We've completed German, French and Spanish translations, and added multi-language support to rarely-used dialogs which were previously missing them.
Ponchorado is a rare gem that successfully marries the aesthetic of a Sergio Leone film with the addictive precision of a rhythm game. The tension in each duel is palpable; standing in the dusty street, waiting for the beat to drop so you can outdraw your opponent, creates a level of immersion I didn't expect from a mobile title. The hand-drawn art style is dripping with character, making every outlaw you face feel like a unique threat rather than just another target.
Mechanically, it's brilliant. It doesn't just ask you to tap to the beat; it asks you to 'feel' the showdown. The way the music swells as your Grit meter fills is a masterclass in audio-visual feedback. Some of the later bosses have incredibly tricky rhythm patterns that will test even veteran rhythm gamers, but the sense of accomplishment when you finally land that killing shot at high noon is second to none. It’s stylish, challenging, and perfectly tuned.
Unique Rhythm Combat
Original Western Soundtrack
Stylish Hand-drawn Art
Unlockable Ponchos and Hats
Watch the hat of your opponent. When it tilts, the rhythm is about to speed up. Keep your taps light and fast to build your 'Grit' meter.
Travel from town to town, taking down notorious outlaws. Each boss has a unique musical genre and rhythm pattern.
While not required, headphones are highly recommended to better feel the rhythm of the duels.
I have been quite addicted to this game for the past week or so, and I love the style, gameplay, upgrades, different game modes and bandits. A couple things I think could be cool! As others have said, having a known purchase amount for ad free could be helpful. I think the difficulty on a few levels is a little off balance, as I spent probably four hours on a level at one point and then cleared the next one first try. Overall I love how unique the music and game style are, it reminds me of the cartoons I watched as a kid!
As far as I can tell there isn’t the option to buy the game and avoid ads. The ads are long and drawn out. It really kills the game play. Otherwise this game is awesome so far! I love the flow of the game play and the upgrades and banter in the game. It just needs a paywall to avoid ads.
I literally just started the game so obviously this review is subject to change my only issue is that the “kisses” to heal companions is the same red as the bullets and dynamite making it somewhat difficult to tell the difference, but so far this game is amazing. I love the art style, storytelling, gameplay, and controls. 10/10 you should download 🤩
You fill a “tip jar” with real-life purchases to eventually remove ads with no clue how much you’d have to buy to fill it. Otherwise the game is decent. It’s a cute art style. Gameplay is okay. Would rather just pay a straight up amount for no ads…
The game is ok for passing the time. But it the progression is slow and it’s kinda boring after some time it needs more stuff to be enjoyable and entertaining like other similar games.
The game is quite well-made, but although the description says it has a Chinese translation, it doesn't actually have one.
Art style and dialogue it’s amazing. Good job my weird friends😁
I can’t get the game to load level 50 it gets stuck and crashes on the loading screen. Can someone fix this?
