Easy to F2P

Obviously in most idle games of this genre whales (people who spend a lot of money) are going to lead but it doesn’t feel as bad in this game as every player gets in an insane amount of summons which it doesn’t feel overwhelming or underwhelming as the summon system levels up to make it more balanced for players who put more time in. So far the events already feel achievable without spending money so I have been having fun without worrying about that. I also like the idle system you can turn on a battery saving system which I have yet to play one with this feature. I would also like to point unusual idea of having more characters in your formation taking more quests to unlock for example you can only have a certain amount of characters until you get to a certain quest but in this game you can have many more than the usual 5 or 7. TLDR: Fun with some new ideas a little easier to F2P

Evasion Mechanic Bad and Predatory FoMO
Mon Jul 29 2024 Sean_0278

This game is pretty fun when you first start out and even when you get to later floors. However, when you start to get somewhat further than the midway point, bosses have a cool mechanic called evasion. With evasion, no matter how strong your characters are, the bosses can simply ignore it and “dodge” your attacks, making your damage non existent. While there are ways for your characters to be able to work around this mechanic, even with said characters either increasing accuracy or making the bosses evasion go down, it takes a long time to a point where it just gets boring. I realize it’s an idle game, like you’re supposed to let the game play in the background while you do other stuff, but it just makes you not want to play it. Also, as you gain more stuff and increase in levels, it constantly offers you to buy things like more cards to unlock more stars for characters or gems or other in game items to increase your effectiveness so you don’t have to wait for a week to move up a couple of levels. What’s even funnier is they’re on a timer to promote FoMO, or fear of missing out. It gets to a point where it’s very predatory. I think this game could be so much better than it is, but if their current model is working and making tons of money, I don’t think they will change it because it works for them.

Best game on the app store.

I have tried many of the games in the rpg, strategy, gacha, idle/afk game genres. The notorious Raid Shadow Legends, AFK Arena, AFK Heroes, Idle Heroes, Blade Idle, Slime Idle, just to name some of the more memorable ones. This game has it all. It is simply better. Imagine the best parts of each of these games put in one. SevenKnights is REFINED idle rpg gacha game. The more notable topic to discuss is pay-to-win P2W. This game like many others offers inapp purchases to boost progress. Also, there are optional ads to watch for rewards as well as a ad removal pack. Overall the game handles P2W pretty well so that the paid benefits arent way too overpowered. And everything in the game is attainable without paying a single cent. I highly encourage you guys to just give it a try for an hour or two. Maybe spare some lunch change to support the devs. This is one of those games that could be bigger than Raid Shadow Legends or whatever.

Cool game

Personally I love this game. I love the original Seven Knights more but, as we all know it’s been removed from the app stores. It’s pretty chill and farming for resources is easy and stress free, one thing is though, I don’t like how some of the legendary hero’s have animated idles while others don’t. Some might not care about that but I think it would be a nice touch if the developers could create animations for more legendary hero’s and not just the ones that come out with each update. I would think that certain hero’s like Kagura or something would be animated, but all legends should. Might be small adjustments but would make the game so much more enjoyable than it already is.

10-12day f2p

Pretty nice game you'll like it. Free to play is 31 ads a day, plus 1 as a multiplier for each log in. So 32 if you only log in once a day. I made it a ways but not now I can't convince myself to open it. Seems more like a chore than a pass time. Ad removal is where I've taken a star away. $6 for 28 days. So 6x13=$78 + whatever transaction fee. That's gross, console games aren't worth that. One time add removal almost guarantees more commitment from your players. So good luck to you. But it's not for me. They also let a 'hacker' sit in first place from day 1 to day 6 before they removed him. It was obvious on day one he already hit stage 21,000. It's not possible even if you bought everything they had to offer. Why it took so long to remove him is beyond me.

F2P friendly

I don’t know what game some of these other reviewers are talking about. This game is SO F2P FRIENDLY. You get so many free summons and can get to summon level 6 to start getting legendaries within a few days. Some people think they should get all the same stuff as whales without paying anything. This game rewards you just for playing and doing your (very easy) dailies every day. It’s addicting and the gameplay loop is really satisfying. I haven’t bought any gems and I usually have 300k-600k gems depending on how recently I’ve summoned on a banner, just from playing daily! This game is worth the download!!

I wish they’d bring back the original.

I wasn’t sure why the original was taken down honestly, maybe too much currency bloat and power creeping but just like this idle game, the original seven knights was actually fairly free to play friendly. It was possible to grind out whatever you wanted as long as you could put the time in. I can’t even stomach seven knights 2. Totally different visual style from the first, whereas this is closer to the original but the gameplay isn’t even close. I just miss the crazy amazing animations and how good it felt to be rewarded for grinding. I wish netmarble brought it back. If you want easy free to play friendly idle game this definitely does that.

Extremely Predatory

This game is baseline very fun. The problem stems from the game being whale heaven. It is extremely predatory in every aspect of the word. I’ve never seen a gatcha game where the ad removal wasn’t a 1 time purchase. In this game it’s a 1 month sub to remove ads which is wild. Then in order to summon the highest heroes in the game you need to basically hit a summoners level of 6 which by default doesn’t take a huge amount of time, probably a week or two from your start date. The problem is the game whips so many packs at you constantly and so many ways for you to spend money that it’s basically unplayable for F2p. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on mobile games in my days but i think I’ll take my money elsewhere.
