Kof 97

This game is hands down the best KOF game on the app store as of right now. I would give it a 5 star if it werent for the controls that are a little bit stiff at times, specially when you are trying to fallow up a combo with a special but man I'd still be killing it on my Iphone 4s. We need Orochi in the game aswell and if possible make this game an online player too. keep up the good work and release KOF 98 or 2002 that would be a dream come true. For those who complain about difficulty you guys must be rookies or not good at this game at all. my tip to all you is figure out how the computer works, when to pull off a moves to beat it and learn how to do combos fallowed by specials. Then you will be a true King of fighters. If you are a fan of the KOF series you must get this game. the newer KOF games are ok and a bit entertaining but this one just brings back memories and has a big roster. Clark, Iori, Blue Mary, Benimaru, Terry, Joe, Ralf and I Billy are my fav characters in this game. Please! realease a game this year.

Like I stated in my previous review, this game is a MUST own for any fighting game fan, especially those of the King of Fighters series, but come on SNK. It's been long enough. For the love of God, just add a training mode! You have no idea how hard it is to pull of a lot of Iori's and Kyo's combos, so I basically had to train by repeating the first stage OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER AGAIN because that's when the AI is at it's stupidest. I may not understand all the technical aspects of adding something to the game, but is it really THAT hard to program a mode were the AI sits still and does nothing with unlimited health so I can practice combos? If we do get the update, I'll change this review to a 5 star, because this is definitely one of the best fighting games I've ever played, and this is coming from a guy whose played Street Fighter 3rd Strike.

Brings back memories

The game is overall fairly decent, the character selection is full of nostalgia, the difficulty seems to be a problem for newer players.. you had to be there to understand it (not trying to sound like an oldhead) + One flaw that nobody seems to point out is that for some odd reason you never get to fight Kim’s team, Yashiro’s team or Art of Fighting team. Why is that?? Overall, fairly good game.

Not what I expected...

I expected this game to have controls that I could use, and a difficulty level that wouldn't increase to a master at the iPad version after one match. The sp button is unusable, which is something to be relied on when the control stick is just impossible to use. The buttons are too small as is the control stick as you cannot adjust it's size. The ai is ridiculous, they avoid things and make combos that aren't even possible by a human, and enter in commands that counter that couldn't be countered even with invincibility frames. There's no training mode for people actually trying to get into it. Very disappointed by playmore SNK for making such a cheap, clunky port to a masterpiece. If they didn't just slap the controls there, it would be different. But they spent maybe an hour making this game, or so it seems, because it's just cheaply emulated on the iPad. Don't buy this game.

It will bring back memories

As a hard core video game player I have to say, this game brings tears to eyes 'cuz, the gold era for Kin of Fighters saga was back in the 90's where in México (Im Mexican) you could go and play these games and have a real experience. Online gaming is not the same, and it will never be. KOF 98' was my favorite game and I think one of the most popular game in this saga. Thank You so much SNK for making these great games and because your team works so hard to make all KOF fans happy.

Great game!!!! Good controls!

Great conversion to iOS. If your on the fence and your a kof fan then grab it so you can play it on the go. Really controls well for touch controls. I pull off the specials with no problem. 98 is great too and I would recommend it as well, but if you only buy one of them get 97 because it has Blood effects. For some weird reason they took it out of 98. IMO all the kof's play the same so grab the uncensored 97;)

Hi, please update and make the necessary and necessary fix for this great game for iPhone x and the latest research issue. Problems in this game have become that the hand size and control buttons are too large and difficult to control and also be full screen and all thanks and appreciation and Please follow up on the mentioned comments, and thanks🙂

I just got this game in a bundle special I was playing it fine but as soon as I downloaded the new iOS 11 update it won’t let me play is saying developer needs to update game version to be able to play So please do the update ASAP the king of fighters saga is one of my favorite games along with metal slug saga and othe snk games
