great game BUT…!

i love this game truly, i really do! i’ve had this game on my nintendo switch for months, and have been loving the mobile version a lot, but the lobby leaders should definitely be able to kick people from the lobby!!! AFK/IDLE PLAYERS KILL THIS GAME FOR ME! when a player goes afk or idle, they ruin the fun for other people who are actually trying to play online going through the story levels. continuously having to wait for people to move the slightest amount forward just to return to being idle is annoying and preventable! aside from that, the game is great! will be keeping it, but please allow some punishment (can’t think of a better word) for being idle during the game. like auto kick them because they were idle or something. people are having to leave and create new lobbies to avoid these kind of people.. just for them to join the new lobby you created! it’s an annoying cycle, please devs do something because it’s annoying enough for me to write this lol.

And…I have a lot to say about it. I Grew up in the 80s and loved the TMNT’s…thought it was great that they been around throughout the years, but they were always evolving. Saw the new movie coming out and got excited to watch it with my kids. Each evolution is just a new version for each generation. Made me realize the old one is mine…this new one will be my kids. Felt kinda grown up thinking that… THEN I PLAYED THIS!!!!and I feel like an 8 yr old dumping quarters into an arcade machine again!…but it’s better!! The game play is great...makes you want to master it and speed run it…and just so much spot on Nostalgia at every turn…it’s just perfect. Never felt the urge to write review before, but this game has made me so happy I felt I had to let you know…to everyone that made this…and whoever might be thinking about playing this game…I’m insanely amped up about it…It is Awesome! Thank you for creating this…I don’t think I will ever stop playing it. Thanks

Best TMNT Game Ever!

This game is pretty much a beefed up version of the classic arcade games! The sprite work is amazing, the music slaps, so there plenty of character to play as and the amount of Easter eggs and references to the classic cartoons are endless! Since this is the app version (as opposed to the console version), there are a few differences, for better or worse. 1. You need a Netflix account to play this 2. No local multiplayer, but there’s still online multiplayer (not sure if there’s crossplay or not) 3. DLC is already included in this! It took me a while to get use to the controls, but they’re honestly not bad! Seriously though, if you’re looking for the best TMNT game on the go, this is the ideal choice! Turtle Power!

It’s Shredder’s Revenge! via Netflix.

So! If you’ve played any of the Konami arcade games from the 90s, this is basically an update of that. More or less conveys the tone and playstyle of that eras shows and games. If you’ve played any of the post-2003 games it’s a little basic but it’s derived from nostalgia for the 80s TV show, and so it will be a bit wacky. If you wanted to play a modern era ninja turtles game with little more complexity, I’d recommend Mutants In Manhattan on PS4. Anyway, this game kind of feels like an anachronism. Its got the bright colors and presentation of the most interesting parts of the show, up to and including multiple one-off bad guys showing up as bosses. There are several characters I don’t really remember but I couldn’t stand rewatching more than a few episodes of the old show. Let me tell you it does not hold up. Anyway games great. I have bought it on multiple platforms.

Loved the game, but something disappointing popped up.

This game is excellent I loved every minute of it. I was excited to check it out since I had a Netflix subscription. Unfortunately there seems to be some bug where I can’t open the game. I go to the AppStore to see If I need an update. And I notice there are two versions of the game. The version I own, and a mobile version. Apparently the mobile version is free, but you have to pay for the full game. That was extremely disappointing. I understand wanting to make money for this excellent game, but I already was paying for a subscription. I would like if the bug was fixed and I could play the version I already had access to. However, I’ll probably have to settle for playing the mobile version. And I’ll probably get this game on my switch anyway.

Amazing game!…HOWEVER….

I started playing this game about a year ago or so, and I had a really great time playing it! The graphics were great, the gameplay was smooth (it was so-so in multiplayer though.) and the pixel art and animation were astonishing! I’m a die hard TMNT fan, but due to the recent update the game crashes! And it seems like I’m not the only one who has this issue. I logged hours and hours of gameplay into this game, only to have it crash as soon as the loading screen appears! I have read other’s reviews on this topic and they haven’t even been acknowledged by the devs. It is truly heartbreaking to put so much effort into a game like this, only to face a huge bug that the developers REFUSE TO FIX!!! I am NOT paying a PENNY for a “mobile version” WHEN THE OLD VERSION ALREADY WORKS ON MOBILE! This is just outrageously stupid that I have to write a review when the devs should have fixed it already. Shame on you, you money hungry leeches. Shame.

Awesome!

Brings back those Turtles in Time feels! Captures that awesome retro gameplay with some fresh graphics and a few extra moves. Netflix games division has been knocking it out of the park lately! Was stoked to see this had been ported. Also was happy to see Twelve Minutes make it onto mobile! Keep bringing those hits to mobile! I use my iPad like a console with a ps4 controller and it feels like you guys are on the same page 😊. Speaking of controller support, this game has full controller support (at least with my ps4 controller (iPad Pro)and my backbone (iPhone 12 max) just wanted to point that out bc the first review said they couldn’t connect 🤷🏼‍♂️

Where is the DLC

This game is really fun. The story mode is great, arcade mode haves many awesome options to add an extra challenge, the characters different stats makes the game modes have more replay ability, and the bosses are fun to battle. There is one thing I am wondering though. Recently the DLC for the console version of this game has came out. The thing I am wondering about is if this version of the game will have the DLC too? If not can you consider adding it soon please. Overall this game is fun to play with its multiple options and I hope the DLC will be added sometime in the future.🥷🐢
