REPLAY THE GAME
Wed Jan 15 2025 <=abster=>

the game is really fun, the different stories and characters keep it from getting repetitive but someone needs to go back through, play the game and recheck the clues. there are some clues that will lead you to a brick wall and there are some clues that are completely incorrect. level 140 one of the clues is “all females without female row mates are criminals” but there was two that were criminals and two that were innocent. so it wasn’t “all” the females. there’s a level closer to the beginning that gave you only 4 clues then you had to guess the rest. also the clue that uses the crossing of two columns is so confusing. I still have yet to understand what that means. really good game and I defiantly enjoy playing it could just use some minor fixes!

Amazing game, but I have a few recommendations

I rarely ever leave reviews on apps, especially games, but I just have a few things to say about this game. I downloaded this game probably 2-3 days ago from an ad and I actually love it and haven’t stopped playing it. I love puzzle games that actually make you use your brain. This game doesn’t bombard you with ads, like most other mobile games today, and that’s very refreshing. I just have a few things that I think need improvement. 1. Some of the clues that you get from the people are wrong sometimes, for example, instead of saying row, it’ll say column. These mistakes aren’t frequent, but I have noticed it due to it happening more than once. 2. There isn’t a reset button for the levels. This is the main reason I’m writing this review. Sometimes I mess up and I just want to restart, but there’s no possible way to do so without just clicking on random people until you’ve used up all three “lives”. Even when closing it the app and restarting the game, you still continue where you left off. I wouldn’t absolutely love a reset button for the levels where I can wipe the board clean and start from the beginning. And to be fair, the “quit” button does not do that. Like I previously said, this is a great game and I adore it so far, but I would give it 5/5 stars if there was a reset button programmed into the levels.

Crazy clues

Forget the never ending ads and only two wrong guesses before having to watch more ads. I can put up with that if the clues were accurate. For example: there were 2 innocents and 2 left to uncover in row 4. The clue was “the criminals in row 4 are below innocents.” Although I hadn’t uncovered row 3’s innocents, the word criminals is plural. Since there were only 2 that can be criminals I selected them. Nope, only one was a criminal. Also, the wording on some clues: “the paired empties” or “the paired blondes”. How do you know they’re paired if they’re not next to each other? Would love to know if anyone wants to comment. After making a wrong choice I do go back and reread to see where I messed up. About 2/3 of the bad choices were my fault for rushing through and not analyzing correctly, but the rest were inaccurate clues. Btw- I pity the person who said this game is for an IQ of 50 or less. I have a “superior” IQ and find it challenging. Since you are obviously a genius are you smart enough to know how many readers rolled their eyes when they read that? That was a ridiculous comment. Keep it real.

!!!Hey Creators of this App!!!

I absolutely love the gameplay; however, I cannot put up with the amount of ads that plague this app. Furthermore, the amount you request to get rid of ads is much higher than other games, and quite frankly a bit ridiculous. The crazy thing is, I would have paid for it, if it wasn’t for this one ad that keeps popping up (an ad for the game Crazy 8’s) that you cannot close out of… at all - which causes me to have to close out of the app completely and reopen it to get back to the gameplay. So, now I fear that if I pay for the ads to be removed that the ads will pop up regardless. Maybe if the cost of the ad removal was lower I would have risked it, but at that price, accompanied by the fact that once I pay for the ad removal it is only temporary! No thank you! Just about every single one of your reviews mentions, in one way or another, the same thing about the ads that pop up in this app. May you please do something about it?

This needs to be fixed for better play

In the game, a person will say something along the lines of “the person in the bottom left corner has a clue for you”— this is very misleading and a bad make in the game because as a player, you would think the bottom left means the bottom left of all the players in the box (NOT literally the bottom left of your screen). Especially since in the game, the terms “bottom left” or “top right” are often used in the game to describe the players in the box, it’s weird when all of a sudden that term is being used to describe the corner of your actual screen instead of the players. My suggestion would be to change the wording to “There’s a witness (or use their name) at the bottom left of your SCREEN who has a clue for you!” You might even use a description like, “The girl with the dark curly hair” to help with that confusion. Otherwise, the game is pretty cool.

No logic after a certain point
Mon Mar 31 2025 Not Joe either

Like other reviews, I agree that after you reach certain levels you are not provided sufficient clues to be able to apply logic or deductive reasoning and you end up guessing, which if you are like me you end up choosing wrong. So, after you use up all your free witnesses and free answers you have to sit through multiple/repetitive ads. I also think there is an AI working in the works saying you made a wrong choice no matter what you select. This means you have to pay money in order to get more clues, or watch more ads, which also earns the company more money. It is a shame. I RARELY write reviews, but as I went from really liking the game to being really frustrated with it, I had to call out the illogical rationale for continuing to play this game and expecting a different outcome. I made painfully through 184, which will also be my last level.

Should be all logic!

Great game so far. But… It is absolutely imperative that a game like this can be solved entirely through logical reasoning. You should never be is a situation where the solution can be ambiguous at any point in the game. You should never have to ask a witness or get a hint because you are legitimately stuck. Yes, sometimes the solutions are hard and take a lot of thinking, but I just played level 288, got to a stuck point, took a screenshot and played it offline. I was able to mark all the necessary criminals and innocents that the exposed clues required and used up the criminal count, but when I went back to the game to play my solution, the first tile I marked was wrong! Ambiguous solution - fail! Fortunately with my screenshot I was able to rebuild my board, mark the tile correctly and play on… with all logic from that point on.

The ads after new update are ridiculous
Mon May 19 2025 some random broke person

The amount of ads you’re forced to watch, even when you fail a level and are just trying to go back to the Home Screen is ridiculous. And I’m not paying $15 every two months for the ad free plan, so that’s ridiculous. After this new update, the clues are also not helpful anymore, so I’m failing more often. Some of the clues also don’t make sense or use the wrong words - whichever translating software devs are using for English needs to be triple checked. Levels are also usually recycled. This was a fun game starting out, but between the update with the wrong language UI being used (showing me Chinese instead of English), forced ads even when you click Let Me Fail and restart the app, and the recycled levels, I’m gonna have to uninstall this. It was fun while it lasted.
