Favorite Cozy Mobile Game!! However, some important requests to make it better…
Thu Jan 08 2026 Laurenelia12

Let me just say, accuracy is super important to me (although I’ve never worked as a barista) so I love that they had people working as baristas to make this game accurately. I love that I can steam the milk and make latte art, and my absolute favorite is being able to make the special drinks with many different syrups and toppings! I feel like it really helps make it realistic. However, I’m very shocked that neither caramel syrup or matcha powder is included in this game as they’re extremely popular in coffee shops. I hope you guys will add those flavors soon!! Especially because caramel lattes are my go to to get. Finally, most coffee shops have baked goods that you can buy. I know it’d be a lot if, as a barista in this game, you’d have to make the baked goods in addition to the coffee, so since some coffee shops have some pre-made baked goods, so I think it’d be really fun and accurate to real life coffee shops if you included a shelf full of baked goods. I feel like all the barista would need to do is press a button to restock a certain kind of baked goods once it runs out, similar to the coffee grounds when they run out. I think it’d be cool to have to make cold brew every couple days or so too, as that’s something coffee shops also serve, but that’s probably the least priority haha. Anyway, seriously though, one of my favorite mobile games ever!!!

I think MAX should probably like the Player.

As can see the title, I think that the In game NPC max should like the player, I have some reasons, I’ve been seeing a LOT of comments and videos saying that the game would be alt more interesting if there was some drama going on more often, now, I love this game, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, it’s fun and enjoyable to play, the creators really did put their effort into this and I thank you for that, but, I would suggest for this game to be played more often or more LIKELY that it would be just a tiny tiny bit more interesting, I’m not saying that the game is boring, I just think in my opinion it would be so fun to actually play the game while having some drama and action in the game WHILE making coffee, it would be more interesting in my opinion, also, I think that the whole max liking the player thing, would be a GREAT way for a ad, that would definitely help you make more people download it since you have put more drama and action INTO the game, not sure if this is a great idea for the kids and underage people on this game, but I feel like it you didn’t make a inappropriate, then it would be amazing! like a normal average love couple, not sure if anyone will agree to this but I just decided to state my thoughts and opinions including for some other people as well, get back to me as soon as you can no rush! - Averie

def needs more work but i’d recommend!!

I’m a huge fan of good pizza, great pizza so when they announced they were releasing a coffee version of the game (me being the barista I am) I was beyond excited and the game, so far, hasn’t disappointed! Of course there are minor changes that could be made & bugs do appear consistently but personally, this game has much potential and I wouldn’t mind updating the game frequently to follow it’s development. I do have to say though, earning pizza gems is much harder than it should be, you can only get 1 a day from quests and they are fairly pricey in the shop. On top of that, when starting the game, we aren’t really given instructions on how to play or how to assemble certain recipes. For example, to know each latte needs 4 pumps of syrup, you have to go back and read the recipe book carefully (time during the day also still passes while reading the recipes). Also, I did find the shop decorations a bit underwhelming, I wish we had more color options, I’m not a huge fan of the color green so the fact that most of the decorations are green is kind of annoying. Though I haven’t run into any issues regarding the stamina, I usually don’t run out and the only way you can is if you play 12 days straight, no breaks. Overall I’d say this game is definitely a 4.7!!

Decent game but doesn’t compare to Original

This game is alright, and yes, this review does bring up comparisons with the original Good Pizza Great Pizza. This game is quite tedious and repetitive, it's hard to level up. Doing the quests is the only available way to get you a lot of exp points, you can only level up faster by doing the quests daily. The individual exp you get from playing a day isn’t much, and the storyline does take a while to get to progress. I wished this game wouldn’t give us levels we had to progress, it actually makes the game even more tedious than it already is. In Good Pizza Great Pizza we never had levels you had to get to in order to unlock a storyline, you just had to keep playing for a while, and it was much easier to get cash in that game than it is for this one. There’s also not much creativity in this game than I originally hoped for, I wanted customers to be able to have their own crazy coffee inventions and we as the player can interpret what the customer wanted, even if the order was tricky because that’s what make the Good Pizza Great Pizza has a charm that this game lacks. Also, there isn't anything particularly challenging or exciting even in the storyline, but it’s decent enough to get three stars from me because it’s not bad. I would argue that a lot of people were looking forward to this game, but it doesn’t come without criticism and hope for improvement. I also would like to add that this game does seem uncooked, imo.

