Hey, Challengers! This update contains some quality of life improvements and fixes.
Stay tuned for upcoming events and features.
This game is one of the most fun games I have ever played and is very, very enjoyable, but there are a few bugs that I have noticed and are pretty annoying. (1) For starters, when I connected to Facebook, it used my Facebook profile picture as the same one for tennis clash without permission, and afterwards when I disconnected Facebook from Tennis Clash through Facebook as well as the game, my profile picture was still not changeable, and when I changed my pfp on Facebook, it for some reason (even though the game was disconnected from Facebook) changed to my new profile picture on Facebook. This worries me about the security and information taken from us when connecting anything to the game. Something that could be changed to fix this issue is maybe allow users to change their profile picture regardless of whether they have connected to Facebook or not, and if a user has disconnected from Facebook, the apps removes any profile pictures associated with the user’s Facebook account. (2) The coins earned section in the profile section has a bug for sure. In that section, it says my total coins earned is 960, but then it says my current amount of coins is 5,548. This seems pretty off. (3) This is just advice, but maybe there could be a system where users create accounts using an email and can also change their pfp regardless. Hopefully these issues are fixed in the near future.
This is a really fun game to play, but the progression in developing your tennis player characters is slow, can be costly if you let it, and more than anything the current glitches are annoying. The current annoying glitches include: (1) sometimes you hit a clear winner that undoubtedly went in and the game will still award the point to the other player for no apparent reason; (2) similarly, sometimes when you hit your first serve instead of having a fault called and getting to hit a second serve, the game will just give the point to the other player; (3) sometimes when you play in the back court (which is often necessary when you get matched against other players with an insanely higher and untouchable skill level) the game collapses/closes when you flick your finger to hit the ball, with the result being that you miss your shot, the point goes to the other player, you have to rush to relaunch or call up the game screen again so you can continue play, and when you do your character gets stuck and can’t move and if it’s your serve then the next time you serve the ball the serve will go flying off in some bizarre unintended direction thereby giving you a fault and wasting an entire service attempt. These are big glitches that definitely need to get fixed.
There are lots of good things in this game like the controls and graphics/animation, but there are other things in the game that need to be fixed before they become too much for people to deal with and they delete the game! Top of the list: Match making. At first I was getting well balanced opponents and things were looking up, but before I could praise the game for it’s fairness in match making, things turned down south(for me, of course). After my first 10-15 games, I was constantly being matched against players 2x to 3x my skill level. The result was me getting obliterated every match and getting frustrated. It’s really not right when I am put up against an opponent who can blast the ball at the speed of light while my player is crawling slower than a snail trying to make a return. Your mismatched opponents are lighting fast who can hit the ball at unthinkable speeds while your helpless slow poke player is watching them celebrate after embarrassing you. The other thing, although not as big of a deal, that’s taking the fun away from the game is that there are too many prize bags/boxes to pay attention to. Just have one prize bag feature instead of presenting overwhelming amounts because the main menu is cluttered with so many prize features. The biggest issue that needs attention is matchmaking by far. Overall It’s a great game with lots of room for improvement. I will update my rating to 5 stars when matchmaking is taken care of.
This game is really fun but the problem is that I get this game and the bags have a slot of 4 and take like 4-8 hours to open and I ignore that since I play for fun but no. If you don’t get bags and you don’t get money then you can never win. I see plenty people have no skill and my attributes are higher in every category except stamina and speed since the frickin bags won’t open and every time I hit the ball to one side and make up a strategy my stamina is already on red while there’s is on green and they are magically already at my ball OR the ball suddenly moves in slow motion waiting for the opponent to come to the ball and they hit it way stronger than my hit WHEN MY ATTRIBUTES FOR HIT ARE LITERALLY HIGHER. Not only that but they continue matching me against players that have 2-3 times better attributes than me and I can’t upgrade my attributes BECAUSE IT COSTS LIKE 2,000-4,000 AFTER 2-3 FRICKIN UPGRADES AND I DONT EVEN GET ANY MATERIALS SINCE I HAVE TO WAIT 8 HOURS FOR JUST ONE BAG OF MEASLY NOTHING TO OPEN. I’ve deleted this game so many times and re downloaded hoping it would get better. But no no no no no no. It doesn’t. The game is real fun in the beginning but as you continue to lose even when ur skill is obviously better it just gets frustrating. Especially since you literally can barely upgrade your attributes since ur continuously losing to people with 2-3 times your attributes and lose all the measly money you got.
