Courtyard Trading Cards is less of a 'game' and more of a financial revolution for collectors. The concept of owning high-value physical assets that are secured in a vault but tradable digitally is a game-changer. I was skeptical at first, but the high-resolution 3D scans provide more detail than you could see with the naked eye, allowing you to inspect every corner of a Gem Mint 10 Charizard before you buy.
The integration with Brink’s for security and the transparency of the blockchain records provide a peace of mind that eBay simply cannot match. It removes the 'fear of shipping' from high-end trading. Being able to buy a card at 2 PM and sell it at 3 PM without it ever leaving the vault is the efficiency the hobby has been waiting for. It’s essential for any serious TCG investor.

Before listing a card, use the app's 'Vault-In' service. You ship your card to their experts who grade, photograph, and secure it for digital trade.
Browse thousands of cards. Use the price tracker to see historical data and make informed bids on rare collectibles.
Yes, all cards are stored in Brink's high-security vaults and are fully insured.
I made a stupid mistake by cancelling my card which made me lose the card without any compensation or card. I thought I just lost out on a $199 pack (psa 10 only pack) and it was a gold pikachu that was worth over $300. You can guess how mad I was and to be honest had no faith in getting the card or compensation. But tryna to get to the point I emailed and this great associate named Leah responded over the weekend and forwarded it to her team which within a day they gave me the option to ship the card or give me compensation. I immediately took my card and was really happy and really appreciated how fast they were and how they really didn’t just blow me under the rug. I deleted my other app (rips by triumpth) which honestly i used that more but then i hit a point where i got no hits so i jus moved and all this happened and this jus made me not wanna use any other platform. So I promised a good review because I really didn’t believe it would happen so I wanna repay in some way.
I was unsure of this app. I saw some of y’all saying this was a scam but I took a leap of faith. I recently obtained all cards that I redeemed. They’re in good condition and packaged very well. Yes this app is more of a gamble in the sense you don’t know if you’ll break even, go positive or lose some money. Regardless, I got lucky and won’t be returning to the app, unless I get some extra free money due to the fact that I have bad luck lol. It’s your choice to pay for that pack what you get isn’t on your side ultimately but it is fair in the sense you’re guaranteed to get something. I do know they do make some money though on the shipping costs. But think about it, how else would they make money on people like me if they were just giving thousands of dollars worth of cards away. $7 for shipping isn’t terrible but if you put multiple in the same redeem order you save some money. Anyways, good luck to you all and don’t lose all your money lol.
I’ve been using Courtyard for a few years now and largely the results have been positive, or, at least the self-custody and auditability of the contracts is something competitors either make little effort in promoting or is entirely a gimmick. However, this is an odd way to release the mobile version. I’m glad that the recognition that not everyone does everything on their iPhone (I don’t even have one, Mac/iPad/Android mutt here), but it’s almost unusable since the size of the screen is liliputian. and at release one cannot login through oauth on the Mac. Even stranger, the app is half-native and half-webview. Without warning some button would bring you into a browser window where auth needs to be done again. This makes little sense. The native half adds no new discernible features and feels like a PoC. I thought after Yearn we aren’t building in public anymore, especially since I suspect more users are not crypto-natives like me who switched to crypto as my primary currency in 2017 and have long waited for a crypto native way to engage in the hobby.
I collected in the mid 80’s and stopped in 1990. Started back in 2015 and stopped again in 2020 when CoVid hit. I enjoyed it when I came back to the hobby but CoVid brought out WAY TOO MANY crooks, thieves, and scammers. I’ve only recently came back to collecting roughly 8 months ago. I stumbled upon this on my laptop and gave it a shot. I thought it was the coolest concept that you could get in this industry. (At least for those of us who want our PC looking nice and verified authentic. BUT…. the address thing is a hassle, and I personally think the S&H for your cards is way too high. Otherwise I would’ve given it a 5 star.
I’ve spent over 20 thousand dollars on here. And have been enjoying the experience of the app. However on several of my purchase attempts, it’ll say transaction declined, or unable to process. They still charged my bank account and told me the transactions were voided and will disappear from the bank statement. The transactions posted and were not refunded. I reached out to support numerous times. And I haven’t so much as gotten a response. After spending so much money with a company you’d think they’d wanna do the right thing. It’s unethical and wrong to ignore a consumer you’ve wronged. Especially on over 1500$ of product that was given to me, and was never actually voided like you originally promised me. The app itself is awesome, but their support and payment service is horrible. I’m now out 1500 plus dollars and can’t so much as get a response from them after multiple of reaching of and wanting to find a good solution.
Hopefully you decide to go with Arena Club or one of the other various apps that offer the exact same service. Customer service won’t reply to messages on the app or emails in general. They also will immediately sell you something that someone else just sold to them, back to back to back. Recycling that card or pack from person to person making a killing along the way and never actually selling the item. Once you finally get something you like “Processing” may take up to 16 days, even though they say 10 max. Then by the time you actually get your collectible the value has gone down because the time it took to get it. Overall I’ve spent quite a bit of money and have gotten very little in return. I would advise to never use this app. Hopefully this review reaches someone and helps before they spam fake reviews and bury this one.
I was under the impression that if I buy a $50 pack that I would get a card worth roughly $35-45, no it gave me a card on my first try worth $26. Immediately robbed of the potential for me to be a reoccurring customer that would definitely come back. Nope, it was a complete scam, 50% of the money I deposited gone in an instant. So at that point I’m like “let’s buy another one” for $25 cause I already lost half my money, I buy the $25 pack and it gives me a $9 card. I know these apps need to make money and have to profit somehow, but that was just complete robbery. Do not participate in this buying things from this app if you’re okay with paying $50 for a a graded garbage bulk card worth absolutely nothing. Maybe you will get lucky and get a good card, but at that point you’re just gambling. 0/5 stars if I could. Careful with this app seriously.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of using the Courtyard app, and I must say, I am thoroughly disappointed. The app is incredibly slow and glitchy, making even the simplest tasks tedious. One of the most alarming issues I've faced is the constant failure to process payments. I repeatedly attempted to complete transactions, only to be met with error messages and delays. This wasted my time and left me feeling insecure about my financial information. Given these persistent problems, I have decided to stop using Courtyard. The combination of a sluggish interface and unreliable payment processing is simply unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I can rely on a smoother and more efficient experience. I hope they can address these issues in the future, but for now, I’m done.
