Don’t get the money you should

I paid so I don’t have to deal with ads. Been playing this awhile and love the game but most the time the bonus words (that should give you 40 coins) it makes sounds and changes the numbers (to look like it is increasing) but most the time it ends at the exact same number and doesn’t add any coins or just adds a few. It’s annoying that I make the bonus words and don’t actually get my payout. Also the spin game I always get 70. Every freaking time. Don’t even put the bigger numbers on there if they aren’t attainable. After one board, I got a special present. .tapped the present, it made noise and flashed the numbers only to go to the exact same amount I already had. Otherwise I love the game…just feel cheated.

Word Maker ads

Word Maker is fun in the beginning. But around level 150 it starts using foreign language words. The most annoying thing is that every few minutes it interrupts the game with 30 second ads. It’s alright to see an ad after you complete a level. 5 and 15 seconds ads are okay but I just shut down the game when the 30 second ads come on frequently. I finally deleted the game from my phone as it was getting to be unbearable.

Deceptive Advertising

One day I updated the game and suddenly discovered that all my progress was gone. I had played for a long time and had a lot of coins. Now I have to start over, from level 1. However, after investigating, I discovered that this game and its publisher have been using deceptive advertising tactics to trick players in other games. They trick players by creating an advertisement that looks like a notification requesting an update. Players mistakenly think their game needs updating, so they click on the ad and download this game. And of course, they have to start over if they don't realize they've been tricked. After discovering this, I immediately deleted the game and found the old game I was playing. Luckily, everything was still the same.

False advertising!

I downloaded a game that promised no ADS. It was a fun , engaging game for “senior” , which I am. I am 79 years old. After playing the game one day, I discover that you say “Download new version “. I had no choice. When I did so I found that the format had changed, my score was back to zero, and worst of all there were ADS after each completion of a round . Since I was starting a new game from zero, each round lasted but a few seconds and the ADthat was not supposed to exist popped up and lasted approximately 30-60 seconds. I have no desire to watch and listen to ADS once a minute, at best , and so I will not , that is why I will NOT play your game anymore. If I am promised NO ADS , I expect NO ADS.

Why change for the sake of change? Updates ruined it.

The game was great, I played on my iPad for hours. Annoying ads, of course but, only in between the rounds. Unfortunately, the game called for an “update” so I complied, (like I had a choice). All the points I had accumulated were gone. Not to mention the ads popping up in the middle of the round? Are you joking? Deleted, from iPad. Continued on my iPhone that had not yet been messed up by the required update and here we go again, I couldn’t void it. Now there is a new and separate tab. That’s not an update! Did I mention it has me starting off and preschool level AGAIN and all pints lost AGAIN.

Bad. Really bad.

As I said, bad with a capital B-A-D. In fact, the only thing that good about it is that it has prizes and it’s relaxing. And it just ends there. One reason is that sometimes it’s really slow and some of the letters that I put turn black and it scares me. Some of them, I just have to connect it with another word and it turns white again. Others… they just stay black until I complete the level. And the ads! AGAIN WITH THE ADS 😡🤬(I hate the ads) Just please PLEASE fix it. If you fix it I will give a better rating. Thank you. 🙏😊 I would really appreciate it. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗🏳️‍🌈

There is a problem

You are “ asking “ me if I want to start a new version of Daily Crossword. You ask “ yes “ or “no”, When I say “ no” they immediately start me with a totally different game. It’s not even a crossword game puzzle. What are you people doing. I have no alternatives but to stop the Daily Crossword which I really enjoyed. You need to be more Customer friendly and let them play what they want to play. I’m sure no one will get back to me but I’m hoping others learn from this post. Listen to your customers. We do not want to change. Period! Are you listening. I’ve received nothing as a response from my last post.

Disappointing

I’ve had this game since August of 2023. It was fun while you could compete. It’s just another generic word game. Not a thing is extra special and never was. Now that I can no longer compete with other players, I have no use for it. I have plenty of word games that are more interesting. I even have one that I’ve never been able to compete on, but it’s challenging and interesting. I’m done and dumping this. It’s their game. I’ll just move along to my more interesting word games. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I have over 101,000 coins to use on it too, but it’s boring.
