Paper.io 2 takes the addictive territory-conquering formula of the original and refines it into a much smoother, more competitive experience. The core loop is deceptively simple: you control a colored block and leave a trail to claim space. The catch is that you are vulnerable while outside your zone; if another player crosses your tail, it's game over. This creates a high-stakes 'risk vs. reward' dynamic where you have to balance aggressive expansion with defensive caution.

What really stands out in this sequel is the improved fluid movement. Unlike the 90-degree turns of the first game, you can now move in any direction, allowing for organic shapes and much more tactical maneuvering. The addition of varied maps, unlockable skins, and daily challenges provides a steady stream of goals that keep you coming back for 'just one more round.' While the advertisements can be a bit frequent in the free version, the gameplay itself remains a masterclass in minimalist mobile design.

Good but I want suggestions

Hi owner this is my favorite game I know l’m a pro I got skills to win at 100% I got a lot of gems to revive like I have 6 hundred gems but I want suggestions my first one is that what if I want to 1v1 someone but that would take long like imagine if you want to 1v1 your friend and you try to go to play button but that’s would take long so my suggestion for this one is called a 1v1 duel you type a user’s name to 1v1 they get a request and they can accept or decline it and if they do then they have to win 5 rounds if they reach 100% size or eilmatine the person ther dueling they get a point first to 5 points win if someone wins they do a little victory dance and shows the stats how many times they got eliminated how many times the player eliminated the player(exact number as points) and shows how ther accuracy was (example if it’s perfect it’s perfect if it’s low it’s low). Second suggestion is the skin changer every time I get a bonus game(when I win) I collect a special crate I get a character and it immediately changes my character into the character I got from the crate I want a button that’s says to keep the character or stay with my current character. Third suggestion is that since l’m a pro I want someone hardcore gameplay named hard mode no revives I only get one chance. That’s all the suggestions please add them in the game.

Listen I understand ads are needed and I can choose to perfectly understand that I could just buy their no ads feature. So what’s the problem? Well for starters I could start with, the amount of advertising can come off as money hungry and downright.. very annoying and makes the game basically unplayable with the ads you get mid game! Not to mention you aren’t even a minute in and you’ve already received an ad which makes gameplay impossible to enjoy without premium. “Just buy the game if you want it that much?” With that being said, mobile games should still be able to offer a decent experience without needing to pay money since it’s free to download; but to basically use the game at all? especially when the mechanics of this game is “cover the entire map” it seems almost entirely impossible, the reason why the ads have become a huge problem is because of how you can die from getting an ad and how annoying it can be mid glide across the floor. Mind you it’s not only is affecting your enjoyment but in which you choose to enjoy the game itself . “So what’s the solution?” Lastly id like to give my thoughts on this and how I would like to give some advice to the team of this game, to start off In order to play a game I think running ads before you enter a game or using a power up will make the player experience much more enjoyable and still work in favor of the devs. But anyways I hope you and your team read this and take my advice and thoughts as to make new improvements.

I play this game often, like I’m literally number 1 in the legendary league so I’m in no way doing anything wrong or confused about what’s happening while I’m playing. There’s some glitches that have come up in the past few weeks. One of the glitches has happened 4-5 times now in the teams challenge. I’ll hit one of the dots and it’ll be in the process of expanding and a member from the opposite color team will come by and be able to take me out. This shouldn’t be happening, when it’s expanding, you are supposed to be protected and they are the ones that are supposed to be eliminated if they touch or get in the area that’s being expanded. Also during the teams challenge, twice now when my team is almost to the needed 51%, our color area has completely disappeared. That’s 100% from a glitch. Also hate how they’ve changed it from the more eliminations, the faster you go to the more eliminations, the bigger you get. By the time you’ve eliminated 10+ during the game, you’re massive and still have another 10+ to eliminate before you finish the map. Also hate how slow you’ve made it to play and while I like the added yellow/blue chests when you complete a map, I dislike the decrease in the amount of gems you can get and how slow you’ve made the character go while collecting. Lastly, I’d love team member rewards/recognition during the blue vs red challenge. Like players with top eliminations, who’s contributed the most percentage to the team, etc. I think that’d be fun to see and might motivate some other team members to try harder.

