Minor fixes and improvements
Alien Morgue is a brilliant, macabre mix of 'Papers, Please' and 'Strange Horticulture.' It takes a mundane (if gross) job and wraps it in a compelling sci-fi mystery that keeps you hooked. The act of dissecting aliens is handled with just the right amount of clinical detachment and sci-fi wonder. Some of the races you encounter are genuinely creative, and figuring out their unique biological quirks is like solving a mini-puzzle every time.
But the real heart of the game is the writing. The world-building around the idea of 'renting' immortality capsules is chilling and sets a perfect tone for your moral dilemmas. Do you steal an item from a body to pay for your own spouse's chance at revival, or do you follow the rules? The UI is fantastic, making you feel like you're actually sitting at a futuristic desk filing reports. It’s a slow-burn experience that rewards attention to detail and empathy. If you like simulation games that make you feel like a small part of a much larger, darker world, Alien Morgue is a must-play.
Unique sci-fi medical simulation with detailed alien physiology.
Deep narrative with 9 distinct endings based on your choices.
Morally complex decision-making: follow protocol or help others?
Atmospheric 2D art style and immersive UI.
25-day story campaign with evolving challenges.
Use the database to compare physiological features like skin texture, number of eyes, and internal organ structure to correctly identify the species. Look for subtle signs of trauma or poisoning to determine the cause of death. Getting the ID right is the first step to unlocking the more lucrative (and risky) choices.
Gameplay involves using various tools to examine bodies. You'll need to read reports, follow protocols, and decide what to do with 'weird stuff' found during procedures. Your success earns you credits, which are vital for your own survival in the game's world.
Yes, there are 9 different endings based on how you handle your cases and who you choose to help throughout the story.
I love the story for this, but I cannot figure out the race system at all, there needs to be more to identifying that than what it gives you. It also feels impossible for me to identify what the “vital organs” even are by just the pictures that look nothing like anything so I haven’t been able to progress past the part where that’s introduced
I absolutely love this game. It was so fun while also being a challenge for me (something i rarely enjoy). I was a little concerned by the other ratings, but I didn’t have any problems. The directions are clear and easy to look back at, so any confusion I had didnt last long. Definitely recommend playing!!! <333
This game is fun and each stage there are new goals and challenges. Each level does not care about the time so you can do it at your own pace. I would buy the game for sure I just need to get a job first. Anyways, I experienced no technical difficulties on mobile and the demo did provide a lot of gameplay.
I don’t ever wright reviews but this game seems so fun and it’s such a good concept! Which is why I gave three stars, Sadly though when I go to open the app nothing happens, it just closes right away. I really hope you guys fix it soon!<3
It feels like the demo is unfinished or something because nothing makes sense. On day two I’m getting errors for “damage condition” without any explanation of what that means. The race identifier is just as broken or confusing. One of the messages says that the database will tell me what body parts are vital but I can’t find that info either. I would love to like this game; it’s a unique and intriguing concept.
I bought and beat this game in 2 days. I don't regret buying it at all but I do regret that it's over already. Please consider adding an infinity mode (with random bodies) per day; that would really improve replay value
Idk why but it’s showing me to pick up and drag the tool from the top right and the tool will not move. It will highlight/pop out of place and then goes back to how it was when I interact with it a second time. I’m dragging it and it’s not moving at all. Just downloaded this today so not sure what’s up with that.
This game is so goated its crazy good I tried the free version and it let's you play up to 8 days One day I will be getting the full game cause it seems so worth it!!!
