Stability improvements and bug fixes for a more reliable experience.
Yatzy Ultimate is a very polished digital version of the classic dice game. The UI is the standout feature here—it’s clean, modern, and makes the scorecard easy to manage, which is where many other Yahtzee clones fail.
The multiplayer integration is smooth, allowing for quick matchmaking without long wait times. I also enjoy the 'Triple' mode, which adds a layer of long-term strategy that the standard game lacks. It’s the perfect digital companion for anyone who loves the sound of rolling dice but doesn't want to chase them across the floor.

Always try to secure the 'Upper Section' bonus (63+ points) early. It often makes the difference between winning and losing in close matches.
Join real-time matches against other players. Use the chat feature to send quick reactions during the game.
It's a mode where you play three columns simultaneously, with multipliers of x1, x2, and x3 for each.
This game is great fun, and playing against people all over the world provides great challenges. There are a few issues I have with the latest version: 1. The AI for some reason doesn’t choose straights when they are rolled. I only play on the “hard” setting during training games. So I can’t really train effectively when I can count on that mistake being made. 2. The CPU utilization on my iPhone 13 Pro with latest iOS as of this writing is very high (>60% according to my monitoring app) whenever the app is open or running in the background. My phone always gets warm, and my battery drains quickly. This is the only app on my phone that runs at that level constantly. 3. The online games appear to be matching me with what seems like AI “players.” The tip off is that their pacing is all the same, they are all highly predictable, and they all have simple names that most of us couldn’t get when we choose our own user names. I wonder if the number of available players shown on the Home Screen is anywhere close to accurate. 4. Like others, I have reason to question the random number algorithm for rolling the dice. The biggest tip off for me is that rolling a yatzy seems much more likely in online games than bet games.
The chat feature is good except for the fact that it isn’t offered in the play and wait games. These are the friends I want to chat with the most but the app won’t allow it. Love the app otherwise and use it everyday
After looking through the app, I found that nearby mode is still available but you need to have an account before you see the option. Once you sign into your account, you will see a Bluetooth icon under your profile in the upper left-hand corner. Once you click on that, it’ll search for a nearby players. I’m so glad I found this because I love this game and didn’t want to give up on it.
I love playing this form of Yatzy but the maker’s system and app support leave much to be desired. My entire player profile memory disappeared several days ago and I was started over from scratch. My logins through Facebook still work but nearly 10 year history of credits, friends, win/losses/ties etc, has been lost. I sent a message through this channel regarding the issue a couple of days ago but have not received any response. Similar issues have happened before and were equally frustrating. If I do not hear anything from them within the next couple of days, it will be time to part ways.
Ever since the new update a couple of poor changes are now part of the game. First, the rolls are ridiculously slow to the point you can watch the dice roll and count numbers. Second, when you are playing the computer, the choices it now makes are just stupid. Not taking a straight to taking one die of a number. I want a challenge when I play. Yes nice to win, but rather earn it. And no special tables anymore, 2 stars cause was good
Nice there’s no ads. I just wish I could play in real life, as this is all computerized playing as a guest. Playing years ago, I actually got 3 Yahtzee in just one game. It’s rare, but certainly possible. I’ll try playing with another player next. Addictive game, too.
I play many other online games and this is the only that disconnects during a game. So I lose the game even when there is no possible way for the opponent to beat me. I have commented before about cheats or hacks to the game. I know that it is happening because I had someone tell me to f’ off in the chat and I don’t have anyone friended so that wasn’t it. Please improve your game and fix the issues. Thanks
All of a sudden the app freezes then crashes after the opening screen. This is happening on both iPhone and iPad. Even with the current iOS update, the apps don’t respond. This is the absolute best Yahtzee game out there, and it’s a shame this has happened to it. Hope it can get fixed.
