I’ve been playing Brawl Stars for almost two years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best and most addictive mobile games out there. The fast-paced action, creative game modes, and huge variety of brawlers make it super fun to play every day. Even when certain seasons aren’t as exciting, the overall gameplay keeps me coming back. As I’ve improved, I’ve noticed that most of my matches now have real players instead of bots, which makes the game feel way more competitive and satisfying. Clutching a win or working with your team to make the perfect play is such a great feeling. Of course, there are some downsides, like the recent update that removed Mastery rewards, which used to be a big way for me to earn coins. Now it’s harder to progress without grinding or spending money, which can be a little annoying . Some updates feel unnecessary or even make the game worse temporarily, but luckily the fun always comes back. Despite those few issues, the developers usually do a great job keeping things fresh with new content, skins, and events. Whether you’re a casual player or someone who wants to push trophies and rank up, there’s something for everyone. I truly think Brawl Stars is one of the most enjoyable mobile games out right now. If you’re thinking about downloading it, I 100% recommend it—just get ready to get your screen time! :) -Nick Khalsa ( 8th grade, 2025)
Before I played Brawl Stars, my life was painfully normal. I woke up, went to school, did homework, and had absolutely zero idea how to dodge anything coming at me—physical or emotional. My thumbs were weak. My strategy was nonexistent. Chaos defeated me daily. Then one day… Brawl Stars happened. At first, I was terrible. I ran straight into danger like it was calling my name. I lost matches faster than I could say “defeat.” But slowly, something changed. I learned to dodge. I learned timing. I learned that standing still is a crime punishable by instant elimination. Soon, Brawl Stars wasn’t just a game—it was a lifestyle. Gem Grab taught me responsibility. Showdown taught me paranoia. Heist taught me that if you don’t protect what matters, it explodes. I began thinking in supers and cooldowns. Every problem felt like a game mode waiting to be solved. I started applying it to real life. Group projects? Team modes. Tests? High-stakes showdown. Walking down the hallway? Constantly checking angles. My thumbs twitched even when I wasn’t holding my phone. I swear I hear menu music sometimes. Faint… but real. Now I can’t tell if I’m playing Brawl Stars… or if Brawl Stars is playing me. I see strategies everywhere. I whisper “good matchup” under my breath. I flinch when someone says the word “brawl.” Sometimes I wake up convinced I’m one trophy away from greatness. Anyway, great game. Five stars.
The game is ok, but I have some suggestions. 1.Leave a reason why a player is banned. So once I got banned in this game (I figured out after some research) and no info came about being banned. Like at least tell them why. 2. BUFF MYTHIC STARR DROPS!! Every time i get a mythic i get so excited just to get a stupid pin. Like most of the time they are HORRENDOUS. I say remove pins and sprays from mythic starr drops and add only cosmetics and brawlers starting from super rare to mythic. Why leave out rare brawlers? Because they are supposed to be in epic starr drops. I would not like to have a mythic starr drop and just get a mere rare brawler. Like the only good ones are el primo and colt and everyone has them! 3. Lag When I play I always get kicked out for no reason then i come back in the app and when it loads, I’m dead. Fix this bug please. Overall the game is very fun and I love it. Please read. 2 months later: I have some more suggestions. When you have higher and higher trophies with a brawler you lose more and gain less. I think the amount of trophies you lose with a brawler that has a big amount of trophies stay the same, but increase the amount of trophies you get with that brawler that has high trophies. It just seems unfair to have your brawler at lets say… 920 trophies like my spike, and you get like 4th place in the solo showdown. Instead of gaining a mere 4 trophies you should gain 6. Please read.
The matchmaking system is bad. If you get a high rank, such as diamond, you will likely have at least one mythic rank or master rank player. Usually, someone would be max leveled, even if you are playing with a level 1 brawler with 0 trophies that you just got. Please change the matchmaking system to pair with brawlers around the same level and trophies, instead of rank. Second, no one wants to have a legendary or mythic star drop give you a player icon, pin, spray or skin. These things are mostly worthless and I would much rather have an extra 500 power points than another pin that I never use. Also, to all the people who write reviews about their teammates selling, you should just play solo showdown. If players team on you play duels. If you still can’t win that’s a skill issue. Additionally, I feel like you should be able to get more from the trophy road because after a certain point, the rewards drop to almost nothing and the amount of trophies to get to the next reward gets super high. If you make the rewards from trophies higher, It’ll be more fun to play after you finish all your quests and run out of tickets for competitions. Finally, to all the people writing nonsense reviews that never mention anything in brawl stars, just stop because it’s annoying. NOTE TO SUPERCELL: If you give us Ultra Legendary brawlers, at least add Ultra Legendary star drops.
