Very fun game

I love this game, it is my favorite spades game I have tried...visuals are nice, it’s fun... only gripes are my partner messes up a lot, and on hard I still win like 19 out of 20 times, on the hardest level it’s to simple for me...one time out of twenty that I will lose, is mostly cuz I may have one bad hand and then blind nil multiple times in a row and not get it, and even then I will most of the time catch up and just barely lose...there needs to be a harder mode, a better partner, maybe the ability to pick different partners...and if multiplayer was available that would be fun too...but all that said, I still give it 5 stars cuz it is fun, I have the hearts from this company too and that also is excellent...

Random Deal, Please!

This is not a review; it is a suggestion. I believe this is a great Spades game and I have played many, many hands. I realized early on that the game was in ‘teaching mode’ because once my partner and I got in sync and were winning consistently, the opposing team began getting more and more amazing hands dealt to them. And, yes, it is a learning process, and you learn to get around that by making the right (low) bids, but, eventually, it becomes very boring. However, after a period if time in that mode, and when you think it couldn’t get any worse, the opponent team began getting most, if not all, of the spades, making it next to impossible to win unless you play using the Blind Nil option and are very lucky. Needless to say, I’m now searching for alternative apps. But, before I go, I am suggesting that a random deal option be made available and that you let the cards fall where they may!

Love Spades and developers did great

I love the game Spades. But, there’s room for improvement. Megan really needs to learn how not to cut her partner. I also hate that the opponents under bid and Megan has under bid several times. If we are going to be partners we need to act like it. Also, my issue is that everyone can play a spade at first but I cannot. Also, my greatest critique is you can’t play spades without a hand of spades. I realize it’s not guaranteed but it would be nice. At the same time, I know I sound negative, but the game is well made. Your not asking for money like some of these games. I paid for no ads and glad that I did. I like that I’m at least playing with opponents. I don’t have FB, I wish developers would considered Twitter to add friends to play. Keep up the great work and thank you for making one of my favorite games. I love the game/app 👏👏

Megan is not all playing with a full deck 🙄

The game is very good! The best Spades app I’ve played so far. However, even though we win about 3/4 of our games l, Megan is a very frustrating partner. She often seriously underboss and continues taking unnecessary tricks when the possibility of settling the opponents has passed. She also seem to bid with no awareness of the game situation. Particularly annoying is when she bids nil when we are a few hundred points ahead and nearly at 500. I don’t know anything about programming so maybe it’s not possible to correct these things and still maintain the level of play. On another note, would it be possible to move

Excellent Game But…

Let me preface this by saying I am by no means the best spades player out there, but I do have an issue with how the game plays. My issue is with my computer partner, who at times, makes what I would call “bonehead moves.” For example, sometimes when I play a clear winner (i.e. an ace card), my partner sometimes cut me, for no apparent reason. My only recommendation for improvement for this game would be to improve the “artificial intelligence” for the computer partner, to play smarter.

Braindead Partner AI Ruins This One

The amount of times the numbskull partner AI bags the team out trying to set the other team, or busts my nil, throwing low, causing me to get caught, and then immediately tosses out a king or Ace of that same suit to win their book, infuriates me. Great time-waster, but you’re better off with a spades game with online capabilities, to play with other people that know how to properly play Spades. I really wish the partner AI was better. I just lost my second game in a row because we bagged out twice throughout the game, and the other team had 9 bags for most of the game, but my partner thinks it’s playing Hungry Hungry Hippos, gobbling up every book they can, even when they call 1 or 2 books.

Needs a couple of improvements

First do the programmers who wrote this game really know how to play? Because the partner of the player makes some really terrible plays quite frequently. Second why doesn’t the other team get an opportunity to play blind nello or nil like you do? In order to make the game fairer, you should add that feature, and when you are playing on the “hard” level, all players should really know how to play. Megan throws away spades right and left!

Opponents never bid blind nil

Great app if you always want to win. The computer opponent never bids blind nil. Since you as the player can bid blind nil once you are down by 100 points, you can almost always overcome any deficit to win. Also, the computer players will always try to “set” the other team no matter how many bags you have. This is very frustrating. I’ve played many games where the opposing team will bid 4 and my computer partner will set them racking up tons of bags. Overall, not a bad app if you just want to play spades alone without much strategy.
