I’ve been here since January, so I was pretty early, and seeing the insane improvement from having just a few consoles and apps to basically a whole Operating System is crazy. Like, it has an App Store, good customization, more consoles, way more features and apps, and even a whole social media app. Seriously, the improvements are insane, and now that GameCube support is being added as I’m typing this, this app is gonna be huge. Also, the developer is amazing. Always talking with the community, answering questions, and actually listening to feedback. ❤️
Dude this app is so cool and seeing the Devs stay on top of what people want in the Review section and replying to almost every Review changes my Review to 5 stars max. I understand now that they are working on the 3ds emulator to make it faster and I mess with it I must say though for the Developers who reply to this you should check out the sonic unleashed recomp iOS port you can add mods and do way more with that on iPhone check it out please!
I’m a huge fan of this app and I’ve been looking for an emulator like this. I think the customization on the home screen, social media built in, and discord integration are great. But I’ve had a major issue with psp games. Tried playing god of war ghost of Sparta and metal gear peace walker and both are unplayable due to stuttering. Tried performance mode and frame skipping but still unplayable. Tried playing the games is on ppsspp and I they ran with no issues so my phone seems to be powerful enough. Would love to play my psp library on this app if this can be fixed. Thank you!
I’ve used a lot of frontends, and this is one of the only ones that didn’t subject me to a bunch of headaches. So much just works right out of the box, finding boxart a huge percentage of the time… it *feels* like I’m just using a normal console, not just a soulless list of games. Honestly the only thing I can complain about is that it doesn’t seem to fully utilize the advanced audio for Super Game Boy games (so I can’t hear the iconic “Haylp, Halyp!” in Donkey Kong ‘94 or the advanced soundtrack for Animaniacs). If that was fixed I think this would be perfect.
Everything is perfect with this app, and I can run switch games with a third party. connected to this. I’m having trouble syncing the games from melonx but I could run Mello by itself. All it needs is PS2 and WII U. And this will be a perfect all-in-one daily driver to store all retro games. I understand PS3 and Xbox 360 is in going to be on here for a while, probably, or he’s not going to put it in at all but you’re just missing 2 retro consoles, and this will be perfect after you put it in!
Why did you ban me from pictomee for saying the word hot, defending someone who made a Sonic drawing from someone who said the drawing sucked, and a blank canvas? This is unacceptable. You said it was for 16+ and you are treating it like it was for babies. I 100% know your moderation system is just bots (not ai) unban me, NOW. Plus I'm writing this review because you didn't reply to my email.
Really great premise. Needs some more optimization. When in controller mode I lose the option to open menus for save states. I would like an option between not full screen and full screen where it keeps the native resolution but scales up to fit screen to where it’s still 4:3 but larger. I would also like the ability to bind keys to be a save state button. Big thing is not being able to access menu when in controller. I have to disconnect my controller then go about it that way.
I really love the idea here, but some usability issues are holding this back. Customizing the home screen using touch controls is oddly finicky, with elements becoming nonresponsive or moving in aggravating and unpredictable ways. I wish there were CRT and other filters for every system, though I love the LCD emulation on the GBA! And figuring out the option to map fast-forwarding onto controllers like the Backbone One was less intuitive than is probably ideal. With a few revisions and some polish this will easily be a 5-star app!
