What Do You Get For The Money?

Let me start by saying this game is fun. Let me finish by saying that this game is frustrating. We all know what we consider fun. Let me tell you what I consider frustrating. 1) The developers of this game don’t respond to frequently occurring issues like players not being able to connect into the game. Their response? It must be your internet. BS. We have chat rooms in which our clans chat...all have the same problem...can’t connect into the game. Why is this an issue? Because despite the claim that this is a free game...it most certainly is not. We purchase items that have limited time use. When servers are down the clock continues and our purchase is wasted. This happens FREQUENTLY. 2) Glitches within the game...twitchy aim, shots missing despite point range, spawn within a building, and many more. 3) Response to complaints go unanswered for weeks and sometimes never. I myself have 2 unanswered complaints that are close to a month old. I could go on and on but it wouldn’t matter. What matters is that the developers of this game have no respect for the paying customers. I have one simple expectation...I should get what I pay for. Here, sadly, I don’t.

Greedy Developers

Really fun game when you start out but once you reach certain ranks you start to face off against opponents with stronger tanks and using customization. You are forced to purchase coins/diamonds in order to buy a stronger tank, upgrades or customization. Trying to collect coins/diamonds is not going to cut it when upgrades cost so much. In order to be competitive at all you have to run customization on your tank or you will be lucky to obtain a couple of kills. I have a strong tank but if I don’t spend 2200+ diamonds for 5 days of customization I will be killed easily by opponents. Just no way to compete. And of course purchases are extremely expensive. You will spend several hundred dollars if not thousands if you get addicted to the game and want to compete. And of course as you progress in rank to the general level you start to face opponents that are superior even though you have a strong tank. The matchups become extremely unfair and the developers are obviously trying to get you to spend money to upgrade your tank. Even if I purchase diamonds/coins for $99 it is still not enough to get me one upgrade since it now costs me so much to complete one upgrade. I am done spending money and when I deplete my current coins/diamonds I will find a new game or create a new account and play for free until I am not competitive anymore. Don’t get roped into this game unless you are willing to spend a lot of money down the road.

Good game but could get very expensive

Great game if you’re a casual gamer who is content to play for just 10-15 minutes at a time (3-4 matches). It is possible to progress nicely but slowly without spending real money but you gotta be very patient. If you’re willing to stay with tier 1 tanks, you may be able to play decently with just pure skills for a while. Remember, once you get higher tier tanks, you’ll need more diamonds to buy special ammo, thus you will be tempted to spend money for those diamonds and coins. Regular ammo are still free but quite useless in higher tiers. Tip to newbies: stick to the free tank and keep upgrading before getting a new one. Upgrade your new tank before using in battle. NOW: If you like playing for hours with the best tanks and ammo and power ups and customizations be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars. Suggestions for the developer: At least make those coins convertible to diamonds or better yet just make it a single currency. Limit the effect of customizations and improve match-ups (4 fully customized tanks vs regular tanks= plain massacre). Don’t be too greedy, be nice to your paying customers.

I owe you cause I got refund?

Purchased 3 bundles at $2.99, game shorted me 7 hours on the bundle so I sought a refund, filed a claim with war machines as well as my Apple Pay and I was refunded the $8.97 I spent, so I logged into my account and found there was 1,297 diamonds missing, 400 were mine and my account was now negative -997, zendesk explained that the bundle I purchased was worth way more than I paid and because I filed a claim that I was going to have to clear my account of the negative coins, but this will cost me $40+, huh? Because I was refunded the $2.99 x 3. So for a total refund of $8.97 it was going to cost me $40+ to get diamonds back to the positive side, could not play the game nothing. Zendesk said that because of the refund they have to take back what the value was of the item I purchased, even though I only received 90 diamonds x 3. And it was an error with the game, not me deciding I wanted my money back for no reason. Now nobody responds to my support tickets and they have made my game not allow me to receive gifts. Geez I can’t tell you how much that is costing me. So buyer beware! Zendesk you need to contact me directly!

