Remember to make a wish on DECEMBER 25th to get a special guaranteed limited reward!
Also, fixed a bunch of things:
• Added a warning when trashing the ONLY copy of a companion you have, properly informing you that you'll lose their bonus if you do trash them while also helping prevent accidental trashing of final copies.
• Fixed a rare issue regarding Winter Candle not visually letting some players buy their pity Riptide when they reached pity.
• The new Material Bags from Anvil VII now visually show up in your "Storage Info" section above your player stats.
• Fixed an issue where endgame Sneaking Nunchaku would say "infinity" damage around the 10e100 mark. This no longer happens and they display their proper damage value.
• Fixed an issue with Divinity Kattlekruk not giving his daily bubble LVs to a small subset of players in certain circumstanes some of the time.
• Fixed an issue regarding the "DING! Free Ticket!" system for leaving IdleOn running being stuck for some users, shown by needing 6 trillion hours for the next free ticket. For these users, not only have I fixed getting new free tickets every 24hrs you leave IdleOn running, but I am also giving all the free tickets you missed out on the last few weeks because of this bug! You'll see what I mean when you login, you'll get LOTS of dings! So if you were worried you'd be permanently without the free tickets other players got to have, worry not, you'll catch up instantly! Merry giftmas!
• Nova Blasts from elixirs (that includes the Spelunker Shop Upgrade that causes blasts when using any elixir) now disables the Escape Rope from appearing within the first 4*N depths. For example, if you trigger 10 blasts from elixirs, the Escape Rope will not appear until at least Depth 40
• Fixed a mobile overflow regarding Statues - specifically the displayed requirement to level up a statue.
This is indie.. made by one person.. that being said.. you can tell that they kinda just did whatever they wanted to in regards to the game. Most of it is great. Some of it is not so great. The game in the tutorial FORCES you to create a new character so they can idle and mine, woodcut, craft etc. while your main actually plays the game… sounds good right???… No.. You still have to log in and manage these individual characters to level them up, get them the proper gear, and move their stuff to the stash in town. All of this tediousness just takes away from the game imo… instead of having new characters to manage why not just add minion workers that you can manage from a single character??? Ones that you can just pay coins to and unlock as you progress that will mine and put stuff in the stash automatically??? Or can assign to forge or craft??? Because as you get to higher levels you are expected to manage 5+ characters all doing different things and switch between them… just switching and running around takes so much time… again I don’t understand why the creator didn’t just add minions or a menu to do idle stuff from a single character to take away the switching/managing of multiple characters as such a chore
I am once again floored by the capability of an indie developer. I keep wanting to write an essay about how great it is, but I’ll try to keep this short. Pros -The multi-character system is compelling and surprisingly well balanced. -Maps are places you return to and have secrets to discover. -Bosses have defining features outside of health bars and art style. -Dungeons have their own stats and equipment so new players are equally welcome in raids. -The text and dialogue is entertaining while being suitable for a casual game. The humor is satyrical, self-aware, punny, and peppered with gamer jokes. -NPCs are memorable. -Purchasable upgrades are accessible through regular progress and feel like normal upgrades. -Quality of life features that I wish more developers used (some are earned through quests, but nothing has felt unreasonable) Cons -It’s easy to find a group for the first dungeon because it is incentivized, but the others feel like ghost towns. -While typical of the genre it is a little overburdened by mechanics. -Alchemy feels almost unnecessary. -The constellations were fun to find but would feel more worthwhile as a permanent bonus. -The pinballs could be a little more interactive. -The skill mini-games could use a practice mode so I can play them for kicks and not be limited to five times a day. -If I can only earn an achievement on steam, I don’t want to see it on IOS.
