertaining. I like the app very much but please change the timer from a fixed time to just a basic timer like the NYT mini has. Or, an option to set our own timer. Like the subject says, occasionally there is a spelling error or an incorrect fact. (Are your editors basing this on UK English?) By the way, Q-tips are not only a name brand but not medically recommended for cleaning ears (look it up).

Better

I had trouble with this app after using it a few years. The changes made to it resulted in my not be able to review puzzle before I reviewed it. I guess I was pressing the wrong ‘button’. Once I received an email from app created, which was VERY prompt after my negative review, I learned to press the correct ‘button’ , which allows me to review. I like having two puzzles to solve each day also.

Great service

We have played this game a while and had a nice streak going when the program developed a bug and wouldn’t let us in. Streak gone. We reached out to the developers and they told us how to fix our problem and we are back going strong. We are now up to 351 days straight solving the puzzle. Great way to end the day.

Game now restarted

The app stopped working this past weekend and it has been very frustrating and I left feedback on their site. They have now updated their app and the puzzles are back and my days played streak has been restored. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game and I am glad they have got it working again.

Game Stopped?

I have a streak of 688 days. This app still sends me notifications at 9pm every night saying there’s a new crossword to play. However, I think the developers have stopped this app’s updates. It feels like a divorce. I would play one every single night for almost two years now. I miss it. I yearn for the crosswords. My heart aches.

Super fun daily mini crossword! Love this app!!

I like that it’s timed and that I get to compete against myself. I had some friends download it and we play against each other now too. My longest streak was 9 days and I look forward to when the puzzle comes out at night to try to get back to it. Def recommend!

App doesn’t work anymore

I have been playing this game daily for months. Since last Sunday (June 8, 2025) it no longer gives you a daily puzzle. It just says today’s crossword will be available at 9 pm. I’ve checked at 9 and there is no puzzle. It used to let you go back and play missed days. Now the calendar doesn’t let you do anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still has this problem. It’s too bad because I really enjoyed the daily crosswords. Please push out an update to fix this problem. Thanks!