I love this game, but it has a few issues

I love all of the paper io’s but this one I just loved! But the one problem with it to me is that you have to compete to win a Country and I’m a very competitive person so each time I would get an alert saying that a country was taken over by someone that I took over would make me really mad. And I would worry about it all day just about this game. And it would bother me a lot because I didn’t have that country and I needed that country. To finish that level, and so I wish that they would change that so that you won’t compete against other people and I know that a lot of people love that, but I was just thinking that they should have you do it on your own paste. That you shouldn’t have to worry about it all day about “what if my country gets taken over.” and then have to go back to the game and spend endless hours taking over different countries and making sure no one else does. So I would just like them to change that because I’m a very competitive person and I want to complete every single level. So I don’t wanna have to worry about it and days is a life. And instead of playing this game and worrying about if my country gets taken over, I can just enjoy nature. So I just wish they wouldn’t give you notifications or after each time you die in the game shows you that country has been taken over that you took over first. So I wish that they would let you go to your own paste. So that is my complaint but this game is VERY fun to none competitive people! I love this games but I had to delete it just because of that 😭

OK, it’s OK but like sometimes it’s so laggy and I don’t really like that and it like I go to like Christian heritage and they have so much better service and they play games. Don’t let me change the subject about this game. I get this game about 4 1/2 stars, so I don’t really like it so laggy too many ads so don’t download it and you should actually check out a new game it is called Block Blast!. I would review for that one and I said I loved it so and my name is you better write a review and think what you think of my review and I’ll read your review and see what you say. You should try a Block Blast! now this is going to be a long review so there is some games that cost money so these are the games so don’t get Donna AI they’re lying it cost money you’ll get to do one song and I think this game is better then Donna AI in the game that shows you what you’re gonna look like when you get older that game is bad too cause it literally cost 55 bucks for 80 bucks for a person to get their fan so don’t get that game on your phone it says that if you’re lying, it has a beep don’t get that either. It cost money and there’s a game that is like you press the button and you speak into it and then it says dog language and understand what you’re saying don’t get any of these. They are horrible and I’m sorry about this wrong review. Sorry to waste your time.

(And yes, I do know how this sounds) So, I know that ads make the game free, but there are sooo many! Hear me out though: ads every time you die. Ads for break time (So if you press No, Thanks you still get an ad😢). But if you’re just starting out and you have a 💵 🌲 then buy NO ADS for $9.99 💵💵💵. Other than ads, (which if you use iPad it lags on game and ad, but not on iPhone) it’s a great game, you should consider downloading it, because it’s free! (I wonder why… 😂) For the Editors: First of all, I hope you take this as constructive criticism and not just criticism. You have made an amazing game with great graphics, and as stated above, yes, I do understand that ads make the game free, but maybe consider putting ads only on currency multipliers and boosters, but not in the middle of the game? I do agree that there should be a break time, but if I press no thanks, I still have to watch an ad. And, I have a current glitch that it wants me to complete the world but making me go back to United States 🇺🇸. Also, the flag count says the number of countries I colored, but out of zero. I’m just downloading the app. The adds say it’s fun and the reviews look good. Think I’ll enjoy it. But the first thing I’ll do is name myself Thor. I hope the hack works, because I feel like everyone will have one and if I don’t….anyway, will write more once I play. (Several minutes later) Okay did the first round. Little disappointed, I typed ‘Thor ‘ as my name but sadly the hack doesn’t work anymore because it gave me a hammer skin, not Thor. And when I played I was going against normal people, not enemies of Thor. But otherwise,so far, the games okay . I just wish the hack would have worked. Kinda wanted the hammer. There are a few to many adds. It kind of makes it not fun. The adds are after and in the games every time. I always only last 2 sec, yet the moment I exit the game. I’m blasted with an add. The add takes 1min or more to finish. Then, I’m about to hit ‘play’, and it says I can get 5x bigger by watching an add. Cool, but no thanks. So I hit ‘play,’ and it blasts me with an add,even though I dint hit 5x bigger and I dint get 5x bigger. The adds are so annoying and take away the fun. Honestly, your watching adds more often then your actually playing the game. I’m going to get red of the app tomorrow. Unless you like adds,don’t get. For your own fun. (Only 5 stars so u could see).

*Please Read* Hi! I think this game is VERY addictive and fun to play. I like how you can change your skins, how it (mostly) saves your score, and just the game itself. I think many people can agree with that. However, there are a few things I wish you would change. For example, the game NEVER updates. It can make the game boring, and less players will want to download this. I also think that there are a LOT of bugs, and the developers need to take charge. For instance, a very COMMON glitch is when suddenly out of nowhere, all of your land disappears. Then, someone kills you when your at a really high score. Glitches can occur in any game, but out of ALL the games I played, this one has the most bugs. Also, it’s TOTALLY normal, and I’m not saying this is the only game that does it, but there are a lot of ads. I am aware you have a no ads feature, but if you want more people to play the game, at least cut down a few ads. There is ONE LAST THING that NEEDS to change. The age rating. This game is CLEARLY not a 12+. Considering my GRANDMOTHER watches my FOUR YEAR OLD brother play it, the age rating is unreasonable. When I told my friend about it, she showed her mother, and her mom said no to getting the app, because of the age rating. There is LITERALLY no reason for this age rating. Overall, this game is fun, addicting, and ALL of my friends and family play it. You just need to fix a few things. I would TOTALLY recommend this app!