In 2025, technology has allowed for mobile games to reach new heights of graphical fidelity and gameplay intricacy. This being said, Brawlstars takes full advantage of this privilege, having built and improved upon the game for the past several years. The multiplayer aspect and quick gameplay loop which rarely gets old proves to be an amazing time killer— doubly so with friends. While the game is “grindy” in many aspects, it’s easy to get lost in the loop and find yourself enjoying learning new brawlers, maps, and game modes. The ranked system, mastery mechanic, and even the free brawl pass provide more than adequate progression each season which allows for consistent upgrading and a wide array of brawlers to choose from. While there are moments where you feel stuck where you are progression wise, there are so many community events which hand out more than generous amounts of gifts so long as you actively participate. All this being said, it is the single most enjoyable mobile game I’ve experienced, and I find it to be more engaging that many of the PC games I have downloaded. It’s more than worth checking out and getting into, and once you get the ball rolling you’ll find yourself hooked on hitting new trophy PRs. Definitely don’t regret picking this game up on launch all those years ago.
I really love this game, it’s probably one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played, but some things I feel are just annoying and always bug me. 1: Edgar’s super. I dont think that it’s fair and edgar player get to just sit and wait for his super withought doing anything while everyone else is fighting and working their butts off just to get yhe smallest part of ther super circle done. It’s unfair in my opinion and honestly kind of annoying. 2: Gale. Gale is basically untouchable with his super and his attacks slow every brawler down, making them unable to attack him. I use Gale every now and then but it annoys me when I accidentally press my super and it pushes my opponent backwards to the point where I have to chase them to hit them again. 3: Kenji. I think Kenji’s reload speed should be nerfed to a normal speed like most other brawlers. It’s not fair when you are tunning from a Kenji, he uses all of his shots, and you think your good, until, after 0.5 second your dead. His super is also annoying because you can’t even see him, all you see is a fish flying in a random spot, and you don’t know where it’s going to attack. Hey Super Cell, I know a big company like you guys probably won’t read this but if you do please take at least one of these into consideration. -Sincerely A Brawler :)
I created my account back in 2018 through sometime 2019 and played for along time all the way up into 2024 but couldn’t anymore due to switching to iPhone and it not saving it. First off I wanna say that brawl stars is my favorite mobile game and is the most goated mobile game. I purchased a lot of things in the game and was a big grinder. I lost my account back in 2024 because I didn’t have the old phone with the Gmail and we didn’t know the password because I had help making the account because I was younger. I reset the Gmail to the account and it worked and it’s changed I got the confirmation saying welcome back even shows that when I log into the support. Although as I try to load into the game it’s stuck on 92 percent tried several things to try to fix it deleting the cache, deleting, reinstalling the game, trying it on another device didn’t work. It’s frustrating was excited I’d actually be able to play. Brawl stars also doesn’t have as good as support. I wish brawl stars had calling support so I could just call and get it straightened out. Pls fix it if it’s a bug or reach out to give clarification so I can get some answers to why it’s doing that. I even tried hitting log out of all devices that didn’t work either.
Brawl stars is super fun to play with friends but the only problem when you are not playing with friends your playing with randoms. Randoms should have the same trophies and amount of playtime as you. For example I was playing and I got into a lobby with a guy with 100 trophies and I’m 50,000 trophies which just doesn’t make sense. That is like saying oh I’m gonna make you play against a 6 year old instead of your actual age like why does brawl stars make us submit our age because you would think that you would be playing with like with people your age but no your not. Also when you try to avoid randoms like in showdown you play against win traders that all just have meg or kit on and you wound up getting killed in 10th place. But if you’re just a chill guy and doesn’t really care then you shouldn’t play this game cause this game is so toxic with the community yapping about how brawlers are no skill. So brawl stars if you read this review, please make it so that you can ban teamers, actually put people that have the same power level and trophies because it doesn’t make sense if you also ask for our age because no one actually submits that your 12 like me instead they submit 60, and please fix randoms and stop adding no skill brawlers because let’s be real every brawlers that you guys have brought to the game recently is just so annoying like kenji, or shade like bro those brawlers are so annoying to face especially if you play brawl ball.
