Our Expert Score

85/100

This version of Solitaire is an absolute masterclass in clean, minimalist design and smooth functionality. It completely respects the legacy of the original card game by keeping things entirely free from distracting visual clutter, choosing instead to focus all its efforts on perfect touch responsiveness and legibility.

The customization options are a fantastic touch, letting you tweak everything from large, high-visibility card text to elegant classic green felt backgrounds. The card-shuffling animations feel fast and satisfying, and the automated card movement on a double-tap makes playing on a small touch screen a breeze.

It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, nor does it need to. It is exactly what you want out of a classic card app—reliable, fast to load, and perfectly optimized for both brief casual breaks and lengthy sessions of focused puzzle-solving.

FINGER ARTS is the VERY BEST SOLITAIRE!
Fri Jun 30 2017 2muchHAIR

I've been using this specific game of Solitaire, by Finger Arts, since 2009. I'm so often addicted to playing it for an hour or more. Of course I can't spend too much playing the game, but if I have free time I love playing this game of Solitaire. From time to time I've been offered to play "For Free" another company's game of Solitaire. So I've tried many other apps of another Solitaire game. Not one of these other games come close to the perfection that Finger Arts has. The ease of use, the beautiful options to choose your own background, the style & color of the of playing cards, all of the choices you are offered are so far above and beyond any, game in my experience, that other game of Solitaire. I often play just 2 games when I get up in the morning. I think it wakes my mind to be more alert and thinking clearly. Seriously, that's how much fun but challenging this game of Solitaire is. It's my wake up for my groggy brain. So I don't drink coffee anymore.

Great program, could use some new oomph

It’s just solitaire, but it’s probably about the best version out there. Excellent graphics, reliable, with three levels of difficulty to add some spice. I’ve been playing it for years now, usually the first iPad game I turn to when I just want to relax. Since I’ve been playing so long, I’d love to see some new options for card style and background, etc. Other than that, I’ll probably be playing this to my grave!

Good game
Mon Dec 16 2019 I'm much better now

Fun to play. I like the stats. One con is when playing a card from the pile the default is to move it to the bank and not the field. The other is sometimes the logic doesn’t consider all the possible moves and gives a “no more plays” warning. But I’ve learned how to work around that and look for more options before giving up. The “hard” setting rewards with most points.

Best Solitaire I've ever played!!!

I've played several different solitaire games. I consider this one to be the best. I enjoy the numerous options players can set -- card design, table color & other game settings. My favorite feature is that you can choose from 3 levels of difficulty. Most of the time I choose EASY as I just want the satisfaction of winning. However I occasionally want a challenge and I have that option. I highly recommend this game.

Stop the Clock!
Fri Dec 08 2017 pmint patty

I play this so often that it really annoys me that the clock does not stop when you hit the auto-complete button. Playing against your own record, it seems you can hardly improve on the time with this built-in handicap. This is the same comment I gave the last time, so it must not bother anyone else. BUT IT STILL DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! Just added this onto my last rating of the game, PLEASE can you fix this?

Good but needs to be better

Every shuffle/redeal has a good chance of looking a lot like the one before. They are winnable, but you get tired of NEVER getting a card you can be put in play without going thru the deck at least one or more times. I enjoy playing Solitaire - if t didn’t, I would not play yours. I would get a program that would shuffle more like a deck of cards.

Some glitches

This is great for mindless playing, though I have never understood some of the rankings after you win a game. I get the time aspect, but some of the other numbers, I have no idea what they mean, and where to find what they mean. Also, sometimes it tells you by the yellow triangle that you've lost, but there are other moves you can make to actually WIN the game

Disappointed

Played the other version for years… Then figured I’d just buy it and support the company. Bad idea! No multi player anymore, which was fun in its own way. Point is by buying it, I lost more than I gained so I’ll delete it and play the original version. Still got ads, but I think there’s a version without ads that you can purchase. There’s hope because Mobility Ware does make the best. Until they don’t.
