Bug fixes and optimisations
- Critial Stability Fixes
Rush Rally Origins is a masterclass in top-down racing. It manages to capture the technical depth of serious rally sims while being perfectly playable on a small screen. The handling is the best I've ever felt in a mobile racer; you can actually feel the difference between gravel, snow, and tarmac. It’s not just about holding down the gas; it’s about weight transfer and careful braking.
The game is a remake/homage to the original Rush Rally, and it shows. There is a lot of heart here. The weather effects aren't just visual; they actively change how you have to drive. Whether you're playing for five minutes in a time trial or doing a full championship, the game feels premium and respects the player's skill. It’s a must-have for any racing fan.
Realistic physics and car handling
60 FPS gameplay on supported devices
Dynamic weather and day/night cycles
Comprehensive car upgrade system
Don't be afraid to use the handbrake for tight hairpins, but ensure you initiate the slide before the apex to maintain exit speed.
Before a race, adjust your suspension and gear ratios. A softer suspension is vital for the bumps of the gravel stages in Kenya.
Yes, Rush Rally Origins is optimized for high-refresh-rate screens for ultra-smooth racing.
At first I was wondering if I should pay $5 or if the game was really a 5 star game but after just a small price, I can definitely see how it got 5 stars! Here are just a few suggestions that I have. 1.) It would be nice to get more features from Rush Rally 3. For example, please add the red, yellow, and green colors to the maps of the tracks. Also, it would be nice to have a mini map during the race and have a racing line that tells you when to brake. 2.) I really hope that we get more game modes like skill games, single rally, or single stage. 3.) I know that there aren’t enough players yet but getting an online game mode would be amazing. If we can only get the local network and Game Center online for now, that’s fine but hopefully online comes in the future. 4.) The AI racing times (and AI racers) need to be adjusted because even when I don’t make a mistake, I still get 3rd or 4th place. That’s all I have for now. This game is great and I love the look of the new UI. Keep up the great work! ***Edit: Please add a garage button to upgrade cars easier. For time trial, I think you should unlock the locations/tracks through completing the championships so it’s easier to use time trail to practice a track that’s giving you a hard time. Also, Rush Rally Online has not been working properly. Email verifications don’t always work and when going to the Rush Rally Online page that has the sign out button, the email does not always show up. Sorry for so much! I just have a lot of ideas lol***
You can really tell when love and attention is put into a game. Even a game that wants to be ‘Arcady’ still has attention to detail, to design and everything in between. This isn’t a rehash of the Rush Rally series. It’s a side step into arcade territory that oozes amazingness and artistry. Yeah, you can do almost the same thing in rush rally 3, where you choose a top down mode. But look at the detail. The ground is different. It’s more realistic. The smoke, the effects. Maybe even the shadowing.. going around turns on a drop off is so nerve racking because you can see the cliff and how far it drops. The racing! More than one car doing rally. So many modes! And the plus side… this game will be supported for almost forever. Updates, upgrades, fixes.. these Devs know the love needed to push every game they have forward and these reasons are the reasons why you need to stop reading this and drop the money that’s equivalent to a coffee and play the crap out of this game. The only thing I ask, is maybe can we get a air freshener that will swing back and forth as I swing around corners, or a cup of water? I know. Stupid and trivial, haha. 👋🏻
This is an excellent little rally arcade game. It’s not quite perfect. For example neither of the two views is really satisfying. The default view looks cool but driving while looking at the front, side, top, or back of the car is very difficult especially when the co-driver’s instructions are still vital to success. “Hard left? My left or yours?” The chase view is much, much better but there is still a lag so you will sometimes be forced to steer blind and hope for the best. The chase view unfortunately makes it impossible to tell if you are going uphill, downhill, or driving on level ground which makes breaking decisions difficult. I would prefer a little lower, behind the car view to see/feel the gradient of the road better. That’s mostly it for the negatives, which really don’t detract that much from the game play. The graphics look great, the cars feel and sound great (especially the not-a-WRX). It’s a blast to hand break around hairpins, and since it’s not a sim, you can pretty much keep it floored while doing it. If I could add any features, I would add some service areas in the championship. I know it’s not sim, but a service stop or two where you can reallocate your upgrades would be nice (you do not need to change tires or repair damage). But then I have a rally simulation background not an arcade background. Anyways, it’s good enough that I will probably end up checking out Rush Rally 3 as well. It may be more my speed even though I can’t use a wheel with my phone.
It does great what it's trying to accomplish. Usually I'm not a big fan of these kinda games but I like it more than the others because the over head cam is above and behind the car. I don't like when it's on an angle or following it from the front. Nothing negative I can really say about it. Few bugs here and there but I know they'll get sorted out. It accomplishes exactly what it's trying to. A top down rally racer with customization, leaderboards, and a good bit of tracks. Good price too. 🤙 Edit: It would also be nice to know exactly how many people are on each leaderboard. For example I am ranked 15th on one of the tracks but can only scroll up to 125th place. I'd like to know how many people are on the leaderboard total as well. Just an idea.
This game is so addictive due to how the progression and gameplay are finally tuned to satisfy both racing games veterans and even casuals. At first you’ll feel useless but the game will keep you hooked so you learn how to get better and upgrade your cars to progress throughout the game. It requires patience at first until your muscle memory gets the controls down and then you’ll be clearing tracks in no time. The people complaining about this game being hard are just impatient. Get this game and support this dev. Awesome job on this absolute gem of a game 👏👏👏
I really like this game and rush rally 3 and 2. I haven’t been able to get multiplayer matches. It must be nearly impossible to have enough people playing even just in America at any given moment. I think maybe a smart idea would be making a big bold leaderboard for events like asphalt 9. I know it’s a totally different type of game, but they really have the “events” and leaderboards down to a science. Honestly you could just copy that and it would bring in so many new people that they would be flooding multiplayer
I own all of the rally games from this dev and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s a perfect blend of sim and arcade. It’s a great example of a pick-up and play game. For novices or newcomers, there’s probably going to be a learning curve, but it’ll pay off. If you’re into rally racing or racers overall, check this one out. It’s a quality experience. Just added**** The only downside to the game is it is a battery hog. You may have to change the graphic setting in the settings menu. It’s not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning as an option.
It may just be me, but I find this game a bit frustrating. I’ve played the first two levels so many times, improved my times of course and upgraded my car, but can’t seem to place in top three to advance. The learning curve is too steep, the AI is too “good” or I just stink at this game. I can say it’s been pretty frustrating so much so that I’ve just turned it off quite a few times.
