Great solitaire app
Fri Jul 24 2020 namasteus

This is the best free app of its kind I’ve discovered. One fun aspect is you can earn coins by playing that can buy you “magic,” ie a card magically uncovered and playable, if you get stuck. But if you use the magic too much you run out of coins and magic until you earn more. It’s great you have choices of card backs and backgrounds for free, plus a running tally of your 6 best games. Also very fun: there’s a daily “challenge” of 3 games, with the third rotating between time limited (after 2:30 the game ends) or moves limited (130 moves allowed). You get stars for each challenge victory. It’s a small thing but during this pandemic the daily challenge is a little bright spot. Still,it’s not a perfect app. You do have to sit through 30 second ads to use “ the magic” and briefer ads between games or if you pause the app. I get that they need to earn money but 30 seconds is a fair amount of time. Also, there’s no indication of what you actually do to earn coins, they show up but it would be nice to see why or how you earn them. Still this is a really good solitaire game.

Elise koski and I pretty much all the way love this game!!

I really enjoy playing this particular game of solitaire. I really, really like how you get unlimited hints if you need any, which me...psssst...I just never need:-), but they’re there if you do happen to need help aaaaand I absolutely looove how you earn money to buy magic if you get to the point your going to lose then you can use magic to, well.. WIN! What would I know about any of this stuff though since I personally NEVER use hints or magic to aid me in my games. Noooo.. mos definitely not this girlZ lol arite , but for realz I really do love playing solitaire once again since I tried this spin on it out. I got sick and over solitaire completely years and years ago but truth, I’m totally all the way back in the game! 🤪🥰🤩 I did give it a 4 because the hints the game gives are a bit rediculous. They keep giving the same hint over and it’s a pointless move and hit it again and it’ll tell you to move same card or cards right back and repeat.......etc. Very rare I get a helpful hint. Also I get highly annoyed at the fact that every time I have to stop playing even if it’s just a hot second, no matter what I have to re watch an ad again. I get it it’s free let’s not be greedy but it’s definitely extreme. Should definitely fix that because for a lot of people that issue alone is enough to make you want to put the phone down. Just saying.

Easy to play, relaxing, ads are not intrusive

This game is just what I was looking for. It is easy to get started playing and it even pauses the timer if you have to switch to a different screen. The ads are at the bottom and are not intrusive or annoying. The ads in between games are few and far between unless you have to switch to a different screen to take a call or something. Only then it will play an ad before you get back to your game. There are a few themes you can change around and the challenges make things a little more interesting if you find yourself getting too good at the game. You don’t have to buy anything to keep playing and it never tries to prompt you to buy anything either. All in all, this is a perfect game for me during breaks and downtime. There is nothing annoying about it. Annoyances are deal breakers for me.

Excellent app

This is, by far, my most favorite app. What I like best is that it doesn’t require you to pay to keep playing. I don’t mind watching an advertisement to get a bonus or to play for free. Most apps let you play for free then require you to purchase coins or something like that to keep play. Not this one! You can just keep playing and playing! It’s wonderful! The reason this is not a 5-star review is because it stopped working all of a sudden. And also because they changed the scoring system. Regarding the first issue: I can no longer access the game. I try to launch the game, and it immediately quits. I tried restarting my phone and the same thing happens. This problem started not too long after they changed their scoring system, which started giving fewer coins for each win. (Problem #2). I really hope they address this these issues because I’ve tried other solitaire games and haven’t found a better one out there.

The most beautiful solitaire game
Mon Nov 19 2018 MsTracyAllen

I love being able to use apps to play solitaire and this one is the most beautiful one I’ve ever played with. Seeing the fish swimming around is so cool! I only gave it four stars because there have been some times that and ad will pop up right in the middle of my game. I don’t like that. And I don’t like it if I have to close the app right in the middle of the game, when I come back I’ve got a watch another ad. Other apps I have used don’t do that. As long as you’re in the middle of an active game, you can close it and come back to it without having to watch another ad. But again, not with this one. The only other thing that I find is that it moves a little bit on the slow side. Waiting for the card deck to flip back over takes time away from my score but I enjoy watching it. Other than that, it’s very visually pleasing and I like the music it makes.

Some Annoying Quirks but Playing is Decent

This is one of the better solitaire apps out there. There are only two things that bug me about it though... The persistence of it asking me to turn on notifications or to rate the app, with only the options of yes or maybe later, and not just a NO option. The second thing is that even though I selected to have the sounds off, the only way to actually prevent the sounds is to put my phone on vibrate, and even then, if I'm listening to something or even just have my Bluetooth headset connected, the sounds won't go away, and interrupt whatever I'm listening to... Even when no sounds are actually happening! If this app is open, everything else is silenced while it waits for me to tap a card or do something to make a sound, and it loudly booms over Bluetooth. I'd love to be able to listen to whatever I want and not be interrupted whole playing solitaire. Please fix this! When someone selects sounds "OFF", then don't force the sounds and interrupt whatever I'm listening to from another app!

Great if waiting but....

This game has cooler background graphics than most but it has a couple of bugs. One annoying thing is that instead of telling you that there are no moves left, it will suggest that you move your entire row from your queen don to a different king. Like this will fix the game. For example, the Queen of Diamonds from the King of Clubs to the King of Spades. The other bug is after a game is finished and you put the phone down, when you come back it will redeal that game instead of a new one. I know this is happening because the timer says like 4:30 and I just started the game so it’s adding the previous time with the time from the new start. Sometimes it will put the previous game back in the middle and your playing it again and suddenly recogiste the moves that you finished the game with. At first I thought I was imagining it but these just kept happening repeatedly. The longer I had it on my phone. the more it happened so I deleted it finally.

Horrible gameplay blocked by paywall and ads

This has got to be the worst solitaire app I have ever used. You cannot play more than 2 rounds of solitaire without being told that your deck has "run out of useful moves" And the only way to fix it is to use a "deadlock" which you either pay for with the in game tokens, which you earn from playing or you can purchase. Or you watch an ad. Both greedy money hungry ways to make money off of you. See it wouldn't be that big of a deal if this happened every once in a while. But this happens almost every round, and it almost always happens on the daily challenges, which are supposed to be pre-made and possible to play... With this constant interruption it's impossible to play a full round of solitaire half the time. I play solitaire on my phone so I don't have to restart because the deck has run out of moves, but I get this problem more on this app than when I play solitaire in real life. The developers of this app are money hungry and it's very noticeable.
