Qb Planets is a visually stunning and clever twist on the Rubik's Cube formula. It takes the idea of a 3D grid and wraps it around tiny, beautiful planets. You aren't just matching colors; you're navigating a little astronaut across the surface to reach his ship. It’s a wonderful blend of spatial awareness and pathfinding.
The AR mode is particularly impressive, allowing you to project these little planetary dioramas onto your desk and physically move around them to see the solution. The difficulty curve is perfectly tuned, introducing new hazards and mechanics just as you feel you've mastered the previous ones. It’s a cozy, intelligent, and very 'Nintendo-esque' puzzle experience.
Unique Cubic Puzzle Mechanics
Stunning Low-Poly 3D Visuals
Augmented Reality (AR) Mode Support
Over 100 Hand-Crafted Levels
Before you rotate a face, check the 'sides' of the cube. Rotating one face often moves a path segment or a hazard on an adjacent side that you'll need later. Plan your move to avoid trapping yourself.
Tap to move your astronaut. If the path is broken, swipe to rotate that section of the planet. Your goal is to collect all the stars and reach the base within the move limit.
No, the entire game can be played in standard 3D mode, though AR is a fun optional way to experience the puzzles.
I enjoy the fresh take on a rubix-cube style puzzle! Two thumbs up! Offline mode works great!
I love it and spending $5 on it was a great so far on planet level 2 with no problem
