Beat Stage - Battle Duel is a high-energy rhythm game that fans of 'Friday Night Funkin' and 'Project Sekai' will immediately feel at home with. The core gameplay is tight and responsive, which is non-negotiable for a music title. What I found most surprising was the game's generosity—you can earn thousands of gems in just an hour of play, making the cosmetic-based economy feel very fair compared to other free-to-play rhythm titles.
The addition of 'mod songs' and a massive, continuously updated library of tracks keeps the experience fresh. The difficulty range is well-calibrated, offering everything from accessible tracks for beginners to finger-twisting challenges for veterans. While the ads between songs can be a bit of a mood-killer, the quality of the music and the accuracy of the hit-judgment system make it one of the better rhythm games on the App Store. It’s a fun, community-driven battle duel that genuinely tests your sense of beat.
Large library of songs updated regularly
Multiple difficulty settings for all skill levels
High-quality music and responsive hit detection
Competitive score-attack gameplay
Fair, non-pay-to-win cosmetic system
Don't just watch the icons—listen to the beat. The hit-judgment is synced perfectly to the percussion. Mastering 'Perfect' hits on long notes is the key to building high-score combos and climbing the leaderboards.
Notes travel down the screen towards a judgment line. Players must tap, hold, or swipe in time with the music. Success earns gems which can be used to unlock new songs and cosmetic skins for your characters.
Yes, you can purchase a VIP Pass to unlock more songs and a 'Remove Pop-up Ad' option for a smoother experience.
I don’t like when times up because it like stops you while playing
It’s 10$ I know but for a triple a games worth it those complainers out there are playing on low end hardware if you want to have fun ps4 30fps experience at the least iPhone 12 13 anything below that you won’t have fun graphics wise. Update: was getting 80-90 fps on my 16 pro maxing everything out except shadows and grass kept at high it’s 65-70fps. The 17 pro same settings gets 120 fps and tearing cause fps it too high gladly appreciate it if there could be a fps limit and turning up all to max does fix it however battery drains faster. Or maybe possibly even more graphics settings.
I have low cellular data usage enabled on my iphone and this totally bypassed any permissions on first startup and used 700mb. I was on wifi it dropped signal for only a few seconds watching my connection in control center when it dropped WiFi I immediately closed the game. In the few seconds it was using my data (without permission) it ate almost a 1gig of service… how did it manage this??? Not sure & not happy. On apples ios end it sure is absurd that games need be launched first not connected to wifi for the data off toggle option to appear in ios cellular settings. However on the games end absolutely no reason for it to have used 700mb in the brief moments my wifi was down.
I got this try and buy. I wanted to see what the mobile experience would be like it only let me play for maybe an hour and then I couldn’t do anything without buying the game but the game is $10 and I don’t wanna spend that kind of money on a video game. If they drop the price a little bit then maybe I would. Graphics are insane and so are the crash physics great game.
Games subpar at best, took forever to download, when it finally did download it requires you to download 21 additional files before you get to load into the actual game. Those took forever as well fyi. The game has decent mechanics at best and on top of all that you get a free trial for about 30 minutes of playing before everything gets put behind 10 dollar paywall. Don’t bother
My favorite game to play with a controller. On iPhone 17 Pro, with low texture quality, it runs buttery smooth at 60 FPS. It’s the most impressive AAA experience I’ve had on a phone. Job well done by the devs. Highly recommended and well worth the $10.
It’s a good game but it would be 1000 times better if I could play the game for free without paying. The graphics and crashing of the game are awesome and well done but like I said, it would be better to make the game for free
Tried to download this to see if I wanted to buy the actual version, I can’t even get this game to start and play, keeps telling me to “download and install missing assets” then keeps telling it has a problem, been trying for two days now..
