This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Updated for iPhone X.
After the latest update I was able to fully replicate my actual bike (black spokes) so woo hoo. A lot of the challenges I thought were fully impossible, but with a little time they come easy enough. I would give this a 4 star rating because I'm not liking the way the characters crash (the bike sorta sticks to the ground and guy doesn't rag doll enough) but that would be silly given how great the game is overall. I feel like the motion and touch response is a little better than Pumped 2 which is great. But I do NOT look forward to juggling between 3 trick libraries during tricks!
I had Pumped Bmx on an older device and also have it on my PS4. When I found out last week that a third release was coming out I marked my calendar. Love the fact that you added real riders and their bikes to this release. Would make me so happy if Dave Mirra (RIP) was one of the secret unlockables that were teased. I hope you release this for the PS4 as well. Sad this is the final game and I wish I could just keep buying new tracks, but thank you for everything!
I have been playing this game since the first one! It just keeps getting better and better every game! Pumped BMX 3 can't get any better, the tricks in this addition are so smooth and more style looking more real! Love bike customization and real rider pick! One small complaint is that when I'm listening to music the volume goes way down in the headphones, hope you can work this minor bug out. Great game can't wait until the next one!
I bike a lot and by the end of the day I'm too tired to ride, so I go on Instagram and TCU and see all the crazy videos people put out on a daily basis. This gets me supper amped to ride again and I find myself dreaming of new tricks I want to try, but I am limited to only what my imagination can creat. this app not only lets me put these dreams into reality ( or virtual reality) but new trick combinations I haven't even thought of and for that I thank you Adam hunt.
...unlocking a new set of levels. I still find the controls to be a bit counterintuitive. I have had difficulty getting used to them. The game needs different control options, at least for the tilt controls. Every good game with tilt controls has the option to turn them off, so people can a) relax while playing, b) not look like a crazy person in public, or c) for this game, actually be able to see the screen while you're in the middle of a jump.
Get it! The graphics, the physics, everything! It's too easy to lose track of time playing this. It is by far the best action sports game for the iPhone. It's basically the "skate 3" of bmx for iPhones. When you find a course you like, and a good line of tricks for it, you can literally play the same map over and over again. A good flow is very satisfying! Love this game.
The boosts don't do anything. Sometimes I'm unable to play a level over and over and over to master it because I have things to do and can't sit there and play a game on my phone forever. So I think you should be able to double tap pump or have a boost button so I can get to the next jump. I'm not ashamed to admit I don't hit the jumps and landing perfect every time but I'd still like to be able to make it to the next jump which I believe I could do if given a boost button. Also even if the racer or whatever the other boost is worked why am I having to fling my phone to the left or right. Just make it a button.
your save issue isn't fixed at all. i got to 48 challenges unlocked on the first level a solid week ago. i've updated the app, but still - EVERY time i close it & come back to play, i have to start from back there. i am sick of having to start from there & then unlocking the Mountain over & over & over & over. the game is so awesome, but that is so annoying that i'm giving up on the game entirely. please, fix your app, have it actually work, & then i can enjoy it again. but it's way too frustrating to continue playing it with this saving issue that remains unfixed, despite what your update claims.
While it's not quite relevant to his line of side-scrolling BMX games, Adam Hunt has a stick and poke tattoo on his foot.