I usually HATE idle games. The hells the point of a game if you’re not meant to actually play it?? But I’ve been playing Idleon for over a year and it is fantastic. There’s a ton to do actively, but making progress while you’re offline just feels good with this game. I’ve played for several hours at one time and I’ve spent 5 minutes on it. No matter when I get on and what I do when I play, there’s always something to do so you’re not just sitting there waiting for whatever resources you’re trying to farm. Another great thing is the premium currency, I’ve bought a couple packs to support LAVA but I’ve gotten almost as many gems just playing the game that I got from paying for them. I’d say the dev is super fair with his distribution of gems in the game and as such it really doesn’t have a super pay to win feel. There’s pay for convenience, but the only pay to win he has is time skip candy and you can only get so many in a day so even there your progress is slowed so you can’t just buy a ton of time on day one and rocket to end game. All in all, a very enjoyable game. Oh, and thanks for bringing it to ios LAVA, Its been great being able to play it on the go.
First of all. I only knew about this game because of a youtuber RealCivilEngineer. Thanks RCE. Secondly. This game doesn’t make you feel pressured into paying money to stay competitive. However… would be nice if the developer would add the option to watch an ad for time candy. Let’s say one ad is worth a 4 hour time candy. That way the developer gets some more income from the game. And hey. We will get 4 hours worth of loot in exchange for watching an ad…. I wouldn’t even be able to complain about the ads at that point since it would be worth watching em. Don’t think anyone would complain about ads if they were getting a boost like that from them. Thirdly. Because you have multiple characters on here. There is always something to do… at least most of the time….😅 As you get up in the levels it takes longer to gain EXP. So there will be points in the game where you are stuck waiting. Maybe the Dev should add something to help pass the time?
Stumbled upon this game about two or three months ago and I haven’t put it down since. I tend to play phone games to pass time at school and had been jumping from game to game; playing a few weeks then dropping the game because of a lack of love from the devs (and slightly because I have the attention span of a goldfish). That was, until I found this game, I’ve put countless hours into it and enjoyed every moment of it. From the artwork and animations, to the goofy quests, and the treasure hunts, there’s no way you’ll run out of things to do in this game. If you’re familiar with Steam, where this game originated, and you know of the awards they give out every year; this game hands down is most deserving of the Labor of Love award. Thank you Lava for your hard work, and continuing to provide as much effort as you have to pump out updates that ALWAYS add some sort of new feature whether it be quality of life or a completely new feature. 🖤
I’ve been a whale in a hand full of idle games this one takes the cake cause you actually don’t have to spend a dime. Single dev making this game and actually listens to the community the community draw a map and the dev runs with it. It’s all voted on by the team if something needs work he works on it. He streams making the game for anyone that would like to learn how he is doing it and he gives out rewards and free gems for those free to play gamers out there looking for the edge. The discord is a great way to get information from your friendly idleon community, also the wiki is well up to date. Can’t find a flaw whenever there is give it a week and he’s figured it out how to balance something or improve quality of life. Finally the game makes it to iOS so those hard core gamers on pc don’t always have to be at there pc to manage there team.
Unlike any game ever played, while the fighting is not the most enjoyable experience and won’t be anything like most games today, what Idleon offers outside of combat is so strong that it has kept me hooked since the day I picked it up. Idleon is a game for those that favor playing every character a game has to offer, being able to see how they operate, and utilizing them to help out your other available characters. On top Idleon has a great many ways to improve your characters and as you travel these start to stack crazy fast bringing you from the start dealing 1-5 damage to the end dealing 100mil damage and beyond! If your the type that enjoys seeing progress and building a strong unit, this game is 100% for you! From a beginners stand point the game also doesn’t throw too much at you at one time. As you make your way through the worlds you unlock more parts of the game and can really learn them at that time, so you are never overloaded on info. On top there are no mistakes, everything you do can trickle down later and some things are even reversible.
I've played a lot of idle games and this is by far one of my favorites because we can set up multiple characters. Just passed a year playing and there have been so many updates in the past year I never get bored! The game is free and admittedly I've bought every event pack in the game(and want more) but it's possible to get the important parts of what is purchaseable with enough hard work which is always a plus! Lava live streams a lot to give out stuff and is fun to watch plus he takes player feedback seriously which is definitely positive. Community on discord is involved enough that we managed to stay on r/place till the end(still remember Billjackpepper, hope to see him again soon) and is definitely worth it to interact with! But I've already recommended it to everyone I know and have a couple others hooked so Id definitely recommend!
