Steve - Widget Dinosaur Game is the ultimate 'convenience' game. We've all played the 'no internet' dinosaur game in Chrome, but bringing it to the iOS widget area was a stroke of genius. It’s the perfect game for those 15-second windows of time—waiting for an elevator, standing in line, or sitting in a boring meeting. Because it lives in your notification center, you don't even have to unlock your phone to play.
The gameplay is as simple as it gets: jump over obstacles. However, the app adds a layer of depth by allowing you to unlock different characters and themes, which gives you a reason to keep coming back. The controls are responsive, which is critical for a high-score chaser like this. It’s not a deep narrative experience, but as a piece of clever software design that utilizes the iPhone's unique UI, it’s absolutely brilliant.

( btw this is (>.<)not a real story it’s just random story I somehow made up you can (>❤️read if you want I made it long so it’s more entertaining)😃: My mother is an American and she has been a member since she was little but now she’s an English teacher and she has been in a foreign country for over a decade and she has never heard about it and she is very proud to say she has a good job in her family so it would have made a lot more money than she would have if she had been a foreign mother in her own home and had been living there and had been able to afford a house and a decent life for her own family and her children but she had no choice and she was not allowed to leave the country because of the pandemic she had she would have been living if her country was not dangerous and her husband would be a good fit for her to be with the government and she was going through the right way to make her feel safe in her home she would have no problem staying in her own house she was a very nice person she would be able and I was sure that if she was going to be in a situation where I would have been in trouble and she wouldn’t have been able and would have been able and she wouldn’t be in the situation but I was just saying I would be able and that was not the way I wanted her family to live and she would have to go through the situation. (Well that is all! I hope you enjoy)

Sat Jul 03 2021 coolkid0413I’ll be honest, I don’t play the actual game that much. However, I have and it works really well and I was impressed that the background changed according to the character. What I use this game for mostly, is a competition with my friend. Our goal was who could collect them all first. And it is impossible. It seems like every other day they’re uploading new skins to this app! And not only that, they’re good skins. From hunterxhunter, demon slayer and Naruto to stranger things and It. From ladybug and catnoir to how to train your dragon. From random Christmas characters to Minecraft. From Cars (not the movie) to amogus. From Kim jong un, Donald trump and Oboma to random animals. This game has it all. The only thing I would improve on is being able to get more coins in game and to lower the price on the skins. I may also add characters like Queen Elizabeth and Joe Biden to go with the others.
It has a little something for everyone

This game is great and was a huge banger to play back when we had no internet running in the house, and whenever there was an outage, I would BINGE this game. The fact that not only is this game remastered with better graphics, but you can also play it without unlocking your phone. I’d highly recommend for others to play it. It seems as though I have nothing negative to say, but you’re probably wondering why this is only rated 4 out of 5 stars. Well, its controls are a bit clunky, at least for my iPhone. I don’t know about you, but I often find myself going out of focus of the game at times whenever I accidentally tab out of the game. Jumping works okay, but the main problem I find with the game is ducking. It seems to be a struggle when you are trying to duck and you end up scrolling the entire screen in your Notification Center, not only disrupting your vision but also your ability to interact with the game, which is very important considering the game is a fast paced autoscroller. Here’s what I propose: Either make a full screen version of the widget that doesn’t get interrupted easily from swiping/ tapping elsewhere or make a playable version in the app you can play if it doesn’t work in Notification Center. It’s adorable, and I like that it’s small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of room, so that you can do something else while you play it, like watch Netflix. As a leftie, it’s pretty easy for me to use it, but I can see why it would be hard for right handed people. The graphics are great, and i really like that it gives credit to the Chrome Easter egg game. I also like that the ads are completely optional, like if you want to get some more coins so that you can buy a cute character, you can watch an ad. There’s not many games like this out there, definitely a great game and if you are thinking about downloading it, you really should, you will love this game. Keep making more games, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Loved It Long Time
Wed Mar 30 2022 Rock4Jesus777I had this game since the beginning of iOS widgets and earned all of the characters…then the game stopped working. On the widget screen it simply said “Failure to Load.” In the app, I would tap on the Characters section and the app would crash. I checked the Store and saw there was an update 3 weeks ago. Clearly something went wrong with it. I restarted my device and that didn’t fix the issue. The last thing was to remove and reinstall the app. I know this seldom works to truly fix the game. It did start working after that but I lost all my progress. All coins and characters collected…gone. I find myself torn between the thought that it’s an unfortunate software incident, which it could be. Or perhaps the developer pushed an update that required users to start over in the name of renewing their revenue stream. I’ve had that happen before. “Oh we did an overhaul on the game so you will have to delete it and reinstall it to make it function properly. Unfortunately that means you start from scratch. Oh and Restore Purchases doesn’t work because “technically” it’s a new game.” No thank you. I hope this was an unfortunate accident. All in all, I suppose I had my fun with this game but I don’t look forward to doing it all over again so I will not be reinstalling. I also didn’t receive the “free character for updating” that was promised in the update notes. #notbitter😜