I thought I was falling in love with the game until I started getting matched with people that literally move around the court like they’re gliding on ice and smashing the ball back to u as u crawl slower than a snail and in most cases don’t make it to the ball and in the other case there are two parts. Either you manage to barely make it there and volley the ball causing you to put yourself in an energy draining situation until you meet your demise OR you get there in time to hit the ball comfortably only to volley the ball anyway no matter how hard you hit it within legal bounds. I’ll have a clear slam and win situation in front of me only to volley the ball and watch my opponent skip happily over to it and turn the tides because, remember, uneven matchmaking. I’m asking myself is there something I’m doing wrong but when I do the training, I hit the ball fast in the direction I want but when it’s time to smash the ball in game, I can be in the best placement with suits energy and and hit the ball with enough force to where it should be a smash but will still volley the ball giving up my potential point. This is super frustrating. It’s to the point where there is literally no reason to play the game. I’ve already spent a few dollars on the game so now I’m realizing that I’m just on the road to paying you guys and still being frustrated with the game making it pointless to have downloaded.
Tennis Clash is a super fun game but… for this review I want to call Tennis Clash (TC) so it’s easier. When I first started TC I started off at a really low level and it was hard to get to the top where I am at 100 now. After 100 I started winning more and have moved up and made the game a lot easier to play with friends. I wish that Tennis Clash had a way to play against your friends other than joining Facebook. Maybe that could be a new update for the game.I also like the three bags just in case you run out of money so you can get higher level. I also like the addition where are you can enter a challenge area where you keep opening cards but when you get the racket you have to re-do the game but it’s super fun when you win stuff for free. Its like the lottery. I also like how you win cards and get new players from just opening a free kit I have a girl now and she’s way better than a boy that I started off with. People may quit because of how hard it is to level up with meeting people and some people think it might be fake how you play against other players. But overall I think tennis Clash is a great game to play when you are bored and at home or you just need some fun in your life and challenges, it’s a great game and everyone should try it.
I have played here daily, in the beginning it was fun, after the 1st year completed, 2nd year through present has been down ward spiral in terms of not progressing to higher tier trophy’s or winning higher percentage rates when it comes to match playing against other players or possible bots. Its really disappointing to say the least. For me, I want to prove that the people that created this app was not for the enjoyment of tennis players that love the game, it’s solely purpose was to make the consumer buy & buy to make the player think if one would increase in higher levels, his or her play would increase & make it fun. For me, Its been nothing but disappointment and negative unrealistic outcomes. For example, right now I’m level 14, and the system sets me up with someone at level 12. That level player still has a legitimate chance to beat me. In which most cases half the time he or she does beat me. How is that possible? I will never know. I’m just describing and telling you my overall experience. When playing level 15 players. 100% of the time. I lose 7 to 0. It’s either they are purposely doing this to me, or that’s how all players receive this type of experience. Regardless, this has to be fixed. Lots of people have left since they upgraded to 2.0. They should have left it alone. They have made it worse and almost impossible to get to level 15. I give this app 1 star. In all honesty.
This game is great, but there’s much room for improvement. The bugs are ridiculous. Majority of my matches that are loss occur only because of a random glitch. I’ve witnessed some crazy glitches. There was a time in which despite I was tapping the screen to move my player, his feet remained planted. His arms didn’t even move. There have also been countless amounts of times in which my player gets to the ball and I swipe what could’ve been a game winner , but he just doesn’t swipe at all. I have had , “wifi connection,” symbols pop up mid play despite my WiFi connection works incredibly well - not to mention, with full bars. It’s really unfair, I feel as though when I spent actual cash for coins that’s when more glitches started to appear. I’ve been blowing through coins on matches that I can typically fairly win. For tennis lovers and enthusiast this game is great. Every now and then you get a good rally with someone who strategizes, but when the game glitches it doesn’t matter how, “good,” you are you will lose. I don’t even want to get started on the seemingly impossible hits some players are able to do when juiced up at ridiculous levels with racquet power ups. The loot bags are nice for coins and gems, but the card system is a joke. 7,200 coins for one point upgrade on stamina - and that’s if you even get the card. Aside from that the game isn’t awful and I do enjoy playing it here and there.
