FAVORITE CHILDHOOD GAME

Star Girl was one of my favorite fashion games as a child and now that I come back to it everything is great! Some problems though, when you want to buy promos for the Star Girl beauty queen contest, they don’t process and you get nothing, essentially it just gets stuck on the “Synchronizing Progress...” same with just making any general purchase using your real money or trying to buy something from StarWOW. Secondly, my account for Star Girl was synchronized with Facebook so it saves my progress but half my clothes and accessories are gone and I can’t retrieve from the store or from boyfriends, and I have no idea why. Another problem is that when I try to contact support for these kinds of problems, the button doesn’t work so I come here to get the email and send a message to try and figure out these problems but I receive a message saying the inbox is too full. I’ve tried to do research to see if maybe the game just wasn’t going to be updated anymore but I can’t find anything so, If the creators are still hanging around PLEASE consider updating the game to fix these few bugs that I’ve seen a lot of other people have problems with.

Love the game, but..

I played this game years ago, and about 2 days ago I remembered this game. So I decided downloaded it! I had a trip down memory lane with this game and all its features, but I noticed two things; 1) When I tried to find friend codes online so I could play Star Night Club, it said “Connection Error.” My connection seemed to be perfectly fine. When I would type in friend codes, it’d continuously load. I tried logging in with Facebook but it pulled up an error message saying something along the lines of “App not active: This app is not accessible right now and the developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in once the app is reactivated.” 2) When I went to the carnival to play some mini games, I had finally reached the rank to unlocked the Yoga mini game. Once it was unlocked, it had a download icon on it, so I clicked it. It did nothing. Both of these issues are active in “Star Girl: Fashion Celebrity” and “Star Girl: Spooky Styles” as far as I know.

This Game Needs Attention

Okay, so this game is my childhood, it’s one of the reasons why I decided to major in fashion, and I recently got it again. First thing I noticed was that I couldn’t buy anything. Like, the in-app purchases were not available. I was excited to buy something because I always dreamed of buying more coins or diamonds and as in recent years, VIP. Well, I discovered you can still get VIP, but no diamonds, coins, or those packages in Star Dazzle. You also can’t buy promotions or anything in Star Wow. So in conclusion, you cannot get any in-app purchases, but because VIP is a subscription, you’d have to get it via App Store or your device’s version of App Store. There’s also those 6th floors in the cafe and nightclub that have been there for years at this point and there’s no update on those either. There’s no new clothes, and the last update was 2 years ago. Have you abandoned this game? Because I assure you if you started to pay attention to this game along with the other ones like Beauty Queen, Spring Colors, etc., this could be a series of games that will bring you outcome. It not only benefits you, but it allows more people to enjoy the game and not be limited to depend on jobs and the competition to get diamonds.

I love this game but...

I have been playing this game for years. While in the army my best friend told me about it and we would compete against each other weekly to see who had the cutest outfit well...I got off the game for a few years and now I’ve started back to playing it in my spare time. What I don’t like isn’t about the price of clothing or anything. My complaint is that there is never anyone ethnic or any person of color that can make it to the top one hundred. Why? I’ve been asking several of my friends that play religiously and spend real money in this game (including myself) why haven’t they gotten to second, third, or even one hundredth place? I’m sure there is nothing the developers can do but it’s sad that in 2019 people bring their prejudice into a video game. Aren’t we better than that? I’ve told my daughter to stop playing it before she is old enough to understand that people won’t vote for her because she isn’t white. I hope people can wake up and realize we are all the same. No disrespect to the game it’s great but the people in it are making it hard to play.

fun way to pass the time, but needs more

I used to play this game a lot when I was like 7-10 and it definitely contributed a lot to my interest in fashion now. I really liked the creative dress-up aspect of the game and the ability to add and play with my friends. However the devs seem to have stopped updating this game in the past 3 years, and even though a lot of my favorite features are still there, I feel a little disappointed that I don’t have much to look forward to in terms of gameplay. Overall, this app is a great way to sit back and relax if you have a bit of free time, but I would love it if the devs could add in new minigames/streets/etc. just to make things more interesting. Also, there are a few notable issues with the backup feature, since the game essentially gives me a “synchronizing progress” screen whenever I buy competition promotions, and I can’t connect to Facebook. Needs fixing..

First off, I used to love this game when I was a little girl, i decided to download it again because it'd be nostalgic and i started playing a lot and realized how fun it was and decided i wanted to try to win a star girl contest, i looked it up why i couldn't do the promotions because of the data synching and it would just load forever and never save and it hasn't been fixed and i guess this problem had been going around for years so i'm not sure why it hadn't been fixed yet. i deleted the app to see if that would help but now i cant even login to my old account because there was no saved data so basically everything i just did on that app was for nothing and i'm not even gonna bother playing now it's upsetting this wasn't fixed a long time ago, i cant imagine if this happened to someone who actually spent their money on the game, also this game changed a lot, i have never seen a 30 dollar vip membership for a GAME... you can barley buy anything without using real money on this game now, i hope i can get my account back and the saved data is fixed my id was SNVZC7

Please update the game

I haven’t played stargirl since around the time it last updated. I started a new game recently and I saw that nearly all of the shops either said “coming soon” or did not even have the button to enter it. The fashion competition building has the same glitch. I also can’t seem to access online features even though my wifi is working very well. Since I can’t access online features I haven’t been able to enter the nightclub to play the mini game. The list of boyfriends you can get shortened drastically and top floors in the club and cafe say coming soon again. Additionally, another thing missing in my game is that the stores also are drastically missing pieces of clothing that used to be in the game. Another thing I noticed is that in the camera some of the backgrounds are no longer available and the camera is automatically on the mode where it is just taking pictures of the player

This game needs updates!

UPDATE: There is a big problem, I can no longer buy promotions in pageants! All it does is give me the loading screen! I’ve tried to restart my phone, nothing. I’ve uninstalled the game to try & fix the issue (note: my account is hooked up to Facebook so I figured I could easily get back in) & now I can’t even get back inside my account, all I get is the loading screen yet again. Please fix this immediately! I’m not the only one who is having this issue. I’ve had this game for years! It’s extremely addictive. The outfits & mini games are alright, although I feel the developers could add new shops & destinations. Maybe instead of one street add two, or maybe instead of streets, actually add new places; like a park, or a beach, etc etc. It would also be fun to see traditional events like a summer carnival or something similar for every holiday. This game is good, but it could be so much better :)!
