*UPDATED REVIEW BASED ON FINISHING GAME* I’ve long been a huge CureHunters fan. It’s one of the only pixelated, run around and take out the enemy’s kind of app games that is top quality.. until I found Special Agent Cyberduck. I really thought I’d never find another good one similar to CH until I found this game. It’s challenging which makes you want to play it again and again until you get it right. My only issue is for some reason on my app (iOS) sometimes I get randomly slowed down as In my weapons aren’t as fast and I lack SERIOUS ability to jump and I think these things are just bugs. If the bugs could be fixed that’d be great. I’ve now finished the game in normal mode and working on suicide mode cause I’m hooked. I even got my girlfriend hooked on it. Great game just fix the bugs.
Great game that os fun and exciting to play, no doubt! This one is no exception to many other pixel type games. Many different levels that are filled with villains and hidden areas to find your hostages Bad parts, your searching after every level, however, it’s difficult to find the hostages! Poor design! Controls are not really great! Trying to jump from a higher or lower object doesn’t work! The character either ends up there for some time trying to make it or basically gets killed because of the accuracy is way off! Please take a look at the controls and how users aren't able to get to a upper platform or from a level point to another. Weapons are basic, when trying to kill the first boss, your at the mercy of going through your supply and then your left with you primary weapon which is not effective in anything! You’re basically just getting killed off and getting frustrated. Please can you review on getting more opposers to carry ammo so that the user might have a fighting chance! Ill give it 5 stars when updates that fix things in this game are made!
I really enjoyed this game! I would play everyday until I beat the whole game. It was so fun and I like how you could choose your characters and guns and then upgrade abilities. I give 4/5, however, because it would be nice to see more HP pots throughout the levels. Especially in the first two maps. There should be at least one HP potion pack on every level and 2-3 on the longer more difficult levels. The second thing would be just a tiny bit more gold. Just a tiny bit on the starting map. I can see how some might get discouraged by the lack of gold drops at the start. Final suggestion would be to add a weapon or clothing piece when you beat the game. The party is cute and all but a “reward” for beating the whole game, such as a one of a kind clothing item or weapon would be amazing! Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game and wish there were more like it! I even spent real money on the game :)
Let’s face it; you’re tired of playing mobile games for one purpose: forced to watch ads. In this game, not only do watching ads offer great rewards, but they’re completely optional. This game has been such a breath of fresh air to occupy my mind while I have so many projects to finish. On top of that, the in game purchases with real money never exceeded or reaches twenty dollars, not even fifteen. The highest purchase is thirteen dollars while everything else is much lower (and take my advice, consider tipping the developer. They deserve a cup of coffee). Of course, my true love for the game stems from nostalgia factor. Who among this community remembers “Random Heroes?” The gameplay from that game is very similar to this game and adds a few new environmental mechanics. Overall, Special Agent Cyberduck is fun and entirely free to play with very affordable transactions and free rein over advertisements. If you’re interested in a fun action-shooter, 2D platformer to occupy your mind as well, download this game right now. I guarantee you’ll not regret it!
For platform lovers this is the game! It had the perfect combination of fun and difficulty. My only bummer was that it felt a bit short. I think at least 2-3 more difficult levels could really compliment this game. Before I learned how to retrieve LifePoints I messaged App Support and they got right back to me. They were really nice and gave me a hint about how to find the 1st LifePoint. Plus they let me know that they’re gonna be releasing a new game called Chuckles. So I can’t wait for that! Great game all around! Wish there were more like it. Thanks guys for a great game!
I left a previous review stating I wasn’t happy with the game due to a glitch. Come to find out, ‘Battery-Saver’ on iPhone shorts the game a bit. After switching that off, the game worked fine. I loved this game and it is definitely one of my favorite phone games to date. I was locked in until I beat it. It’s challenging, but not crazy, and you begin to pick up on patterns as you go. I enjoyed reaching the hostages bc it gave the game an extra layer of difficulty and fun. I look forward to playing more from this developer!
I know that not everyone uses a controller but I will always prefer games that have controller support. It would make the game far more playable. That said, I’ll keep playing in the hopes that it receives this support. If not, I may still play as I enjoy the game. I just hate being forced to use touch screen controls for gaming though it is a fairly common experience. I’m playing on iPad if that matters at all to anyone. To wrap it up, it is a fun 2d sidescroller shooter platformer and I recommend a download. It is a new game after all.
Sorry if this is a repeat but I can’t seem to change my old review. The controller is a bit shaky unless you enlarge it to the largest size and it seems to fix the issue. Upon opening the app at times full screen is slightly cut off on the right side and needs to be forced closed. Addicting game and great game but the music is the same in each level so far and on level 21. Thanks. To the screaming guy in all caps saying that the gun doesn’t work: bro, you’re just out of ammo. Calm down.