VIRUS!! STOP DO NOT DOWNLOAD GAME. VIRUS

There is a boycott, of this game, going on all over the world due to what seems to be a VIRUS. I have been playing this game for a year and a half. Last week ALL players around the world experienced the following: While you were playing a game (in a battle) and collecting diamonds, coins, and kills; the WM APP would close. When you leave a battle YOU LOSE EVERYTHING. Now if you BOUGHT $$$; Diamonds, Coins, Fuel, Ammo, etc, you lost it because the WM APP Closed. WM developers launched an update 3 days ago. Did it work??? Hell No. WM customer service asked us to let them know if we are experiencing the same problem. I have sent 6 instances over a 2 day period, time stamped to WM customer service; stating “SAME PROBLEM, NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED!!!” As of this post I have had NO RESPONSE from WM customer service. There are people who have spent hundreds and thousands of $ on this game. That is why there is a boycott by thousands of players. You would think WM developers could fix the problem. Those of us that were playing the game believe there is a VIRUS that WM developers can’t fix. Don’t waste your $$$$.

Shop Til You Drop!

Open game, attractive female avatar appears to show you around. First stop, the store where you can shop shop shop til you drop. After all, your tank will need to be upgraded, before you even start. Oh, if you don’t want to wait for the pesky upgrade to be installed, you can pay for it to be installed right away. Yay! Golly, the attractive female avatars are always so helpful! They always come out in the first 30 seconds of games and show me where I can go shopping! They also make sure I understand how very very important it is to shop early and shop often! Otherwise, the game will not be very enjoyable as I wait hours or days to have my purchase installed. So I do not just need to pay for the parts, I also gots to pay for the labor. Problem is, these are the exact same problems I have in real life. Why would I want to have them in my leisure time too? Better to let someone else pay to upkeep the tank. Oh well. I guess I will not be getting freaky naughty with the hot female avatar. It was pretty strongly implied that she’s only attracted to big spenders. Oh well, my loss is your gain, so grab that wallet and get ready to spend, fellas, and before you know it, you’ll be winning left and right, and the hot chick will totally, well you know. Shopping games are awesome. Sadly, I uninstalled it. I guess I just don’t love shopping enough.

Like the action but dislike the cost.

I do like the action. An appropriate amounts of details are included to make the game realistic enough. There are some details that an actual tank should be to plow through or over but you get stuck behind in this game. There are still some glitches that make the tanks act wonky from time to time. In fact, the latest update introduced more glitches than it apparently fixed. My biggest peeve is the cost. Not necessarily the extra bells and whistles you can buy, you can avoid these easily enough if you don't want them. But it's the unnecessary pop ups where one accidentally clicks on the purchase button cause it wasn't there a moment ago and then cancel said accidental purchase. I suspect many of them still get submitted to Apple and since I do not keep a record of what I do buy and/or cancel, I realistically cannot contest them. There is also a huge disconnect between when I do buy something to when Apple actually charges me for them. Sometimes it's a week or more till I see the charges and that makes even more difficult to contest. Other games I see the charges within a day or two. Improving this alone would be greatly appreciated.

You can do better then this

I have played this game useing different email address for a long time already your upgrades come very slow and there is so much you can do to improve and make it a better platform IE how come if you earn a crate and the slots are full you just are out of luck you spend how much money and you can keep what you played for that’s totally unfair and you should be able to unlock more then one at a time also the coins are only for upgrades on your tanks why can’t you buy shells or something else with them you charge alott of money for diamonds they should alott cheaper you would have more players also the same courses you have not made any new ones how come these are burned out already same thing and how many times I get hotshot and there is not tanks around all the time and also how come when it first starts your gun will shoot by itself waisting rounds that you have paid for but the crates are a big one loosing crates that you fought for because the slot is full that is highway Robert come on fix some of this stuff and becoming a premium player is worthless what do you get for it a few more coins that you can upgrade your tank come on guys think about this stuff sorry for being so straightforward but somebody has to ring it to you have a nice day
