WSOP rating
Mon Jan 26 2026 Black Jack Mac 1285

I’m rating the game play only. The game itself is 5-star. Have enjoyed all BTH games. However, a lot of questionable changes that have been made - NOT for the benefit of the players. Very difficult to maintain high levels of play unless you consistently buy chips. The duplicate card return/redeem changing from 360 to 480 is frustrating. That makes no sense. One issue that is a constant problem is the pop-up ads that now show up. After seeing these now for a couple months, they are more irritating than ever. They interrupt the flow of the game and lead to hitting the wrong buttons just to exit out of the game. Please look at this - it adds nothing to play and takes away the fun. In addition to these things, another thing that continues to baffle me are the daily and monthly quests. The amounts that you need to reach are inconsistent at best. As an example, on one day, you need to reach 3 billion chips total bet to reach a monthly quest goal. The next day it might be 13 billion. I go from aces to masters and vice versa. It doesn’t matter. The amounts can go from attainable to ridiculously unattainable for no reason. What is happening with this? I try to play daily. But, I have actually played less because the game is becoming less fun and more like work to reach goals, etc. I hope that some changes are made that actually benefit the player soon. It would help keep players interested.

Love this app but worst updates/changes ever
Fri Mar 28 2025 Temposcientist

You guys have a great app been playing for years, and yes guys, it really is free! However, recent changes/updates DO NOT feel natural, algorithm is way off, numbers randomizer is statistically impossible,I’ll bet even the pros are befuddled lol. I’ve lost billions in the past week or so, haven’t earned an academy season in months, and please don’t advertise beaucoup card pks, thrill wheel spins, whatever, unless you truly mean it… I’ll keep logging on to collect my freebies but hey you’re making it really difficult to actually play, has become more ‘pay to play’ or else we’ll drain your hard earned, and I do mean earned not ‘bought’, chips. Shame on you guys from us who love the art of poker. Why would we be here if, after years of gaining/learning this beloved skill set, we not been forced to buy chips? Now feel forced and I’m not loving it like I always have. Don’t screw up this great app guys and jeopardize your legendary namesake, keep your integrity and keep up the the good work by fine tuning recent changes, make it ‘natural’ again, make sure your AI sitters are programmed to ‘play’ the game, not ‘take’ the game. And most of all, don’t give me your pat answer I see everywhere in this rate me space. Doing so would only add credibility to my post… how about ‘we take your post seriously and will look into what changes/patches are necessary to keep the game real’? Okay? Okay.

Enjoyable training aid

Graphics are great & WSOP designers are always changing the themes to keep things interesting. Calculations with chip distribution are always more than efficient. Might be cool to have an option where one of the black suit's is green & one of the red suit's is blue…for those of us that can't see as clearly as we used to. That's splitting hairs but had to throw it in there because I've recently misread a couple hands, while playing later than I should have been. Different blinds make this good for all skill levels. Still don’t know what the blue stars on my hole cards represent &/or how to play in tournaments. Admittedly, I haven’t spent much time searching for those answers but if the option to answer those questions was a little more apparent, it might get more people playing tournaments. would be a little more apparent or accessible. Take this all from someone who is just a little over 15k hands in. Overall, it's a cool site that allows you to see some cards & face real situations, which will ultimately improve your game. It also allows us to experience those familiar feelings poker’s known for…such as everyone’s plotting against you (when running bad) or that you’re the next coming (when running good). Best of luck to everyone & thanks again for providing us a site to play the game we love, from anywhere!

Becoming unfair

This game has gotten out of hand, you have ppl playing at a table with a billion chips along with ppl who have only 100 million or only 10-20 million or less...on first call some raise at a decent raise level, however, the big chip holder person will raise an ungodly amount so if anyone wanted to meet it or raise they lose their whole chip amount playing with...if they lose...Should be rooms with limits on amount of chips owned! The game isn't poker anymore, it is who can or is able to raise high enough to win, no skill, just keep raising!!! It boils down to EAPoker wanting purchases of chips!!! Sad! I continue to play but with much fustration!! The clubs are horrid!!! I take my chips and play and win to advance in rank, however I can't alwAys play due to work, so you keep taking me back to lower ranks!! Take me back to level one of that particular suit but not all suits!! I earned it with money spent only to take it away!! Absurd!!! I do appreciate the free chips, the specials etc...I truly hope you read and absorb this writing...hope to hear from you. Cheryl M I still believe wsop has gotten out of hand, but I limit my spending and just feel sorry for the ppl that can't! Wsop could lessen the cost and still come out ahead!!!

