The game features a unique 3D lighting engine that makes every jewel shimmer and react as you move your device. With hundreds of hand-crafted designs and a soothing orchestral soundtrack, it offers a deeply meditative and visually spectacular way to express your creativity and unwind.

Our Expert Score

87/100

Jewel Coloring is easily the most beautiful coloring game on the App Store. Most 'color by number' apps feel a bit flat, but the 3D depth and shimmer of the jewels in this title are truly mesmerizing. There is a genuine sense of 'crafting' as you place each individual stone, and the finished products are genuinely pretty enough to want to share.

The 'zen' factor here is high. The sounds of clinking gems and the soft music create a perfect environment for destressing. It’s a very polished app with no lag, which is impressive given the complex lighting effects. For anyone who enjoys digital art but wants something a little more luxurious and visually stimulating than a standard coloring book, Jewel Coloring is a sparkling gem of an app.

Great Game to Relax
Thu Jul 02 2026 LucyInTheSky64

I rarely write reviews for apps, but this one is excellent and truly deserves the 5-star rating. I’ll keep the review short and sweet; there are many levels of varying difficulties available for free, the gameplay in the app is exactly the same as what you see in the ads for it, and while there are ads in the game, they are few and do not interrupt you in the middle of a level. This last point is what I think really separates this app from most mobile games. Other games would spam the user with ads every time they place a gem just to make a quick buck, but this developer understands the value of retaining players with a genuinely fun and free game that is supported by reasonably placed and appropriately timed ads. My only complaint is that with recent updates, the gems don’t move the same way when you remove them from the board as when you place them on the board. When you place gems, they have to be connected (next to each other or diagonally) within the same area or path, otherwise the gems stop moving. However, when you take gems off the board, the AI just chooses whichever gems are near each other even if they are not connected at all. The seemingly random selection of which gems get moved is not an added level of challenge to the game, but rather an annoying change that makes gameplay more frustrating and less relaxing. Fixing this issue and making gem removal follow the same logic as placing gems on the board would really elevate this game and cement its 5-star status.

Fantastic game

This is game is a perfect way to relax or take a quick break. The ui is very intuitive and it’s basically impossible to get stuck as long as you are willing to keep playing. I love that ads don’t interrupt my gameplay. There are ads in between levels but I find them to relatively reasonably placed and timed. I will say that I have run into a glitch where my extra items suddenly disappear but I wasn’t planning on using them much anyway so it’s not a big deal. The battery drain is mid to low for modern mobile games and it doesn’t make my phone hot. Gotta appreciate a modern day app developer that prioritizes user experience and functionality To the developers: I want to say both thank you and please stay true to the minimalistic nature of the app currently. So many games start out great but get overrun by buyable add ons and useless expansions that slow down processing speed and overwhelm the relaxing nature of this game.

Three stars for insistence of wanting to track device
Mon May 04 2026 Loser_Brain

I’m near levels 180+ so my experience with the game is quite good if not decent compared to new players. Playing the game first, in my experience if memory serves right, once you reach about level 26 or 27 that is when the ads keeps coming in after each level is finish. After a bit, either after level 40 or level 50 the ads stops a bit, allowing the player a break from constant ads. But it does come back again. Reasoning I’m now writing a review is because I got a popup about allowing the game to track my device to have more personalized ads. In tiny font, barely able to read it clearly, there is a No Thanks button below the bright large button saying next in continuing agreement of allowing the game to track your device. If memory serves right again, the game already asked me this question near the beginning of the game but in more of the default apple popup instead of the custom looking one. The game is good and relaxing. Some of the pictures have me wondering if it is ai generated. But other then that, relaxing game. Ads are annoying and the last straw in making me write this ads was the custom popup about asking to track my device for more personalized ads and making it hard to reject it by hiding it in tiny gray font while the agreement button was large, bright, and colorful.

LOVED THIS GAME until glitch

I am literally obsessed with this game. Been playing it basically non-stop since I downloaded it. I know that you have to reach level 50 before the daily challenges open up to you, which I have. I’m on level 100 something. But about a week ago, the app just stopped letting me play the daily challenges at all. The green “play” button is lit up, it even lets me click it, but then nothing happens. I saw on here that this has happened to a bunch of other people as well. I’d appreciate it if you guys could fix this glitch, as it was my favorite aspect of the game. I’ve considered deleting the app, and starting all over (really would rather not have to do this) especially since I’m not even sure if that would even fix the issue. Hope you guys can straighten this out, as you are by far the best version of this game out there.

I never write reviews but you guys deserve it!

I hadn’t downloaded the game because I saw it had very little reviews and i figured it probably was just one of those ad black holes that you can barely enjoy the game. Then I actually took the time to read the reviews and saw it wasn’t necessarily the case and gave it a try. I never write reviews but they deserve it, for the simple fact that they are not greedy at all about the ads, completely fair, every once in a while. Never in the middle of gameplay. It is truly appreciated. Main suggestion: include haptics for those of us who don’t tend to play with the volume on so we can get more satisfaction from completing the levels without annoying those around us. Also, I would really love sparklier jewels 😇 Great job guys! Thank you for the fun, satisfying game.

Fun Game…But Likely Secretly Tracking You
Wed Jun 17 2026 Sun_Reviews

Listen, I love this game it’s fun and there’s barely anything out there like it, however I’ve noticed it seems to SIGNIFICANTLY slow down any device it’s installed on, not just well your using it but also well your off it. Well my phone works good enough that it was barely noticeable when I installed this on my old laptop it’s functioning started to significantly decrease. I uninstalled it and it went back to how it used to be. I didn’t even have the app open. It must be running some sort of script in the background to track various things you do on your device, location etc to sell to ad company’s. Super creepy. Don’t play this if you want privacy or y’know a working computer. If your device can stand a lot then it’ll probably be fine but your battery might drain quicker. Maybe it’s because I didn’t get too far on the game itself but I found the ads to be unobtrusive. Still pretty disappointed in the game for tracking, guess I gotta play its competitor lol.

Fun but has issue
Sun May 31 2026 KNDYGRM

So over all I like the app, But there are a few pretty big issue. First the colors. There are a lot of colors that are super close to other colors. It makes it’s really hard to tell if you need to use dark blue or black for example (there is 3-4 more color pairs that are super close too). Next issue the app crashes or freezes a lot. I seem to have to close and reopen frequently. I have to say I was disappointed, the app looked AMAZING in the ad I download from but the real thing looks super basic. It could use a dark mode though. That being said Overall I like the app, . Good points : can continually play without hearts or coin or points. You start out with one row to move gems in but as you clear each color gem you get 3 extra slots. That is truly amazing! I have played a few other like this and this one is the best so far.

nice

i think it's a relaxing game, however, though i haven't got very far, there's a lack of content really. i believe more sound variants or ways to switch up the sounds would be nice. i personally appreciate that the game doesn't blast you with ads while you're attempting to solve the puzzle. most people would complain about an ad right after finishing a level, but it's better than most games where you get ads WHILE you're attempting to do the puzzle. one thing i don't really understand is most of the art. are the images ai? sometimes i know what they're supposed to be, but some colors are just really out of place and linework too. if that happens to be ai, i don't appreciate that. you don't need ai to create simple pixel art. anyway, it's alright. it's enough of a good time killer.
