Set a Watch is a cooperative strategy game where you must protect a series of locations from an encroaching army of monsters. Each round, one member of your four-hero party stays at camp to rest and perform vital actions, while the other three stand watch. You must use your limited dice and unique character abilities to defeat the monsters in the 'line' before they breach your camp. With various hero classes and randomized monster decks, no two games are ever the same.

It perfectly captures the tense, claustrophobic feeling of huddling around a campfire while monsters lurk in the shadows. The UI is incredibly clean, distilling complex board game components into a layout that feels natural on a touchscreen.

The depth of strategy here is immense. Every die roll feels like a critical decision—do you use that '6' to slay a high-health monster, or save it to activate a hero's unique ability? Solid play but glitchy. Every game I play kicks me out once or twice. Fortunately, it lets you continue reasonably close to where you were pre-glitch. The art is great. The tutorial is excellent. The rendition is faithful. Hopefully they can patch those nasty bugs.

How am I supposed to win on the last level? Even with all four party members contributing there are just too many monsters!

The cards will lose there text and just be white so you can’t use them or exhaust them. Monsters in the line sometimes disappear so you just get attacked at the end. I think this just missed a few QA and look forward to it getting sorted. For now I wouldn’t recommend as the 2 games I played had massive bugs

I was excited to try this app. I play a lot of digital board game apps and have always enjoyed them. This however won’t even start. I wish I hadn’t spent my $5 on it at this point.