OK, but deceptive ads

The game is OK. But I’m REALLY tired of trying to click on something like the Mega Bonus only to have the game quickly switch it to a purchase button right before I click. Then I have to cancel a purchase I didn’t make and didn’t want. And it warns me to verify that I didn’t actually get charged. Seriously? That step should never be necessary. And it’s annoying enough that I’ll probably eventually delete the game. For now I’ll just drop my otherwise favorable rating. /// March 11, 2023 Update Yesterday I logged out then back in maybe 30min later and it presented me with Privacy and Terms-of-Use docs that I had to agree to. I thought they had just been updated but, no, my account wasn’t working at all! It doesn’t recognize me, my progress, my friends, nor the money I’d banked. I thought perhaps it was a temporary glitch so I signed off but now, about 24hrs later, and still no luck. But this comment section recognizes me. So I’ll give the lowest rating I can and leave the app to see if it comes back. I don’t want to play in case that overwrites my history, but perhaps that has already happened when I gave my login name and it opened with a mostly blank slate. ☹️ PS Does a 3-card straight beat a flush? Because it does in one of your games. It also sometimes doesn’t register that I was dealt a straight and so I lose a winning hand. 😡 I’ve reported the problem multiple times but it still happens.

Great game, but…

I’ve really enjoyed this game and there’s always something to do for the most part BUT everytime you play, no matter how many times you exit out of the “pop ups,” they continue to show up telling you to spend an extra $3, or $4, or $5 to get a chance at bigger rewards. If there were a couple of these every once in awhile I wouldn’t mind. Obviously avid players will spend a couple bucks here and there to keep their bankrolls loaded but, every time I get a wheel spin, play daily blitz, or video poker I have to wait through what seems like a full advertisement showing that I can win even more! I know I can pay to play but I don’t want to. I certainly don’t want to hear about it 20 times every time I play. Last time I logged in there were 5 pop ups for the shop, loot lane, and some other things to get additional chips and I have to just sit there clicking on the “x” over and over until I can actually just play a game; the same things popped up again after I left one of the game modes as well. Not to mention it doesn’t even matter how many chips you have. I’ve had 0 and I’ve had well over 20B and I continue to see this stuff. I don’t think there’s a setting to reduce this or even a purchase option but something needs to be done about it because frankly it ruins the game experience completely.

Inconsistent and outrageously high daily quest requirements
Mon Dec 27 2021 no bingo allowed

The daily quest requirements are fine when at the lower levels such as jacks, queens, and kings but they shoot up to a much higher, more time consuming requirements even though the prizes for those quests are identical to the quest prizes for the lower level requirements. Even after not playing for a while in order to get back to the lower level of king, the quest requirements remained at the higher level. I compared the quest requirements for my two accounts and noticed that they were not consistent and one account’s requirements were much higher than the other account even though they were at the same kings level. My suggestion is to keep the quest requirements low and consistent so that more players will participate to complete those daily quests. I am also having problems with WSOP support at times. When I have messaged support in the past with issues and there are more than one question in the message, they have a bad habit of only answering one of the questions and then ignoring the other questions. I have also contacted support numerous times now because they still haven’t issued the additional followers for a promotion that required players to complete all daily quests for a certain period. The prize was to be issued on or before December 14th but I have yet to receive the prize or any notification. What is the point of running a promotion when the promoters don’t follow through to issue the prizes?

Very biased and unrealistic winnings. Also can’t log in.

First of all since switching to iPhone I can’t log in with Facebook and that’s been irritating. However, this is how it’s been for both my fiancé and I both, at first this was the best poker game on the play store and the App Store. More recently it’s become more biased towards the buyers of chip packages, card packages etc. long story short as long as you spend money on the game you’re destined to win, otherwise you’re gonna lose everything. They’ll let you win when you first make an account then you’ll over time lose chips and lose chips until you finally give in to buying and they’ll let you win some just to make you feel good about it. My biggest issue and complaint is I’ve had plenty of encounters with this huge flaw. It caters to the buyers and more frequent players, for example I’ve had a hand say 3 of a kind and win 90k out of a 800k pot and someone with a pair of 5’s takes the rest. That one happens all too often and that one really gets under my skin. This game is very biased and I can’t stand it. It’s not so much of a poker game as much as it is a randomized virtual lottery game with a poker twist to it at this point. Except you don’t win any actual money back they just take from you. Otherwise it’s still probably the best one on both app stores as far as gameplay aside front zynga, which is also very arcade like. I suggest poker stars on your PC or the app stores honestly haha
