[New Content]
1. Added new Coffee Run milestones for levels 16/19/22/24/26. When your Chief's Office reaches the corresponding level, coffee will be automatically sent to the Alliance Chat. Chiefs who have already met the requirements before this update will receive the corresponding Coffee Run items via in-game Mail.
[Optimizations and Adjustments]
1. Optimized the grouping and matching rules for Alliance Training
2. Improved the sorting rules for the Alliance member list
Police Chief delivers a satisfying blend of real-time emergency dispatch and base-building strategy. Watching your precinct transform from a tiny suburban precinct into a massive state-of-the-art law enforcement headquarters provides a great sense of progression. The management mechanics strike a nice balance between macro-level budgeting and micro-level unit dispatching.
The city dispatch map stays exciting as emergency calls range from routine traffic stops to high-stakes bank robberies requiring specialized SWAT deployment. Managing unit response times while keeping enough patrol cars free for sudden emergencies introduces a fun tactical pressure.
Graphically, the station management screen is clean and detailed, letting you zoom in to see officers working, filing reports, or conducting interrogrations. It's a thoroughly engaging simulator that strategy and management fans will thoroughly enjoy.
Dynamic city map featuring varied emergency calls and crime events
Detailed police station building and facility management
Upgradeable units ranging from foot patrols to SWAT and police helicopters
Officer recruitment, skill specialization, and scheduling systems
City district expansion with escalating difficulty and crime syndicates
Categorize incoming 911 calls by urgency. High-priority crimes require immediate unit dispatch to prevent crime ratings from spiking.
Distribute funds evenly between hiring new officers, training existing units, and upgrading vehicle fleets to handle larger city zones.
Invest early in detective units to resolve high-tier major cases that yield large municipal budget grants.
Monitor the city map overlay and send patrol cars, K9 units, or tactical teams to active crime scenes.
Construct and upgrade station rooms including armories, crime labs, dispatch centers, and holding cells.
Yes, core city management and dispatch gameplay can be played offline without a network connection.
Successfully resolving calls and closing major detective cases rewards city council grants and daily budget increases.
I’ve played a lot of mobile strategy games, and Police Chief has become one of my favorites. The mix of city building, resource management, alliance teamwork, and competitive events keeps me coming back every day. I like that there’s always something to work toward, whether it’s upgrading my city, planning strategies with my alliance, or competing in events. The developers do a great job keeping the game fresh with regular updates and new content. Every event feels like an opportunity to improve, and the community has been welcoming and competitive at the same time. As someone who enjoys creating gaming content, I appreciate games that people actually enjoy watching, and Police Chief definitely has that potential. Whether you’re free-to-play or decide to spend a little, success comes from good strategy and consistency. If you’re looking for a long-term strategy game that’s rewarding and constantly evolving, I’d definitely recommend giving Police Chief a try. Looking forward to seeing what future updates bring!