Really enjoying this game but..

this game is great, i like it better than gpgp! however the ads got get the gem currency is weird. the ad will technically end but it has that little wait time till you can click the second (and sometimes a third) x but the game will start up in the background. by the time i get back to the game my first customer has already ordered and their happiness is at 85-70% which is honestly a turnoff for me. the only way to upgrade the coffee machines are those gem currency and you don’t exactly get much from just playing the game. so the only way to get some is the ads and they’re making my gameplay kinda fail. another thing, the controls are a bit weird (if that’s what you can call them for mobile games) i often mean to swipe to go to the syrups back to milk and grab something like the thing that has the coffee grinds in them or the cups and it also messes with my time (which i don’t think matters too much unless there is a quest for it but it kinda just throws me off). i’m not sure if there is anything that can be done about it but i thought i’d mention it. other than the mentioned above, i do very much enjoy the game. it’s quite satisfying and calming but the things i mentioned sometimes ruin the good things about the game. it’s not that deep tho and i will probably keep playing but i hope something can be done to fix them or limit the chances of it happening.

I’m having so many issues

I really want to love this game but…it’s moving way too fast for me to just be on my first few in-game days. I can’t even get a grasp on it without customers getting mad but that’s only the first issue. I’ve had system issues where I was going through a normal in-game day and I made the entire drink, put it up for the customer and my screen did not go back to the customer. I assumed I had to make a second drain so I did. By this point I’m at 29% with the customer and when I finish the second drink, the game will not allow me to serve it. I had to completely exit out of the game there clearly was an issue with it accepting the orders and not bypassing me back to the customer. The major issue I have is screen clutter. Why in the world has the option to trash an order moved to the bottom of the screen?! This is extremely frustrating. The amount of times I’ve accidentally trashed a drink because it’s too close to the bottom of the screen is annoying! I think the optics could be way better. It is not moving nearly as smooth as GPGP. Maybe there was a rush to get the game out? I really want to love this but compared to GPGP it’s not up to par. So many frustrating little details that ruin the experience and make playing unenjoyable. I didn’t play more than 20 minutes the first day it came out because I was so irritated by the game play. I’m trying to give it a chance but this is just not the game I thought it was going to be.

Sad

I played Good Pizza, Great Pizza when it first came out. It was a perfect game because it wasn’t filled with micro transactions. It was my favorite. But of course after gaining popularity it got taken over by micro transactions. I remember being able to buy kitchen upgrades with the money I earned in game, now it needs diamonds. Though at least I was able to play it endlessly, I still enjoyed it. Only for a little till I got tired of the pushing to spend real money. It’s a mobile game, and a basic one at that. I don’t mind seeing micro transactions till it starts effecting the game. Which I watched you slowly go down that path, and now you’re right on it. I’ve been so excited for this game, and I am disappointed. I don’t know what I was expecting lol. You’ve added “energy”, giving a limit to playtime. It costs 10 energy, but you give the option to watch an ad for 5 energy. So two ads for a short in game day. Your game has pop up ads. I click continue, passing on the option to watch an ad for ten whole in game dollars just to get an ad in the end. What a lost treasure of a game company. Your art style has been so satisfying for me for years but now I don’t care for it now that greed has bled through. There’s heavy inspiration from Papa’s games, and at least they charge a single price to access the whole game. You could’ve been something great, but in the end you are just like the other greedy mobile game companies, no longer unique. ⭐️

SO CUUUUTEE

I’ve been waiting for this come to come into the App Store since the start of February. It looked so cuuute so I waited till then. And I’m finally getting to play it now AND IT’S SO CUUUTE LOL LIKE I DUNNO WHAT ELSE TO SAY 😭 AND IT’S FUN, OF COURSE🥹 I’ve been searching for a cute simple coffee game and this one is it. I’m so happy to be the one to leave a review first hehe anyway, please try this game out. It’s very nice and cute. Any coffee luver would luv a game like this<3 Edit: I’m on day 64. I’ve been playing this game literally whenever I get free time. It’s so addicting. I really like how they are no unnecessary ads and it just gets straight to the game. Ads is such a big thing because obviously so many games have such unnecessary ads but this game doesn’t. It’s only to earn a gem. It’s fun making the drinks too and I enjoy the little background story going on. The ONLY things I’d say about this game (and it isn’t a complaint, I’m just saying) when I watch an ad for the gem, the game starts in the background before I can exit out the ad. Another thing is, it would be nice to add something more to the game. I luv the game the way it is right now but it would be nice to have something new or added. Like some coffee games have a level where you unlock customers in the seating are. But yeah, other than that, luv the game<3
