Sat Sep 27 2025 PandawoojuI love this interaction game so much! Especially since I’m into historical/romantic cdrama, those I like the most! As this game has drama, romance, making important decisions which you can look back to if you had made the wrong choices, it really helps me and others especially as I tend to overthink the decisions & atleast I can see what will happen if I made the other choices. Also I finished the game, and I love it so much! I wonder when “Road to Empress 2” is gonna come outttt, haha like I really want it out now, but I also don’t want the game to rush much, it’s just that I’m so hyped for the second part. :) also evie huang (lead/main character) is beautiful, cute, and her acting is very good! And the male actors who plays the princes are handsome, and attractive. The roles for this game is very well done, as it pleased my outlook on this game! 👍

Sat Feb 07 2026 Queen of Diamonds JI love how Road to Empress I captures everything great about a Chinese historical romance drama while also allowing us to make choices as if we were transported into the drama itself. From the music to the high quality acting, I was hooked as soon as I pressed “enter the palace”. You can tell the developers and writing team truly took their time ensuring this was done right. I love that you receive information on each character you encounter and some information is revealed after the encounter plays out to give more info that wasn’t there before. If you love watching Chinese historical dramas and want to experience it first hand, this is absolutely the game for you!!!

Thu Sep 11 2025 Mad1t2I finished the game and i need more!!! Very immersive gameplay. You forget it's a game and get completely wrapped up in the storyline. I did notice between chapters 7 through 10, there were times where the english captions stopped working. Other than that, i need 100 more chapters immediately!! The actors in the game are top notch as well! All in all, i would highly recommend this game! Game creators you did a wonderful job with this one! Please keep the chapters coming quickly!💜💜

From the first two chapters, I was already hooked. The game is an interactive game where you make the decisions. For someone who loves period C-Dramas, this game is amazing. I’ve already died and gotten branded with the peony flower lol but you can retry which is great. It’s like watching a show and you make the decisions for the protagonist. 8/10!! Amazing!!

Sun Jan 25 2026 Jadefang557Female protagonist FMV with very high production values. You play as a young Wu Zetian who became empress of China during the Tang dynasty in the 7th century. You start out as an imperial consort and secretary and have to survive at court against lots of intrigue. Acting, music, atmosphere and costumes are very well done. It is honestly really impressive. Great value for money. While in Chinese, the FMV has clearly written subtitles in English. I had a blast playing this. The best Chinese made entertainment since “A Chinese Ghost Story”.

I literally downloaded this game today and I finished it today that’s how locked in I was bro like ITS WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

I figured that since I watch a ton of Chinese dramas I would do pretty well but alas my poor fl keeps getting poisoned lololol. Fortunately, this game allows you to go back and correct the mistakes allowing you to see what would happen if you make different choices I look forward to seeing what happens and how the plot continues to develop!

I wish the storyline was more flexible as there is only one storyline we have to follow so there are wrong answers which leads to your death haha, but I enjoy it so much. I even recommend it to all my friends and family. I wish they make more of these type of game. Please make more!!!! Where is part 2??