Fri Sep 30 2022 RunRunRun150Hi, RunRunRun15 here, this game is fun, but there’s a character im trying to get, but I need to watch ads to get it, so I tried, but it said no ad available, I knew what this meant, the no ad glitch, I get this glitch for some games I get, so it must have went into this game, I’d like you to fix this glitch for at least this game, so I can get my character. (Or make it unlockable with coins, that would be good too.) Bye! (And yes, I tried re installing.) Update: Thank you for confirming that you will solve this problem, I will consider rating higher in the future! Update 2: WOOHOO!!! You guys really helped me out, as i can now watch the ads to get my character!! You guys rock! Thank you so much for helping me out with my problem! You guys earned yourself a 5 star rating!
Liked it Before the Update
Sun Jan 28 2024 #1DisneyFangirlBefore, it was really a nice game to play and put as a widget. Now it because another app. It’s just not the same as it was. I wish they would have made a separate app for their other stuff and kept the same game and widget in the other. Also, I try to put a widget in and I can no longer put the dinosaur game in. So what is even the point of this app anymore?, to just pay for stuff, watch adds, see new wallpapers, and watch dinosaur on an app, not on a widget, on less than half of a screen. I signed up for the dinosaur game, not for anything else. If you want to make wallpapers, then why not do that in another app. There was many dinosaur games to choose from the App Store years ago, but I picked your app because I thought to myself, “Steve is a cool name for a dinosaur.” No hard feelings, think that your wallpapers are cool by the way. App just needs a little fixing. Also, why does it say Vega when the app says Steve?

Its just like the offline Crome computer game (if u know what I’m talking about). It’s pretty self-explanatory and if you can’t get it on your widgets no problem! There’s tons of characters and it’s just a good way to spend your time on a car ride or in just your free time! —————————————————————————————— IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IT ON HERES A SOLUTION 1. GO TO SIDE SCREEN/ WIDGET SCREEN 2. SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM OF SIDE SCREEN 3. IT WILL SAY ADD WIDGET AT VERY BOTTOM. TAP THAT. 4. IF U JUST INSTALLED THE GAME IT SHOULD BE AT THE TOP. 5. CLICK THE LITTLE PLUS SIGN NEXT TO THE GAME 6. THE GAME NAME AND ICON WILL MOVE UP AND INSTEAD OF A GREEN PLUS IT WILL HAVE A RED MINUS SIGN DO NOT PRESS THE MINUS UNLESS YOU WANT TO UNINSTALL THE WIDGET 7. IF YOU WANT THE WIDGET AT THE TOP PRESS AND HOLD IT. IT SHOULD BE MOVEABLE. 8. MOVE IT TO THE TOP 9. PRESS HOME BUTTON. 10. GO TO THE WIDGET/ SIDE BAR AND ON THE TOP SHOULD BE STEVE THE DINO!
