Idle Five is a surprisingly addictive sports management sim that distills the complexities of basketball into a fast-paced idle format. The loop of recruiting players, upgrading their stats, and watching them dominate the court is very satisfying. Unlike some idle games that feel like a chore, the progression here feels steady and meaningful.

The social aspect of joining a 'city' and competing against others adds a layer of depth that keeps you coming back daily. The graphics are vibrant and the player cards are well-designed. While it does have the typical free-to-play monetization, it's generous enough that you can build a championship-winning team with patience and smart management.

Love the game but ran into an issue

Hello, I recently downloaded your game Idle Five and I’ve been enjoying playing it but I have experienced an issue with my game that has halted all of my progress. I bought level 3 of the income upgrade to get x7 but after I bought it my income went from getting 1-2 aa from my players to getting 10-20 T from them which is not enough to even upgrade a single player for at least a week just for 100 levels. I want to continue playing but this has made it impossible to do that on a daily basis seeing as though I can’t upgrade my players to beat the next boss for at least a month. If I could get some sort of assistance with this I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for your time!

This game is pretty good for the most part. if you don’t have vip there still really isn’t much ads, but if you have vip you’re still going to need to watch ads for lack of money and all that. The most disappointing thing about this game would be the no online interaction. When i first downloaded the game i saw my “team rank” was obviously at the end and i thought “wow i get to play with real people that’s cool” but it’s not. Also the “value” of the players doesn’t matter like at all! you could have all gold and still get absolutely destroyed by a team with all common players and barely and stars; so that was also disappointing. they give out a pretty good deal for the vip, and if you truly enjoy the game and want to get somewhere in it, i would totally recommend the vip and it’s only 5$ one time unlike other games that charge monthly. The different packs that they sell for like gems or a ton of money can rack up a bill fs. it would also improve the game if you could customize your own players and put their own names and stuff, but other than that i recommend the game.

Very fun and entertaining game. One of the few games i’ve found it worth to buy the $5 VIP, especially since it’s only a one time payment. I am having problems upgrading to higher rarity players sometimes, as it can take very long to randomly get the signing tokens needed to unlock high level players. One of the biggest improvements that I would suggest is some kind of trade-in system. A way to trade in lower level signing tokens for some of the higher level ones, even at a steep price. It could also be done for the ability cards. Other than that, it just starts to take too long to increase team level to match opponents once you get decently far into the game. The difference in the next teams level gets much larger for every opponent. Good game and I will continue to play, but could use a few improvements to make it great.

I enjoy playing the game, and there are some fun features that keep you wanting to do more (matches and abilities are fun, upgrading your players). I also like that you can play on and offline, so you don’t have to stop progress if you can’t access the internet. However there are a few bugs that have personally made me hit a wall that haven’t been addressed: - my HQ hasn’t been generating any gold bars or club coins for a week now…I thought it was because I was upgrading it, but I haven’t received anything, making it hard to progress in the game - my “contact us” button is also broken, it doesn’t allow me to contact anyone about the issue. If those were fixed and addressed I think I would be more likely to play the game more; otherwise, a good game to play on and offline to kill time so far.

Originally, I thought this game was a five star. There was no doubt in my mind that this was one of the better sport idle games. The frustrating thing over the past few weeks is the cost of in game modifications. Everything has been inflated so drastically that it is almost impossible to play at this point. I purchased the VIP day one. Now when I look at the value that purchase compared to the inflation of the market of the game, it’s almost unplayable. If something doesn’t happen within the next couple days to week, I believe I will quit the game. It’s very frustrating because I look forward to playing it every day. There’s so much more that I can say but as of right now just understand that the inflation in the game is so drastic that it is almost impossible to get a legendary player at this point without spending about $20 or $30. You can get a rare player that’s just as good if not but unfortunately, that will run you about $10 worth of in game supplies.

This is a great game but please can you creators fix these things. First, My game most of the time crashes and when it crashes in a game I lose my energy and I have to spend gold to get 10 energy back. Next, Can you make it where you can have like 65 energy because you can only play 2 champion teams and then you have to buy more energy. Lastly, can you please make it to where you can trade skill tokens for gold or money because I have almost 2000 taunt skill tokens and they are useless because I have 4 epic players and one rare. So please can you make those 3 things happen? Still I like this game. Please do those 3 things so other people can enjoy this as much as I do. Thank you!

Please make an auto upgrade button for VIP members.

It’s very annoying to have to click on each and every player card to upgrade them. It would make things so much easier. Another thing is having to spend energy to go back and get all the other stars in the previous levels that you’ve already beaten. Another suggestion would be if a player doesn’t have enough items to hire a new basketball player that it should show them and how to get them. One more thing is you should make quests and stuff to earn those items that get you farther into the game like the items for hiring new basketball players. Just a thought. If you’d like more ideas from me just reply to this review and I’ll send you an email. Thank you.

Decent to start then quickly hit pay wall and just boring

Game was fun for first week, then you hit a pay wall where you literally can’t advance (beat teams) unless you pay or wait ridiculously long times to log in for coins and tokens type things you need to upgrade. I even paid the one time $5 thinking that would make difference to be a VIP, but at level 99 and have to log in every day get some coins and tokens then nothing as you can’t beat teams in front of you and can’t go back to play old teams for any tokens. So basically the game is log in 2-3 times a day every day get free tokens and then log off. After a few days you should be able to upgrade a player or two and maybe beat one more team in front of you. Then again go 2-3 days doing the same. Game is becoming super boring and ready to delete.