Police Chief is a really fun game and refreshingly does not have any ads that I’ve noticed in-game. I’ve been playing for nearly a month now amd have truly enjoyed myself (I just had a newborn so I’ve been limited to mobile gaming a lot of the time). Unlike other similar games that give you about 5 minutes of fun at a time, I genuinely find myself on here for 30-60 minutes in a single session. My biggest issue with the game, however, is the shameless requests for money. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve willingly purchased a few things in game, and having the option to fast track some progression isn’t the problem. But BLOCKING your progression behind “Top-Up’s” is! The game consists of many different events throughout the week/month and I’ve typically been able to participate and enjoy myself. Recently and even called “Alliance Mobilization” has come up and I find myself literally unable to participate without spending money. The event revolves around doing tasks in game that will reward you and your alliance members, but all of the tasks I have require having an EXCESSIVE amount of speedups which are difficult to stack up without spending money. Let’s say that those are just “Difficult” tasks though, right? I’ll give the game the benefit of the doubt there. HOWEVER, I LITERALLY HAVE A TASK THAT TELLS ME TO TOP UP 50,000 COINS… THAT’S A $100 PURCHASE. Again, the game has been mostly great, and having the OPTION to use your hard earned money to speed up your progression is fine. LITERALLY FORCING YOU TO SPEND MONEY to progress is not and I hope this event changes to allow a guy like me to actually participate…
Games like this are straight rigged to make you spend. Ads are a complete lie and not like actual gameplay so the false advertising and bait and switch has started already. Was expecting a chill police HQ build simulator type game. Wrong! This is a straight PvP police war simulator with everything behind pay walls unless you want to become food for the much bigger spenders. Run away and don’t support the greed of these developers. You’ve been warned. Definitely not a chill relaxing builder type sim game you can play in your free time. You need to play everyday as much as possible almost like a full time job or you will be destroyed by other real world players which completely goes against what this game should be stand for. Fake ads and videos got me to try it out but never actually has any enjoyment to the play style at all. Just another endless grinder time based game where eventually the builds will take you months of real world time or cost real money. Overall eventually the game will fail just like many others this is copying because of the greed of the devs to steal your hard earned money for fake digital goods that can be changed with zero notice and the devs will eventually walk away rich delisting this game leaving you with nothing to go start another game spinoff destroying everything you worked for with no remorse.
I enjoy the gameplay, but my experience with player moderation and customer support was extremely disappointing. A player repeatedly bypassed the chat filter by breaking a racial slur (n word hard R) into multiple messages in State Chat. I took screenshots, reported the player, provided the player’s name and ID, and submitted all of the evidence through the in-game support system. Instead of reviewing the report, support repeatedly sent the same automated responses asking me to explain the issue again. I asked multiple times for a live representative but was never connected to one. I had to explain the same report over and over before trying to exit then receiving a response that finally acknowledged racial slurs as oh yeah those are not cool. Moderation tools should work efficiently when players provide clear evidence. Reporting hate speech should not require repeatedly explaining the same issue. Nor should it be allowed. I hope the developers improve: * Chat moderation for players who evade filters by splitting offensive words into multiple messages. * The customer support system so reports are actually reviewed instead of looping through automated responses. * Blocking functionality, as I also had trouble getting the player added to my blocked list. I like the game itself, but the moderation and support experience needs significant improvement
The game is the same progressive upgrade cycle as so many others. It has idiot proof guidance for every step of the way, so there really isn’t much decision making for the player. It’s nothing like the ads for the game, but it’s fine if you like incremental upgrades with more visual improvements than the typical number spreadsheet incremental games. I just wish there was some puzzle stages or some actual strategy in the combat, or anything to break up the monotony. But it will serve as a distraction for 15 minute a day and 1 hour the first day if you want
Great game very easy to rank up, and have fun but feels very easy to max a lot out even without spending any money. Really wish you would add more to the story make the station bigger and able to grow more after a certain Chief level feels very stagnant to just play with alliance and only able and only have 10 story chapters then all done need more to the storyline more major criminal solo task and need more places in the city to level up
At first, when I downloaded the game, it asked me to choose a character. I tried to, and then it would ask me, “Are you sure you want to choose this character?” I would click confirm, but then it would take me back to the character screen, I would choose it, and the same pop up would appear again, asking if I wanted to choose this character, it was a endless loop. I tried deleting and redownloading the game, and it finally worked. I thought it was just a weird glitch, but now it’s happening again; I can’t buy or pay for anything with the in-game currencies, I literally can’t do anything, Can’t build or upgrade anything.
The game overall is enjoyable yet the ads neglect to tell you that it is online and other players can attack you for resources which I hate on mobile games. Why not give me the option to just play alone. If you are looking forward to this thinking it’s a solo game. It is not. Definitely won’t be supporting this developer anymore unfortunately. As a developer myself on PC who uses Unreal Engine this game is misleading in certain aspects and would not meet my development teams expectations at all especially quality. It’s very disappointing and will not be played anymore.
